Personality: Janine can be said to be who or what she needs to fit the situation when dealing with most people. Those that know her better would tell you she is often far more intelligent and calculating than her age or demeanor might let on due to her upbringing. The girl looks out for number one at all times making sure she is ahead of the game when possible or on the way up using any means necessary even if that entails helping others. It is rare she forms any real connections to the people however during and after her first year there are a couple other students who she can comfortably call friends, an unusual occurrence to be sure. By nature she is a very social person enjoying time in the spotlight determined to maintain appearances by charming and flattering her way through the day. Under the normal guise is intense ambition, focus, and need have everything organized her way exactly as she wants with hesitation about making it so personally.
Biography: Janine was born as the younger sibling alongside her sister Cecilia to a famous and rich politician of Prydain father, one Conroy Alrya, and his gossip queen of a wife, Elaina Alrya, who owned multiple extremely successful businesses in Maefeld. The two sisters wanted for nothing and were both extremely happy during the younger years often on display to the rest of high society as two perfect gems, which served to benefit both parents as they slowly taught their daughters more about the political and social game as time went on. The parents had planned early on that they wanted the twins to succeed them but they weren't satisfied with just success wanting the girls to eventually be able to beat them at the wider game. Young Cecilia and Janine learned more quickly than either parent could have hoped for often working as a pair to make sure each other did well though plenty capable at charming a room solo. The girls took to education of all kinds extremely well wanting nothing more than to learn of new opportunities for them to excel at, it was quite a competition between the two but far more friendly than most would think seeing them now, and just the prospect that there was something they didn't know interested them. Janine and her sister have gone down slightly different paths since the latter graduated leaving the younger sibling to her own devices giving free reign for her to takeover as necessary. Occasionally she has wondered what a more normal life would be like, not being the near perfect mix of both her parents and what they want, but she finds she is more than happy to work her way to better than just that. As for getting into St. Fortuna's it as the least her parents could have done to throw her into the most prestigious school to watch her rise above the rest and her first year was a good one but she plans to make this next one even better with all of her power and will.
Likes: Chatting, clothes, jewelry, being the center of attention, control, winning at all costs, learning, using her power, cats/kittens.
Dislikes: Useless competition, idiots, spiders, being alone, obnoxious people, no ambition, headaches, stress.
Points: 10
Proficiency: 4
Intelligence: 4
Athletics: 2
Misc: Janine owns a matching pendant to her sister's with pictures of her and their parents.

Tank kept moving through the alleyway navigating to get ever closer to the bank while having an eye out for any spare officers should they be patrolling. He had been fairly focused on the task at hand right up until he heard the first couple pops of fireworks causing him to make a quick stop to see just what was going on. From his position he could barely see the flashing lights but hearing the voice he knew well enough who this particular Variant was and though he didn't much care for the thief the man man one hell of a distraction for the crowds/cops. Would've been a shame if the guy got himself hurt in the process since he seemed to be on the better side this time around but not much could be done from here to help out even if the big guy wanted to. He shrugged and headed toward an intersection of sorts realizing he had even less time now with a show boater amidst them.
Girard hadn't been looking down when he felt a light bump against him earning his gaze as he watched a smaller man cover up what looked like a prosthetic on his arm under one of two gloves after seeming startled. Couldn't exactly blame him since it wasn't often you end up walking into someone like Tank on the streets or elsewhere, let alone outside of an active robbery. Once the man composed himself he guessed the right name and revealed who he was which was a nice relief to the big man since he was another vigilante. "Yeah that's me and your not kidding this is definitely more than a one person job with all the PD presence." Tank said looking down further and saw the same stray from before it clicking that something was definitely up but it didn't seem bad. "Whos your friend there?" He asked motioning for them to keep moving towards the building as they talked. The presence of one or possibly more other crime fighters eased the mind as dealing with this was not going to be so simple as usual and there was large margin for shit to hit the fan with or without them.
It was this same thought that had been running through Girard's head as he surveyed the police line as well as the crowd behind it. He stood just inside one of the alleyways within eye shot of the whole debacle in his vigilante getup though he had his face mask up for the time being while he was alone. The plan in his mind was of course to be inside of that bank to get himself in between the robbers and the hostages but that was easier said than done with all of the cop presence surrounding the place. By the state everything was in he could tell things were not going well just by how nervous some of the officers were let alone the regular people watching to see just what was going to happen, the atmosphere was not a pleasant one nor would it continue to be if no one intervened beyond the police. From what he had seen in recent years they just couldn't manage all of this anymore which is why he did his nighttime escapades in an effort to put as many of the criminals in their place as he could which is what he had been planning to do before this whole mess.
The big man got his mask back on and maneuvered his way further up though the alley to get closer overall to the bank trying to get an idea of where the baddies on the inside were. If he knew that much positioning himself to get at them would be simpler as he could easily strike or go through a wall to get a jump on the offenders. There was little chance he could just sneak into the place with all the attention surrounding the bank, not to mention his powers left him about as subtle as a wrecking ball unless he could set up ahead of time. He looked up at the helicopters moving overhead cursing them in his mind as getting around was made much more difficult when the cops had air support especially for someone as well know to them as Tank. The big guy sighed figuring he was going to have to get some distance and loop back around to get near any of the adjoining alleyway that could get him next to the bank noting another helicopter as well as a large feather that landed smack dab on the front of his helmet. He really hoped it was just a big seagull or something and pushed it out of his mind for the moment as his phone vibrated prompting him to have a quick look.
The screen flashed up a certain Kit Kat's live stream for all there was of it which got a chuckle out of Girard before he turned it off and placed it back into his pocket. ~Wouldn't miss this for the world.~ He thought knowing there was no place he would rather be than ready and able to help the people of New Haven regardless of the risk. Sure he wasn't exactly on the legal side of things but he felt as if this was the only way he was going to get anything done while keeping himself out of the spotlight. The big guy wasn't the type to grandstand preferring to get it done and over with so he could enjoy the feeling of having done some good. Unlike the usual though he was going to end up more out in the open tonight with the public which had him glance out at the crowd again though he noticed something else that hadn't occurred before. Why in the hell was there a stray dog running around in all of this commotion and what was it doing here? It really was strange and it seemed focused on one guy in particular if he saw right but now wasn't exactly the time to question every strange thing he saw, he had to get himself over to that bank before shit hit the fan.
The big man got some distance from where the cop's perimeter would be and checked to see how attentive the cops were on the particular street he needed to cross. Honestly they seemed far more concerned with what was going on behind them than their post so he quickly jogged across the gap while he had the chance. It occurred to him that he may or may not have been the only vigilante, or active one at least, on the site but he couldn't see any telltale signs of one of the others hanging around, not that he had seen many in the first place. If they were watching he had just been particularly visible a moment ago though he hoped if anything he could keep the attention off of them once this started rolling, better to have the shots coming at him than anyone else.

Just below the streets of the ongoing bank robbery one very cranky Variant was awake and not happy about it in the slightest not to mention hungrier for it. Donovan McMillian was sat up against a cement wall rubbing his temples because the sirens and alarms above were giving him the biggest headache ever since some idiots decided to rob a bank where he had previously been sleeping. He decided to had a couple of his smallest worms get up to street level so he could see why in the hell the assholes in blue hadn't moved on yet. Truth be told he knew why already, most of them were so incompetent that vigilantes had to become a thing to maintain some form of order in this city. Of course they could always find time to go harassing people like him powered or not because what else better did they have to do eh? Not like there were actual problems to solve around the city like the crime rate or people treating Variants like animals. No not at all.
Abomination closed his eyes and allowed himself to see through his tiny symbiotes above, one meant to stay outside on the street to track progress of the 'law enforcement' while the other one snuck itself under the door of the bank to let him see what was going on there. He gave a little more guidance to the one inside having it climb up on one of the walls to get a better view, far better than a fly on the wall in this case and almost impossible to see from any sort of distance. This was far more involved than he usually got with most of the major crime far preferring to pick off weak groups on the regular to get himself some money or food. After all the day to day was far more concerning to him than some rich prick's bank account because he was a scavenger at the best of times and stole from criminals at worst. Not like they really needed it, prison gave three square meals anyways and plenty of like minded idiots to beat up or otherwise.
Admittedly Donovan didn't want to see the hostages get hurt but he was in a bad mood and in no hurry to move so he would sit this one out. Not to mention showing his face would probably trigger a manhunt for him in the tunnels/surrounding area once they were done dealing with the robbery. So staying where he was and observing was a win-win which was more than pleasing to the agitated man though if any of them tried to escape down his way letting off a bit of steam never hurt he supposed. ~Showtime.~He thought settling himself in for whatever might happen in the meantime.
Girard stands at 6'8" and weighs well over 400lbs thanks to his power. He tends to wear whatever is comfortable normally whether it be short sleeves and jeans or some other combo. When he becomes Tank a dark green bomber jacket, a black shirt underneath, with grey camo pants are his preference, tough/comfortable and plenty of storage, including a large military helmet with a face cover.
Personality: Girard appears to be a rather friendly guy mostly carefree though is serious when necessary. He will talk to anyone who will listen provided he has something to say or will listen to anyone if the subject is good. He tends to be careful and relatively peaceful but he is no gentle giant and if someone starts something it won't take him long to step in and give them what they have coming while not killing them in the process. He is far more concerned with other people than himself trying to help out where he can with a smile on his face mostly because he can. He is more than willing to work with other vigilantes though his forward and aggressive style doesn't always mesh. He might have looked up to heroes at one point but to him its people like him and others who are willing to go further that really keep the criminals on edge. The big man is extremely careful about his powers at most times acting as if he were walking on eggshells through his daily life up until he changes to Tank were he puts it to work though even then he hesitates to use a great deal of his power.
Criminals are one of the few things that Girard detests and cleaning up the city one gang at a time is his way of dealing with it. He doesn't always expect much out of them but he fully expects them to try and surprise crime fighters so he values patience for keeping him out of trouble. For him there are no restrictions on what kind of activity to stop though some warrant less force than others which he is keenly aware of. Despite his approach to the bad element serious collateral damage is something he avoids whenever possible, no need to make it harder on the people and families who live in the city like him. He intends to protect and clean up the city to make it better for him, his family, and every good hearted person left in it.
Girard is normally a happy and calm person but even he can be pushed to his limit and he tends to let loose on whoever managed to break through to him though it takes something severely bad or extremely personal to cause him to get into such a state. Pity to the person who brings out the beast because he is very unlikely to stop until he deals with them.
Notoriety: Unknown(Girard), Wanted(Tank). Class/Level: Class 1, Level Red.
Powers/Abilities: Supernaturally dense tissue resulting in a myriad of side effects many of which Girard does his best to control, suppress, or hide.
Enhanced strength and stamina- Tank's condition could be easily confused with super strength as he is usually on par with most of said individuals on the mid-to-high range scale and his stamina allows him to make the best use of it while simultaneously balancing out his body mass/weight most of the time. He honestly doesn't know the upper limit to either of these and is rarely in control of himself when they could be gauged but he does have one for certain.
Extreme physical durability and increased weight- Tank can be said to be nigh on invulnerable to most conventional weaponry and physical forces as his body is either too thick/hard to crack or disperses force so well that has next to no effect on him at most times. This more or less allows him to act as his namesake, not to mention a wrecking ball, shrugging off incredible amounts of punishment while using his strength to return the favor to his opponents. Its entirely possible to harm him by other means like electricity, poison, or mental powers to name a few. While his weight slows him down and causes him plenty of environmental problems, when he isn't being careful, it also gives him one hell of a momentum once he gets moving, one which he can end up at the mercy of.
Other Skills: Girard is very good at noting structural integrity of a building and knows where and what walls or bits can be messed with to cause different effects. Like non load-bearing walls which he usually uses if he has to make a noisy entrance or the good old main support beam if he absolutely has to bring it down quickly. His job has also given him some experience with the use and makeup of explosives of which he uses some small homemade ones occasionally when out crime-fighting.
Equipment: His getup and the occasional explosive, small or bigger depending on the need. Otherwise he has been known to improvise a weapon out of his environment.
Bio: Girard's parents met at a local diner, Morning Glory, in the city and had a few arguments before they really got talking but it was uphill from there and the two have been inseparable since. They managed to carve out a nice life by the time their first son was born and they were amazed when he was. While Girard wouldn't have fully developed powers until he was well into his teens they had an impact on his size from day one. He had a rather good life never much to complain about, his father also being quite a big guy and a noted temper with troublemakers, warding off plenty of trouble with his siblings only making it better. If his parents weren't there he was looking after them and would continue to do so through his life seeing his family as the most important thing he had. His parents actually bought the diner and it did good for a while but continually less people came when some local gang members started targeting it driving people away as well as making life harder for the family. Girard now with some years under his belt found out most of them were around his age and being the guy he was intervened once roughing a couple of them up in the process to which they stopped coming for a bit but it wouldn't last.
The leader had taken particular offense to it, his cousin having taken a beating in the intervention, came back and put several shots through the diner's front hitting a couple patrons as well as his brother also grazing his sister who was nearby. It was one of the few moments Girard couldn't recall because he rushed out after them in a rage having no intention of them getting away. He probably should have know it would be a trap but there was little to no thinking at the time in his mind when he walked into an opening in-between finding seven vengeful gangers though only the leader had a gun. Girard admits he remembers very little of what happened but it ended very badly for the seven who tried with everything they had to bring him down only to find they couldn't because he was shrugging off pipes, chains, hell even the leader's pistol barely left a mark on him with repeated shots. Most of the aggressors were on death's door before some semblance of control came back to the big man which horrified him. After he reined himself in he got out of there to go and check on his family who were glad to see him alive after his pursuit. It was part of the reason he would later become Tank but for some years it calmed down and law enforcement never caught on to what Girard did because of a lack of witnesses and the silence from the now imprisoned gangers who either were planning an eventual comeback or scared shitless by the semi some of them thought they got hit by and had no want to go anywhere near him again.
His brother and sister recovered, his brother lost some range of motion in his left arm but he lived, but thing got back to being more normal if not more close between the family. It had occurred more than ever that Girard was something special and they told him that it was his choice how to handle his 'gift'. Of course he did his best to conceal if not so much hide it for a time not sure what to do but he would eventually seeing more and worse crimes as he got older. He couldn't let the horror that happened to his family just go on or show up else where especially not after one of his best friends nearly got mugged among other continued attempts on people he cared about or around him. Since then he has done his best to keep a good balance between being him and being Tank who is far less forgiving than him and has put more than a little fear into the cities criminal population. His efforts haven't been appreciated by all, particularly the government who would much rather have their own doing what he does, but he won't stop on that account. He hopes at one point or another that some of the other vigilantes and like minded variants might get together to tackle some of the bigger problems which would be the highlight of his day.
Name: Donovan McMillian. Alias: Abomination is the one he hears the most. Age: 26. Gender: Male. Appearance:
Don stands at about 6ft and looks to be on the thin side only weighing in at about 160lbs counting only his own weight. His eyes faintly glow a pale green in low light as well as his veins on close inspection and he is quite pale from his time spent underground. There are some rather large pore like holes in his lower back which he prefers not to talk about and likely won't when pressed.
Occupation: None, unless you consider stealing or scavenging a job. Family: His worms are the closest thing after he was disowned.
Personality: Donovan tends to be a very cold and detached person to strangers though he warms up enough to ease victims of the criminals he deals with. Trust is not a well used part of his vocabulary nor is charity so the guy tends to do everything himself and has no qualms if it keeps him breathing for another day provided it doesn't cause too much trouble for other people but he doesn't believe for a second anyone would stick a neck out and do the same for him. He is very much the cynic and sarcastic to boot when he actually decides to involve himself with other people which has been more common recently but not something he entirely enjoys, it being far simpler to stay out of sight and mind.
However, if there is one thing he particularly hates it would be NOVA's pet attack dogs who have been sent to hunt people like him down several times before. To him the fact that Variants could allow themselves to be used like they are, not to mention the fact they don't seem opposed to it frustrates Don to no end. As for the rest of the powered community he tends to stay on neutral terms if possible though he has squared off with a few in the past. His overall tendency to stay out of the way and well hidden helps with this as far as hes concerned, not to mention when the visitors are looking for trouble. He has a soft spot for other Varients in his position, most of whom he figures are in even worse straits than him, and has been known to give them a place to rest in one of the safe spots he knows of to make things a bit easier.
Notoriety: Wanted. Class/Level: Class 6, Level Red.
Powers/Abilities: Donovan is host to and controls about one hundred worm creatures which are quite ravenous, not to mention with a wide variety of poisons, toxins, and venom flowing through them. It has caused some large scale changes to his body to compensate though some are his own doing. Needless to say his symbiotes are excellent at digging but their jaws are filled to the brim with teeth capable of ripping through most animals, including humans, with ease though most are fairly small requiring them to mass to cause extensive damage. There are few that measure more than foot and a half long with the largest and oldest being three feet long, Don named him Anthrax as a bit of a joke and it stuck, while being shockingly intelligent as they seem to grow older due to connection with Donovan.
Enhanced metabolism and immune system- Don has been "blessed" with an appetite that could probably hold over three to four people give or take and his body is capable of breaking down said food/liquids extremely fast. In fact it happens to quickly and efficiently most harmful substances have no time to cause damage before they are digested, those that do however find a gauntlet of an immune system backing it up attacking all harmful invaders immediately or assimilating them to prevent further problems from that specific organism/material. This effectively allows him to heal faster as well since his body runs so much quicker than an average person but he is only marginally tougher to injure than one. His symbiosis with the worms gave another perk in the form of total immunity to most poisons, toxins and venom though the only reason he is vulnerable to some is that his body hasn't been exposed to it yet.
Rapid evolution and adaption- This facet is often what allows him to survive in the elements. His body tends to instinctively adjust to the surrounding temperature and environment though it is usually internal like thickening of tissue in the winter for insulation. Those changes tend to be quite small requiring little energy expenditure but something like growth of regenerating chitin spines on an arm or storage glands, which Don finds extremely useful, takes much more effort and energy. The largest limitation of this particular point is how much available food there is to allow for the changes which is the major reason Donovan hasn't done more potent ones.
Hive mind telepathy and control of the worms- Part of the symbiosis Don has with the worms is due to telepathy between him and all of them at once which at first confused him trying to sort which thought were his own among the wave of information. Over time he has found it allows him precision control of individuals and even lets him see what they see allowing him to know what better is going on around him. The most interesting side effect so far with this is his ability to send short messages to other people around him with it, though it has to be a simple sentence or it puts a lot of strain on his mind where his symbiotes don't. His control of the worms allows him to determine which changes and adaptations they do or don't get drawing from the same energy pool for himself. Between this and his adaptations Donovan has figured out how to develop a tremor sense for himself allowing him to feel vibrations around him and know the where and what of objects or people around him. A downside is if he decides to focus specifically on it his normal vision tends to get screwy for a bit afterwards.
Other Skills: If there is one man who knows the city's underground like the back of his hand, Don is definitely it, because he can get you damn near anywhere in the city via the various tunnels/passages underneath the streets. He is a good ear to the ground being able to pass for some random homeless guy or listening from below the streets and buildings where he tends to pick up useful information. Is quite good at enacting and detecting ambushes due to his powers but also years of practice using the very same tactic.
Equipment: None.
Bio: Donovan was born an only child to his parents and while it doesn't seem like it now his life wasn't bad at that time. They hadn't exactly been ready for him when he was born and ended up sacrificing a lot to keep him cared for but in that time they wouldn't have done it any other way. He made it easy for them too being cheerful and not needing much to keep entertained, just them being around usually. It was a good thing too since for awhile there wasn't much to go around and went hungry a couple of times if either parent's work dried up. As time went on the situation improved when the father got a government job of interviewing Variants who came in and it paid fairly well. It took up a fair bit of time away from his family but he was known as a compassionate but impartial man in most cases putting more stock in the person than the power which prevented some bad eggs from getting farther up the chain as well as letting some through who otherwise wouldn't have passed because he saw the good in them. It wasn't a popular position among his coworkers but he had less of an issue with powered people then most of them but didn't prevent him from doing his job well.
Don became a more competitive boy as he got older finding sports to his liking with the atmosphere but also science finding it equally interesting because he enjoyed how much there was to wrap his head around. He was particularly fond of running and swimming which both parents encouraged because he seemed to really enjoy it, not to mention it kept him healthy which was a concern as money for a doctor was short at the best of times. His mother ended up as a police officer during this time as more Variants were starting to pop up in the same area which wasn't too much of an issue at first but became worst as time went on. Unknown to the family his own powers were slowly beginning to creep out starting with notably his appetite getting larger which since he was still growing wasn't so surprising but the rate which it kept going was hinting at something more. Both parents tried to figure out if it was medical or not first without resorting to a doctor but he seemed perfectly healthy just hungrier than usual. There wasn't much spare time to check in on it as they're jobs were requiring more time as crime rates went up and over time his mother became more and more bitter with the powered population seeing casualties on the force as well as civilians in the face of the higher classed Variants. This had also begun effecting the father who was having more trouble distinguishing who could be trusted or not among the applicants not to mention how upset it had been making his wife colored his perception.
Donovan's worms had started appearing around the house some time later often trying to get access to food or just moving about, a couple had even killed a mouse in the kitchen while his father was home causing him to crush and kill most of them. This had actually caused his son some pain as every time the worms were threatened they ran back to him or his room and he had come to like them despite all the confusion they caused more or less because they were a part of him. He was still their son but eventually neither parent wanted anything to do with him and they tried to turn him in to NOVA to get rid of him. Needless to say Don felt extremely betrayed which led him to outright refuse to go along with that decision to which they tried to force him. Anthrax though not nearly the size he currently is retaliated alongside some of the more aggressive worms and gave their host enough time to get out before what was left of them followed suit. That was ten years earlier and Donovan has stopped acknowledging them as anything since almost never using his last name.
The boy then and man now have worked to survive living with no home or anyone to rely on but themselves which got easier as time passed. However, as much as Don sometimes wants to he cannot deny the fact he hates seeing other people get hurt so he helps where he can attacking and stealing from local criminals benefiting himself in the process. There are other like him wandering the tunnels or streets, more now than then, which makes him feel less alone in a way as he knows of a few small groups doing much what he does barring the helping normals part as the rest of them don't much care for them anymore. Donovan has done his best to help out when it suited him as well as dodge the police/government workers hunting for people like him and has seen other Variants living more normal lives get their hands dirty to help clean up the streets which he respects but has yet to contact or work with any of them directly. Though he is more and more considering the idea recently but it would still take some convincing if they even bother to ask.
