It happened again. One moment, he was sitting calmly admiring the quieter girl's addition to the story, and the next moment, he had dropped the tablet and was trying to do something about the changing scenery in the immediate area. The sudden scare caused dark eyes to invert colors into silver surrounded by black for a moment and a quick succession of scenes flashed in front of his eyes: An empty hallway, a dark basement, a grey room, and a hospital. As far as he could tell, this would probably be visible to whoever happened to be within three meters of him, but it probably wasn't enough to engulf everyone in the room. Clutching his head, the dark-haired boy tried to focus on the soft chiming of the bell on his wrist, finally managing to stop the quick flow of images surrounding him after a moment. His eyes remained unfocused as he dealt with the hallucination he received in the aftermath, though, so it would be a minute before he could respond to anything again.
As soon as he had spoken, he could see images flashing in his mind. First an empty hallway, then a darkened basement, a room that was grey, and then a basement. William's face went even paler than it was before, and he was so shocked he almost forgot to breathe. He could hear a bell ringing, and then regained his senses.
"Wha-- what was that!?" he asked to no person specifically.
