Hank, I think that's an excellent idea. Certainly humans are not callous monsters (even though some faery might claim they are). Many will be moved by the plight of the fae and organizations both secret and open will no doubt exist to fight for faery rights. You'll need to work on motivation since you are not a hybrid, but I can think of numerous interesting possibilities ranging from being raised by fae to having lost a faery lover to the Iron Police to being a guilt-plagued ex-officer yourself.

Also, how in the heck did you manage to get yourself an avatar?? I feel naked over here XD

@All I added a hider topic on designing faery races to the intro, because I realized I was just throwing players into the deep end on that one. Hopefully it will help for those who prefer that path.
Okay, Voodoo, I look forward to reading it.
@Mischief I adore the pic and the back story. The doll is a nice touch. Accepted. One thing to consider is that being an escort does come with some privileges. You'll have far more access to the city proper than common fae and will have likely seen places others have only glimpsed from a distance. If your character is the kind who keeps her ears open, and this seems to be the case, she might also learn much about the wider world from her 'clients' and their associates.
@Mischief Welcome and good questions. Firstly another elf would be acceptable as really we only have one (the other being a halfelf). For pixies, I was intending the typical 'tinkerbell' scale of six inches (doll sized). I'll amend the introduction to say as much. If you'd prefer a more 'sizable' character yet still of the winged variety, you can always create another race so long as it differs in more respects from pixies than just being bigger.
@Elsa No rush, we're still a ways from game-on. My goal is seven players with a tightly knit core group (party) of four or five. We're only halfway to that goal.
@Elsa Looking good so far. Elves are by far the most populous of the fae so I don't mind having multiple of that race.

@K-97 Excellent submission and so many possibilities, both in terms of the character and the story. The only caveat I can think of is that you will have to give a lot of thought to how the stark reason of the Grey and the emotional nature of the humans mix in your character's psyche. Will you take the Spock route and repress your human half or will you embrace it? I will also need to PM you some spoilers regarding the Jarnalfar. Expect that in a few. All I see missing is the background and maybe the spoilers will help with that.

@All So we have two halfbreeds. I'm hoping for at least three or more characters, but lets cool it on the hybrids so that the group remains diverse.
Welcome Elsa. I have a good feeling about this one, starting off roleplayerguild's second life on the right foot.
Thanks K-97. I should probably emphasize that although this is technically an interest check I'm also taking characters so feel free to post yours here. I'll move all the accepted characters over to the official OOC when we're all ready to game-on.
@cthulu I really like the character. Everything looks good, improvisation, adaptation and all that. You have an interesting writing style. It's accepted, the only caveat I have for you is that while faeries have virtually no rights, fomori have NO rights and so you will need to be very careful who you reveal yourself to. Even faeries can't be trusted to harbor you for faery and fomori are ancient enemies. That being said, you have a common enemy in humanity so you should be able to find some allies.

@All Intro is now late Beta. I added details on the starting setting, Drezlen, an alpine industrial/mining city as well as a bit on the Iron Police, the officers who regulate faery life within the Blight and hunt fae criminals and freedom fighters. I will also add some more details about the various human nations in the form of hiders. Optional reading for more well traveled or well read characters.
@RataTatTat Welcome!

Like how rpgguild is up and limping for a few days and it already has a more active community than the alternatives.
