Felix's powers of deduction were in overhaul. An underground lab on this sort of world, a female imperial officer with a bunch of killer robots and a fabled Dark Trooper, and what appeared to be human and alien experimentation. This had ISB's evil stink all over it. In all of his time working for the Empire, Felix had worked with an ISB agent only once before, and it wasn't pleasant. He much preferred working for government officials, or normal officers, or heck, even just doing straight up bounty work. Felix grabbed the necklace still inside his shirt. It was tucked in there where the world couldn't see it, and that was the way it would stay.

"You won't have to worry about my loyalties Captain. I just witnessed the rebellion in its full glory getting shot down in clone wars age technology. I doubt they could afford my services. As for me blabbing my mouth; discretion comes included with payment." Felix had done many jobs he couldn't talk about, mostly because they dealt with shady tactics and cruel punishment. "Speaking of which, I usually don't let people take the goods before they've paid for them. Since this is our first interaction, I'll let it slide. But know this, I'm not above putting a bolt between his eyes if you don't pay for him." In fact he'd done so once. He delivered a criminal to a local official whom had contracted Felix months ago. When the man refused to pay him, Felix drew his pistol and ended the criminals life, making him utterly useless to the official. Needless to say, the official had not invited him back for another job.

"Now, there are no rates per say. Usually when I'm contracted for a job, you tell me the job and the paid amount for it. If I don't like the amount I'll negotiate, if I still don't like it, I'll decline altogether. Overall risk, difficulty, amount of expenditures, and of course time needed to complete the task are all factors in how much a job costs."

Felix began to pace slowly around the room, it made his speech appear more dramatic, but mostly it gave him a better look at his surroundings. "Now for my friend there," the rebel was pulling against the restraints as he came to. His eyes frantically searched the room, trying to figure out how he got here and what exactly 'here' was. "I'm going to give you a discount. Only because I have other things to ask of you. So here it is: 5,000 Imperial Credits, a certain amount of clearance to this facility and others, in case I need to come down here and talk with you personally. You don't need to give me clearance to anything you don't want me to have, but I ask for some amount however small. Lastly, you have some pull around here I'd assume. I want those two storms that came with me to be assigned to me. They proved themselves useful, and I could use some useful grunts. Meet these three conditions and you've got yourself a rebel. If not..." Felix placed his hand near his pistol in a gunslinger fashion. His gaze set right at Loretta as he raised an eyebrow.

The Kingdom of Osterlaind: (I tried to find an eagle with four swords, but I had to do some overlay to get two swords as it was!)

The way you portrayed it is actually better than how I described it. Thanks!

Nice place, Wales. Quite quiet. My dad came from Cardiff, which is why I was interested.

Ah ok. Yeah I definitely liked how quiet it was.

Wales? Which part?

We stayed mostly in a town called Llantwit Fardre, but we toured around Cardiff, St. Fagans museum, the beach at Ogmore, Pen-y-fen, and Caerphilly Castle. So mostly southern Wales.

Yeah, let's start getting tactical people, with regards to IC posts.Me and Dinh can't do this alone. Someone free themselves from their hours of staring at reddit and imgur, and get to work here.

I'm just waiting on the go ahead from Feigling regarding my NS.
Another post made. Thanks Daglobster for the setup.

The ball is now in your court Sep.
The turbo lift hummed as it went ever downward. Felix had ideas about what he was getting into; underground bunker, tough security, this was not your average facility. What exactly they were doing down here was beyond him, but perhaps he'd soon find out.

The door opened with a ding. "Son of a-" Felix jumped back, his heart nearly popping out of his chest. "Some welcome party."

The tall and menacing black figure was standing with four others, two on either side and nearly as dark as he. "You will come with us, bounty hunter," it commanded. If its appearance didnt scare Felix, the voice certainly did the trick. He didn't want to find out what would happen if he disobeyed, so he stepped out of the lift with the rebel over his shoulder and followed closely behind.

The metal clinking of their feet, if you can call them that, was in unison. The four were clearly not human. As for the big one, Felix still couldn't figure it out. Was he a man in a suit, a robot, or both? He even tried asking, but the whatever it was just kept walking, not even turning its head as Felix spoke to him.

He started thinking back to his first jobs. Picking off small time fish in a small time pond for a small time payoff. Things got better with practice, and soon he was taking on the big dogs; cartel leaders, crime syndicate lieutenants, even an assassin once. That instance in particular was especially rough, but he had managed to get through it all the same. It wasn't long after that that he started doing work for various Imperial officials. Putting down a rebel group here, capturing a pirate captain there. Once he started working for the Empire, the paychecks never ceased, and so here he found himself.

He was shaken out of the reminiscing by all manner of sounds coming from the rooms on both sides. The hairs on his back were rising, not that he would let any indication of it be known. He shifted uneasily as the weight of the body seemed to get heavier. Fortunately it wasn't long before they were in the main lab. The five dark figures stopped just inside the doorway, and Felix walked inside amidst the machines, computers, and other assorted things. And there standing towards the back, was whom he suspected was the Captain, blonde and surprisingly beautiful. Felix set the unconscious body down next to him and waited for her to begin.

For a moment I suspected you saw a reference in one of my IC posts I did not intend to put in. Then I came to the conclusion you meant the .gif I posted.

Precisely. Haha

It's all right. You're going to be the first one to see Lorettas new toy anyway.

I am a mixture of excited and afraid at the sound of that.
While we're on the subject of travel; I once went to Wales over in the UK for a week. Beautiful country, nice people, and a lot of history. You can walk inside buildings older than the United States (which I guess is true for many other countries). But overall it was an amazing experience.

By the way Dinh, loving the Game of Thrones reference.
Got a post up. Sorry it took so long Sep, I had meant to get one up sooner. Haha.
