Bio

Hello I’m Fur-Fox an aspiring artist/animator/storyteller. I’m pretty much your average nerd that likes anime, cartoons, gaming and reading haha. Right now I’m a big fan of MHA, VLD and MP100 and I’m a sucker for anything Pokémon or Nintendo in general.

When it comes to roleplaying, I don’t really have a particular taste per say. I could get behind anything from a roleplay set in a high fantasy world with a complex magic system and deep lore to a story about everyday life. I do tend to favour creative and inticing worlds or scenarios for roleplaying though. My favourite part about roleplaying is interacting with other people in the cast, so I’ll of course be smitten for anything that’s character driven.

@FurFox This might seem a little nitpicky, but I would kind of prefer that you not include the Enuri in your background. Due to the Enuri's isolationist tendencies, they would have settled quite far away from the town and teleporting that distance would be lethal, especially for a child. Apart from that, however, I think your character seems pretty alright.

@TaliPaendrag Sorry about that! I changed the enuri to a human healer instead. Would it be find to put her in the character’s tab now?
I hope everything is okay!

Aiden Cross

After he witnessed the club president showcase his abilities, Aiden was no doubt intrigued. The mere thought of everyone in this room possessing some sort of mystical power baffled him. Although many of the things Saito had said did worry worry him, Aiden was honestly mostly looking forward to seeing what power he and everyone else would get.

He looked around the room to see if anyone was going to go up and collect their talisman first. When no one seemed to move, Aiden raised from his seat before being interrupted half way by a girl who got up a second before him. He was left in an awkward air chair position then slumped back comfortably into his seat. Despite his eagerness, he stayed seated and waited his turn. While tapping his foot in anticipation he watched the pretty girl with raven hair find and use her talisman. When the girl activated her powers he watched in amazement as the azure flames emerged from her hand. He still couldn’t wrap his head around all this. He found himself so caught up staring at how the flames swayed that he forgot to get his own talisman. Another girl with a smile as pure as gold got up and got a talisman before him. Aiden once again waited.

When she was done, Aiden shot up from his chair, making sure no one got up before him and bounded towards the stack of talisman. His talisman sat at the top of the pile waiting for him to collect it. He picked it up and flipped it over. His eyes eagerly skimmed the text:

Long ago, the daughter of an onmyoji alchemist carried on her deceased father’s legacy by drinking a brew she received from him. The brew gave her the ability to alter the characteristics and properties of inanimate objects that she touches. Her descendants were called the onmyodo family and were thought of as superior beings thanks to the extrordiary power of their ability that passed through generations. However, the further down the genetic line you go the less common it became to have this power in your blood. Nowadays almost all of the onmyodo no longer possess this power and those who do usually don’t realise it.

He guessed his ablility had something to do with altering things. Aiden grabbed a pin and winced as it pierced his finger’s skin. He followed Saito’s instructions and placed the talisman on his chest using the pierced finger. A foreshock shivered through his body before an electrifying sensation jolted through where the talisman was pressed to his chest. The feeling waxed and each jolt traveled further and further. It felt like a bad itch that you just couldn’t scratch. Aiden found himself slightly shaking when the itch turned to a light burn. His heart beat increased as the shocks grew in power. He took in a shallow breath and was about to break a sweat until it was suddenly over.

Aside from the lingering tingling feeling, he felt no different. Just severely discomforted. He looked down at his free hand and everything seemed normal there. He still the same five fingers and palm. Confusion swept over Aiden. Wasn’t this supposed to be more eventful? Why hasn’t he felt anything? He removed the talisman and put it in his free left hand to examine it. Once the talisman and his left hand made contact, the talisman suddenly became nearly as heavy as a brick. “Woah!” Aiden exclaimed as he nearly dropped the talisman. He readjusted his handling to accumulate the extra weight. Aiden furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and pursed his lips. “What’s going on... Did I do that?” He raised his eyebrows and stared at the talisman with glossy bewilderment as his lips parted slightly. He did that.

Aiden idly nibbled on the brownies while he waited for the meeting to start. Thoughts swayed in and out of his head as he tried to follow the small converses around him. He glanced around the room to take everything in and wondered what the club was about. He sure hoped they didn’t actually have to hunt animals. Something like that would be near impossible to do for an animal lover.

Eventually the supposed club learder got up and started to spew words about hunting ‘Spirited Away’ and ‘abilities’ that honestly made no sense. At first, Aiden was surprised to learn that he wasn’t crazy and other people saw the things he did but Saito quickly lost him after that. What in the world did he mean when he said that we were recruited because of our abilities? What abilities? Why should Aiden trust this guy? For all he knew, this could be some sort of elaborate prank.

Two girls spoke out some of their concerns and questions. Aiden nodded in agreement. “Yeah, and how do we know what you’re saying is true?” He inquired with a raised eyebrow.
This seems really interesting! Can I start making my character for this?

Today was a brand new school year, at a different school, in a completely different country. See Aiden hasn’t attended school in Japan since kindergarten. So his only knowledge on Japanese schools derive from jdramas, anime and stories his mother told him when he visited during Summers. Most people make sure they are completely prepared for days like this. But not Aiden. In fact, he completely forgot today was his first day of school. He arrived at school at an ungodly hour and received an excruciatingly long lecture from a teacher about Himikai Academy’s student expectations. Luckily He got let of the loose since it was his first day and his stunt helped him make a few new friends.

The school bell rang and Aiden began to pack his things to go home. However an announcement reminded him that he still had something to do. Attend the Hunters Club. Aiden briskly made his way to the club room and smiled at the blinding colourful handmade sign he was greeted by. He loved it when people put time and effort into creating something. Even if the creation was... well... damaging to your retinas.

Aiden opened the door gave the people inside a toothy grin. “Pleased to meet you everyone! My name is-” a sweet sensation shot his nose. His eyes widened as he noticed the container. “Brownies!” he dashed to the table at record speed and scooped up a brownie without hesitation. When the piece of chocolate goodness entered his mouth, he swooned in delight. “What the heck, how can food taste like heaven?” He said in ecstasy before realising he forgot to introduce himself. “By the my name is Aiden, Aiden Cross.”
Tell me what you think about my character. I’ll probably update this with a picture later on.

I’m new to role playing but this seems really interesting! I’m exited to see how it turns out :D
