I suppose so, although if 1960's American SF had anything to say, they'd berate him, at the most or least, depending on type of mission.

Eagle Squad are harden killers. Be it super mutants or babies, if we are told to kill someone, we are expected to have the ability and means to do so. Besides, I never liked the kids in the Fallout Games, cept maybe the boomers. Everyone else was a pain in the ass that I couldn't melt with my laser rifle.
