Ryder didn't know much about what was going on, too many big words or words he didn't know. But with Ren offering Varus to him, he go the idea. He reached down and picked Varus up, cradling him in his arms. With the size difference Varus looked like a small child. He frowned beneath his helmet, after all Varus seemed much more rigid and it was unnatural. "What happen?" He said towards Ren, trying to see what was going on his Varus.
Ryder quick his nudging of Varus' arm, instead his helmet slammed back into place with the same sound and he returned to cracking open the hulk of metal, more carefully this time though. It took a while, but he did it, Varus' armored form was slumped into the seat which was surprisingly intact. Ryder made a few prods at the straps, but his hands were too big. So he turned to Jack and let out another moan.

Varus' body slumped a bit more with the prodding and began to twitch, very gently. He was stirring, but didn't have the energy to say anything or move anywhere.
Ryder took a grip at a large metallic piece and using one of his feet to hold the hulk down. A high screech was let out as the metal warped and bent until it let out an even louder ring and Ryder threw it away.

From within the mass, an armored arm flopped down from where the last piece was torn off of. It wasn't moving, but it came down with a rather jellied motion, much like a ragdoll.

Ryder quit tearing and his helmet slammed open, sounding much like an artillery shell being expunged. He leaned in and nudged the arm with his nose and a metal hand, whining lowly.
Once Jack said that she may have found him, Ryder became ecstatic, literally leaping off the cliff and landing, two metal hands on the scrap heap, the last two, and most on his weight on his feet, making a thundering slam and indenting his feet about 3 inches into the soft ground. He almost immediately began to pry at the hulk, his armored and powered paws, rending metal to crack open the shell.

Hay let his head fall down once again. He knew this was illogical. He was military, even if he wasn't a soldier. He should have not lost his cool like that. And while he still wasn't "cool" he was getting a tad better. And who knows, Ryder has a knack for doing things, they shouldn't be that far behind.
Ryder's head perked up when Jack's little bit of commotion started, taking a few cautious steps. When she called though, that perked his interest. Either she was hurt, trapped, or in trouble, or she found something. He began to briskly walk over on all fours, once he reached the edge he peered over and cocked his head to one side, looking down at the girl.

Hay kept moving forward, but had to say, "Look Six, I'm sorry. I don't mean to be like this, but I don't want to die. I'm a pilot, not some soldier." He said, down trodden but still moving on.
Hay shrugged off Six's arm, "We need to go. We need to get to the colony now." He said in a quick and panicked fashion. "We don't know what's out here." Without saying another thing he began his hobble towards the colony, it was slow, maybe as fast as a brisk walk, but it was as fast as he could go. He didn't care is he was going to catch up to Tearys, he couldn't be out here. Something took out their ship and it would take him out in a moment's notice, if given the chance.

Ryder kept up his search, his metal limbs and guns on his back clanking and grinding as he bound all over, upturning massive hunks of metal, some as big has him. tossing them over to check the undersides.
Ok here is what I can see happening. He can come while the other's are away, But I don't really see Emlyn talking to Varus already. Course, if they meet up he would have no issue doing that. I just don't think it would have happened JUST yet.

Can you agree to my outlandish and generally dictator-ish terms or must we go to war!
Ryder made a quick turn back to Six, half understanding him, but whether he took his words as an OK to leave or if he finally made up his mind, he went to all fours and began to bound after Rennac and Jack. IN a few seconds he cleared the few hundred feet gap and was with the two. He let out a low moan, a hybrid between a dog's whine and a whale's call, then he began to help search the area, following no pattern or semblance of order.

Hay on the other hand looked back at Six with an incredulous look, turning back to Ryder quickly as he bound off. "No don't go, we need to stick together!" He said in a rather panicked fashion. Ryder was the one person who could carry him and he was the most likely to protect him. He was huge and had his tail, and armor, and really big guns. With him gone, Hay couldn't help but fret for his life.
Hay started to hobble after Six, it was slow, but he was at least moving. The pain was still present though. The shot had dulled it greatly, but he knew that he'd be in agony in a few hours time.

Ryder began to follow close behind Hay, but he couldn't help but look behind him after ever few steps. His loyalty was unrivaled and Varus was one of the first people to show him kindness. He didn't know many things, but a loyalty was something he prided himself on being more solid than stone. He slowed his walk and turned around, flitting between Jack and Six. He knew he had to help Hay, but ever muscle in his body was telling him to find Varus.

Hay took notice when he stopped, "Hey, what's wrong. We need to keep moving, come on."
Hay let his head down. He knew he was out ranked and his idea was more for his safety than a tactically sound one. Hell, he hadn't even seen the planet's layout to be honest, but with all this fighting, his voice was out, but something had to be done.

Ryder meanwhile, being a simpler man, wandered off a bit farther, still looking and glancing for anything, and when he looked over a second hill, he let out another moaning sound, like a louder whale's call. Pointing over the hill at the colony. It wasn't too far away, maybe a mile or two and they knew where it was. Still no sign of Varus though.
