Jax is of average size and girth for a Besalisk even though having a decent belly. Sporting the walrus moustache combined with a heavy stubble on his sagging chin. The bottom left of his four arms has been replaced with a cybernetic claw that operates crudely but gets the job done most of the time.
Equipment & Clothing: When Jax went into prison he wore a pair of dark brown, padded trousers whose prime quality was the many pockets it had and it’s knee-protectors. On it he wore a modified piece of dark green battle armour that protected his chest. Due to the 4 arms instead of the usual 2 it is slightly shorter than most chest pieces and therefore Jax’s wife-beater shirt comes out underneath it. Over it a leather harness provides him with storage space for various things like munitions, bombs and weapons. Prime amongst these is Jax’s set of short-barrelled scatterguns holstered at the small of his back. Shortly after come his pair of stun baton’s that stick out from over his shoulder. As a finishing touch Jax kept a pair of T-6 ‘Thunderer’ blaster pistols.
Personality: Jax has become increasingly grim over the last couple of years. Substance abuse, murder, estrangement from his family all have put a bit of a downer on Jax’s attitude. Unfortunately prison life only gets harder with a ‘fuck everything’ attitude, especially vis-à-vis the guards. Recently he has become more placid and brooding. Though his 4 arms still ache for a brawl every now and then. Jax is grim in many regards but keeps sarcasm at hand to parry most questions and to add fuel to some fires.
History: Jax was born to a mining family on Gorse, a mining operation that exploited the remnants of Gorse’s moon; Cynda. From an early age explosives interested Jax and due to his parents line of work that wasn’t at all a bad thing. Over his career he became known as a resourceful and responsible demolitions expert. Unfortunately an accident caused by tectonic shifts made an explosive go off sooner than expected. Jax lost friends in that blast and his lower left arm. It shied him away from mining operations, explosion jobs in particular and he got a job as an enforcer/security for his families business. As such he got into contact with the more unsavoury side of Gorse and familiarized himself with the duo of stun batons he lovingly calls the ‘bruising brothers’. He thrived in his new role, but in a bad way. Jax got involved in the shadier Cantina brawls and a loanshark to buy himself a cybernetic replacement limb. Jax got increasingly estranged from his parents and family business as getting the interests on his loan together pushed him to do worse things. It was a period of deathsticks, glitterstim, murder and haziness all together. It was during this time period that he also got by the ‘wicked sisters’; a pair of one handed scatterguns that were gruesomely put to use in a revolt against the Empire. This was when Jax got arrested and put in prison without substances to ease the pain, but out of the grasp of the loanshark…
