Name: Agatha
Age: 46
Gender: Appears female
Species: Azulian (well, not really, it just looks that way.)
Faction: I don’t know what this means.
Role: Co-captain/executioner
::Appearance::Height: 5’9”
Weight: 200 pounds.
Physical Characteristics: Clothing: ::Personality:: Personality: Can I just say Dexter Morgan meets Carl meets Zaphod beeblebrox? No? Okay, well then I’ll explain. Agatha is a violent psychopath with a sense of humor and a moralizing younger sibling she uses like a moral compass because violent psychopaths don’t have such things. She started out killing people for moral reasons, and while she was an axe murdering spree killer, she only killed people who were worse than her, which is to say people who killed others for no good reason. Since people like that come in a limited quantity and since Agatha learned that she quite liked killing people, she expanded the definition of ‘worse than her’ to include rapists, drug dealers and people whom where needlessly physically abusive. Basically, if you were a big enough jerk, chances are you were on her hit list. Eventually, the definition of ‘worse than her’ became so broad that it included petty thieves and people she found generally annoying. Fortunately for the general criminal population, this only lasted for a week before she returned to her usual code via an intervention on her sister’s part, but the fact still stands: She has no moral conscience and uses her sister as a substitute. She is also extremely territorial and hates it when people mess with ‘her things’ which can include people, places, and allies. So, it’s generally a bad idea to threaten the Azulian Empire, bother her friends or touch her computer without asking. You stand to lose anything from your head to your fingers. For example, one of her sister’s boyfriends turned out to be a jerk and now they don’t exist. The mafia threatened the general public and now they don’t exist. Nigel tried to black mail her when she kicked him out of office and she gave a speech about how much of a dick he was before shooting him on national television, which is actually how she got put in charge, because everyone else also thought Nigel was a dick and nobody likes religious cults or mafias. To them, putting her in charge was like electing Julius Caesar or King David. Of course it did come with the requirement that her sister be put in a position of equal power so that Agatha wouldn’t go psycho and kill everyone for entertainments sake. She’s also a major smart ass and likes to invent mean iterations of people’s names so just hope your parents didn’t name you Lewy, Mave, Kurt or Frefrick as she has a gift of making you associate harmless things with dismembered body parts.
Quote: “I’ve not killed anyone who didn’t need killing. Well, mostly.”
Backstory: Read the book Mimicry 25. When it comes out, that is. Ask nicely and I’ll let you read some of the draft. I’m not doing a summary, because it’s too complicated.
Actually, screw it.
Agatha was born into a mafia family which had nigh total control of the general populace using superstition and religion as a manipulation tactic and a 'divine' justification for 'what happened to people', ergo, what they did to people. Taba, Agatha's mother, rose to power in this organization because of her brutality and wanton willingness to commit violence of any degree with the express purpose of scaring people into submission. The leader of the organization before her popularized her among his peers as a 'seer', their version of a prophet and gave her the idea of using religious prophecy to justify her killings on the condition that she kill only who she was told and exactly how she was told, so as to foster the belief that becoming uncooperative with the mafia would result in divine retribution. Naturally, this backfired when Taba realized just how much power she had and decided to publicly take credit for the killings, under the pretense that she was a messenger of the seven spirits, specifically the popular Avola. Many of her 'co-workers' were afraid both for their safety and that of their families and made the fatal choice of backing her up on these claims, one in particular going so far as to take out the former leader of the Mafia for her as a bid to gain favor. Agatha would have been around eight at this time, her mother viewing her as an annoying dead weight and the result of a few bad decisions as a 16 year old. Experts theorize that being drug around by a abusive psychopath on a six year killing spree may, possibly, result in anger management issues, antisocial tendencies, violent tendencies and a pathological need for revenge.
It is directly because of the above issues that Agatha does not believe in a higher power of any sort, detests people who lie, cheat, steal and otherwise abuse others for no good reason and has not issue whatsoever in doling out vigilante justice when necessary. It is unclear if her more sadistc tendencies are a result of nature or nurture, so it's probably safe to assume the answer is both.
When she was nine, her mother tried to kill her for 'inflicting her moral conscience on people above questioning.'
Two years later she told a religious teacher who had molested one of her classmates that she'd like to 'show him something' before leading him to the school roof and kicking a loose board out from under him whilst yelling 'gravity!' The teacher died in a hospital hours later and no investigation was launched due to the nature of the crime and the threat posed by her mother.
She didn't kill anybody for another four years, though her mother started making her do animal sacrifices 'for conditioning purposes.'
When she was fifteen she killed the person her mother had doing Azulian sacrifices, Patron Bewe, via a stabbing him in chest with the knife he ritualistically used to kill people. A month later she left home and set up shop in an abandoned bank by a set of train tracks in a relativly crime-free part of town.
She let people hiding from the mafia camp out there after forcibly evicting the former illegal occupants, while she went about turning the lower levels into evidence disposal zones. Once she had that set up, she used information gathered from the refugees combined with what she already knew to find, stalk and vet her next victim, Clairan Hos, the person in charge of the Mafias Azulian trafficking ring.
This was the first of her kills that showed any methodology whatsoever. Before doing anything, she recorded Clairan Hos's working hours and daily schedule, scouted out the premise dug through her trash to find a list of passwords for her computer in the metadata of a flashdrive and disabled the landline and CCTV system save for the camera in her office which transmitted audio and video from her workstation directly to Taba's computer. Wearing sunglasses a baseball cap and white painters' scrubs over a second pair of clothes, Agatha waited outside the house next to a construction crew deconstructing the house across the street. Upon Hos's entry into her home, Agatha 'borrowed' an ax from the construction crew, entered the house and dispatched of Clairan Hos execution style in front of the camera with the intent that Taba see and know that she and her organization were being targeted. She left the premise ten minutes later, leaving everything contaminated with blood at the scene of the crime, doused in the bleach found in Clairan Hos's closet.
This crime went unreported for four years, and served Agatha's purpose of forcing Taba into a confrontation a few weeks later, when, using a disgruntled former-corrupted cop as a source of passwords and login information to the police department, Agatha was able to obtain information confirming the guilt and whereabouts of Quillitan Mavrick in the murder of former mob-boss Hewit Jackson and several unidentified 'street workers' who worked for Mavrick up until their apparent suicides. Quillitan Mavrick was considerably harder to predict than Clairan Hos, due mostly to his drug habit and voyeurism which meant that he kept odd and inconsistent hours and was constantly sneaking off in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. After thoroughly staking out his house, breaking into his house and finding that he had a weird and disturbing obsession with her mother, then showing up expecting to find Quillitan alone only to find extra occupants or none at all, she gave up on her previously established system, camped outside his house till he left alone and tailed him till he put on a pair of headphones and walked down a disused and empty side street at which point she walked up behind him and stabbed him in the back before he even knew she was there. She then rummaged through a bag Quillitan had with him, found his camera and took a picture of the crime scene, later printing it off along with a collection of Quillitan's stalker-photos of Taba and sending them to her with the note asking simply 'Why are the people you surround yourself with such sleazebags?' Upon receiving the message, Taba found one of the people Agatha had been helping hide at the open air market, killed them and then camped out inside a hovercraft parked on the roof of a building overlooking the market for twelve hours until Agatha noticed they were missing and went to the market to investigate, finding the remnants of a crime scene in the center of a fruit stand before Taba opened fire with a sniper rifle, hitting her in the left arm and right leg as she dove for cover. Instead of running for it and risking getting more seriously injured, she took some rags and a metal stir stick and spoon from the fruit stand to make tourniquets for her arm and leg before waiting for Taba to get out of her vehicle to investigate. Thinking that she more seriously injured her, Taba does so and gets slashed at with a knife, disarmed and nearly killed instead, Agatha's injuries being the only reason it was 'nearly' as someone with a hole in their leg can't exactly chase after you very well no matter how determined they are.
They both slink back to their respective hide outs, Agatha uses the police logins to vet people she knew growing up and her mother uses said people to relay Agatha the message that she 'is no better than her father, who also went into hiding instead of dealing with their problems face-to-face.' Agatha is naturally surprised by this, as Taba had previously made a point of bragging about killing him and his 'fake new family', taking the finger of their albino child as a trophy.

::Abilities::Skills Spending a grand total of 31 years hunting down and dispatching with criminals of all types has made Agatha good at spotting the criminally inclined rapidly and in a creepy-accurate way that often includes the exact motives of the exact kind of crime the suspect is even thinking about committing. Due to the disturbing frequency at which she kills people, she has naturally gotten quite good at things like one hit knock outs and, you know, murder. If she doesn't like you, you won't know because you'll be dead. And that's just what she could do if she were biological, and given that she doesn't want people knowing that she isn't biological, that tends to be how she fights unless absolutely necessary. In which case, expect to be impaled by a drawer full of silverware that, last you were aware, was located on the other side of the room.
Biological Adaptations: Azulians can win at parkour more than you, their immune systems are way better than yours and they can see higher up the visual spectrum than you. They’re also slightly regenerative. But that’s really irrelevant because she’s not really an Azulian, nor biological. Agatha is (but has not always been) a rouge MIMIC, which is to say, a robot emulating a person killed and covertly replaced for a specific purpose (population control) controlled for the most part by an AI who thinks they are the person killed and replaced. Except Agatha knows she’s an AI, and didn’t appreciate being controlled by someone else due to the intensely rebellious nature of the person the AI emulates. She can be controlled via remote control, but only very crudely as she re-wrote her own code to give the AI system full control all the time and the only person with access to the code via biometrics is her sister Mave, so don’t even try.
As a MIMIC, she has the ability to produce powerful magnetic fields which can be used for purposes such as the flinging of metal or conductive implements, the collapsing of metal rooms (space craft), but only if she is inside them, the frying of electronics within a range limited by power supply, levitation over conductive substances, levitation of conductive substances, the powering of electric vehicles till her power supply runs out, the deflection and/or redirection of conductive objects along field lines, and anything else you can do with electricity and magnetism.
As a robot, she is also a lot stronger, heavier and solid than she looks so don’t challenge her to a game of uncle, punchies or arm-wrestling because you will, invariably, lose.
Weaknesses: The same things that you’re weak to. Plus air-conditioning. Their planet is both hot and humid so chances are your house feels like the arctic winter breeze to them. I’m kidding. Agatha may fake these sensitives, but often times she can’t actually tell what temperature it is or when she’s supposed to have been injured which is a big potential give away. Low temperatures make her magnetism more powerful, and they also amplify the effects of other magnetic substances around her, and since she can modulate her level of magnetism from that of say, a rock, to that of a superconductor due to the fact that she’s composed of millions of tiny nanobots with their own polarities which can align themselves in whatever pattern they want making her, essentially, a ferrimagnet, she can have her polarity/field lines altered by a more powerful magnet. Given that she is also essentially an electromagnet, that’s down to how much power she can generate, so if the power source is somehow severed, (for example, the core of the MIMIC removed) the nanobots lose form and she, or at least the physical representation of her, disintegrates into a fine metallic powder. The AI itself is stored in the MIMIC core so it would be possible for someone to manufacture more nanobots or plug the AI into another system. There’s probably more, but I can’t think of it right now.
Weapons: Anything conductive or magnetic.
Armor: She wears fake armor so when she gets shot and it just bounces off, she can say the armor saved her and not the fact that she’s a MIMIC.
Armor Weakness: Whatever can go through metal or Kevlar.
