Application for my second character:

My Hider

Username: Gambit | Character Name: Lino Frederick | Character Age: 16 | Character Gender: Male | Character Grade: 10th

Appearance: Lino hasBlueish black spiky neck length hair, bright blue eyes, a bit of freckles across his nose and cheeks. He usually wears ordinary t-shirts and jeans, but when it is cold out he wears a long gray coat. He is 5'6 tall and weighs about 120.

Personality: Lino is very sharp and calculating. He likes to show off, but doesn't really like to share much about himself until he knows someone really well. Like his sister, when upset or frustrated he acts as though he is angry, but when he is actually angry he becomes cold. Lino also hates failing at anything, and will quickly get frustrated if he can't figure out a solution to whatever problem he is facing.

Biography: He is Bella's older brother, and lived an average life with his family in New Hampshire as a high achieving student. He was a musician, and was highly skilled at the piano and guitar. Just before his 16th birthday though, he got mixed up in the wrong crowd, attracted to the thrill of a more dangerous, exciting life. He became a thief, helping his group steal valuable objects from various businesses and homes. When Lino noticed his parents getting suspicious he decided to run away and hide out with his new friends in the city.

But one day the police raided the abandoned building where they were staying at. Lino was one of the kids caught and arrested, but he managed to get away as he was being transported to the police station. He found his way to the shipyard, deciding that he would rather try to start a new life in another country than live as a criminal or face his parents after all he'd done. Remembering a tip from one of his close friends that his sister was being sent to a school in Paris, he decided to sneak aboard a ship heading for France. He felt guilty about all the trouble he had caused her, but maybe now he could somehow make it up to her.

"Maybe, unless he was never trapped there in the first place," Bella said, frowning slightly. "This whole thing doesn't make much sense though. Why would he just be here? Around all these other people?" She went back to eating her breakfast, trying to think everything through, but couldn't come up with anything that would make things clearer. They needed to find out more information. She wondered if there was a way she could talk to the kid.

Suddenly Bella heard a bunch of coughing. She glanced back up to see the kid hurrying onto his feet. Bella noticed that his eyes were on her before he turned and rushed away. What in the world is that about?

Bella walked into the cafeteria, which was so loud with everyone chatting after hearing that classes were cancelled that she could barely hear. She grabbed a plate of food from the counter and glanced around for a place to sit. Bella noticed Josive over at one table. She wasn't sure if he was still in a weird mood or not, but there was no one else that she recognized so she decided to just join him rather than eating alone. "Hey Josive," she said, setting down her breakfast at the table. "I'm guessing you heard the announcement? Wonder what that questioning is about."

Bella happened to glance over at the table next to theirs and noticed the kid she had accidentally run into yesterday, although technically she supposed that never actually happened due to the weird time jump. But next to him was a kid who looked oddly familiar. Wait, he was in one of the photos on the computer wasn't he? she thought. "Hey!" She whispered to Josive. "That's the missing kid right?"
