Gio stood up and stretched his arms "hey i have something i need to take care of at the squad one barrack. You're welcome to join me if you would like" Gio started toward the squad one barrack. He planned on asking to be deployed on a mission of sorts for the sake of experience. as a way to prove himself before he took the Head Captains exam later on. It would also be a good opportunity for Shusuke if he chose to tag along but at the moment Gio couldn't wait for him though. To the head captain he went

"Yea, I'd like that, get some experience under my belt. Hope I don't get recruited into your sqaud." he said laughingly. "Not that there's anything wrong with it I mean." he said, now with a straight face. "I'll just go with you and see how it goes." said Shusuke.

Gio sensed that someone else was in the captain commanders office so he decided to wait outside the door. Giovanni never would have guessed that the head captain would get so many visitors.if he was being honest he thought he was the only one that would be bothering the head captain so frequently. But that was because the man ran his unit. He Expected all the other squads to be run by their captains. but then he remembered how many captains were actually missing.

Shusuke had to get his act together if he was going to be around higher ranking soul reapers so he did his best to shake the booze and stand patiently behind Giovanni."I wonder what kind of task they could have for us, as unseated and untested shinigami, I can't imagine anything too crazy." he thought to himself.

"That's a good question." he said, now rubbing his fuzzy chin inquisitively. "I would like to think that I could at least get below the 15th seat or higher in a years time. My zanpakuto share a strong bond which I think is key to reaching higher and higher. Who knows though, only time will tell." he said, now finishing his cup of sake. "Perhaps things will turn out vastly different though, I could excel and beat my estimated goal or maybe I'll pale in comparison to my squad mates, guess we'll just have to see." he said with an honest smile,

Shusuke watched as people walked passed, the wind would blow from time to time and a handful of blossoms would flutter around. "I understand completely Gio." he said, taking note of his words. "I wonder how high we can go." he said, staring at the tree. He quickly added so as to not imply climbing the tree. "Once we're placed in our squad, once we've had the chance to make a name for ourselves. Do you ever think of stuff like that?" he asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

Gio smiled as he listened. "you can call me Giovanni, or Gio just not mr. Cain. that just sounds so weird." he drank from his cup "I actually from one ofthe richer sections. that shinigami pass through often. I got to meet a lot of them and i guess i kind of looked up to them" he pour himself another cup. "I guess enlightenment is a good thing to seek after. My parents didnt want me to become a shinigami actually but I wasnt about to stay home and be miserable dreaming about all the things i could have been. "

Shusuke gave a head nod and the 'ah' gesture, "So Gio, that's a cool name. Sorry about the Mr Cain thing, I can be a little off from time to time. At least I didn't call you butter cup or something." he said, laughing somewhat loudly. "I can respect your life though, you had more than most but wanted to make something for yourself, carve your own path. I like it." he said, now pouring another cup as well. Shusuke was pleased to have met someone who was down to earth, even if he likely met him a dozen times already during the academy. He then giggled for what seemed to be no reason.

Gio took a seat on the stone bench once the arrived adjusting his shikahksho, shusukes charisma was bubbling, almost infectious. Almost. Giovannis tolerance was well enough to enable him to savor the flavor without him having to worry about falling on his ass drunk.He looked around, watching the cherry blossoms fall. "where are you from shusuke?" he asked in attempt to make small talk while they shared a drink? it would be rude to drink silently in the company of others. considering that Shusuke was already buzzed so this was looking to be an even more interesting conversation.

OOC: Forgive me but I don't know names of areas where people can be from other than the rukon district.

Shusuke listened to his new found friend while he poured a cup for each of them. "I'm from a little place in the Seiretei where no one is too poor, no one is too rich. It's a very balanced inner society there." he said, now sipping his cup and looking at the falling blossoms. "My parents just knew that there was a better life out there for me, more than balance but-" he struggled to find the word, "-enlightenment?" he asked, not sure if that was what he meant. It was difficult for him to express himself on the matter, as he clearly had more than those from the Rukon district and didn't want to take what he had for granted. This of course doesn't mean that even a king can't strive for more power, for more respect. "What about you?" he asked, now realizing a more important question. "And what am I to call you?"
