Varus let out a mid morning yawn when the Wolfen wandered up, sneaking up on his vision, but not his ears. So when he finished his yawn and looked down, the sight was... The only words to describe it could be shock and awe.

"You've gott'a be shitting me" He whispered under his breath, standing up just after finishing.

"I heard we were getting somebody new", He gave a shrug. "I can't flaw your ability to make a first impression" He finished with a light smirk.

When Jackdaw passed, he returned the wave briefly, before looking back at the Wolfen.

"Your dossier told me of your antics and while I appreciate a good joke, please save it for once we are on the ship. We are suppose to be professionals after all." He said standing up to his full height. Dusting off his uniform and straightening it to look and proper and official as possible.

By now Dresden made her pass by and once again he returned his wave briefly, a little light bulb growing in his head. "Now while I frown upon antics like this, I think I know somebody who would love them... See that thin girl who looks like a human who just walked by? She absolutely loves jokes and pranks." He finished with a wink. "But first, you should probably get into your bunk. Head inside and take a right down the second door, then take the elevator up to the second floor, take an immediate left and the bunks are there, head to the back of the right wing, you'll see a uniform to signify your bunk."

He made a sit back down and looked back out for the last crewmember, only looking back to the Wolfen to offer a tid-bit of advice. "Oh and if you dress like that in a formal military ordinance again, I will have to reem you publicly." But with that said, he gave a friendly smile and another wink, letting the Wolfen pass to get situated.
The City world of Axon, one of the few places to have well over two hundred races all existing in relative harmony. Of course some people still held their prejudices and when you have over four trillion people spread over the surface of a medium sized world, somebody is bound to dislike somebody else. But as a whole, the planet was a haven for trade, advancement, and celebration. Today was just like any other and it was partly helped by the crew of the Argent Dawn getting some much deserved shore leave. Mostly the crew split up to go and enjoy their time in their own ways, but now the two weeks have come to an end and the call was sent to return to the ship for another voyage out into the dangerous void.

The first to return was a a semi-young reptilian man, Varus, the Captain of the Argent Dawn. Sporting his military uniform he wandered back, relaxed and ready for what the next few months or so would have in store.

The sun was still coming up and the lazy shadow from the ship cast some shade down on the Litharian man, his scales enjoying the cooler temperatures. That was one thing a Litharians had to deal with in City-Worlds, warmer temperatures. As dwellers of colder planets, it was sometimes uncomfortable to deal with the metropolises. Yet that wasn't bound to ruin his day. Instead he took his place in the center of the hanger's ramp, sitting down on the joint where the the ramp would fold up to seal the ship in space.

Since this world had so much travel and traffic coming through, the larger ships had to dock in massive landing fields and use the hanger or vehicle bays to get off ship. So if the crew was to come on board it was going to be past him. And just so, a few crewmembers got an early rise like him and pasted by, exchanging greetings and returning to their bunks, to join the ones who decided to just stay on board the ship.
Well I don't see any reason to not get started now. We don't need to type out a thousands posts in the first two minutes, so let's get a character of two introduced and wait for Gloves to do the same.
OK Then. In that case I guess the crew can come back from some shore leave.

Ren, this also gives you a great chance for your funniness.
I can get behind that, I hadn't thought of a returning crew. Kinda gives a chance for everybody to walk back onto the ship after some shore leave.

Gunner though, I don't want to have you cut out here.
OK, that makes 6 characters in total. That's good enough for me to get a bit of a start going. Now my question, how to begin? You lads got any ideas for how to fire this up? I'm debating between a running start (Start mid mission) or to just have a tiny tour of the ship, getting to know the land and crew and such. Yays or nays?
Licking one's elbow... abnormal, but very impressive. Your set to go.
Looks fine to me, your set and ready.
You sir, went above and beyond the call of duty I asked for with the application. Good work.
I like the character. Seems your set and ready. Want to know anything right about now?
