They have. But the human who live with them have adapted to their lands. Some humans have tried to kill off the dragons, but have failed as many human and sentient dragons have stopped them. Same goes for the dragons that have tried to wipe out the humans as well.

I mean, I wouldn’t say that. The elders are powerful enough that the ecosystem around them changes to their respective elements.
