Ran's ears perked up at the mention of a bounty and her eyes gleamed with unadulterated shine as thoughts of adventuring romance went through her head. Somehow, the girl who was slouching over the bar counter with cookies and a cup of milk was now facing in an exact 180 degree rotation, her body moving so fast it was like someone skipping forward their DVD to a different scene. "So..." Still continuing to dip her baked goods into her fresh dairy product, the girl mage stretched out her words and looked so innocent she could melt butter.

"Where was this Rider last seen? I wanna go on an adventure and hunt a villain and do fun stuff!" Acting liberally and unabashed, one could not imagine that such a carefree looking girl had the actual qualifications to go after such dastards and villains. "Also if anyone else wants to join me, I'd be perfectly okay with that! I don't need the money, and simply want to put the evildoer to justice so my share would be up for grabs!" Draining her glass, she then leaned forward and began grilling the bar people for more information. Nicely of course.
"Well, the same with most other multiversal travelers mostly. I somehow stumbled upon a trinket that pulled me out of my somewhat ordinary life and thrust me into one full of extraordinary situations and circumstances that transformed me from a weirdy to a weirdy with supernatural powers above the ken of most mortal men." Ran said with a straight face even as she stuck a thumb towards herself, having fun making a satire of herself. After all, she knew exactly what she was and the girl wasn't afraid to point out how strange she could be.

"Mostly, I'm on a world hopping tour. Which is basically the same as a world tour but with the multiverse and replace countries with worlds. I'm planning on having lots of fun and adventures and maybe stick my nose into things and somehow blunder my way into helping the situation. So far it's worked, and I've learned a few pointers here and there as well as picked up some spiffy souvenirs. It also lets me meet itneresting people like you so that's another plus to keep on hopping."

Shrugging her shoulders theatrically, the magister magi then pulled a small bag of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies from her hammerspace pouch to dip one of them into her refilled glass milk before munching on the treat with relish. "Want a bag? Least I could do for you helping me out with that encounter. I tend to cook way more than I should, but since my hammerspace pouch keeps things in temporal stasis, the freshness is pretty guaranteed for my stockpile so it helps save time to do things in bulk."
And now signing up with my second character.

• Name: Han Jee-Han

• Age: 18

• Gender: Male

• Appearance: "Let's do our best to get some Experience."

• Method of Travel: He obtained a Skill to hop dimensions.

• Powers: Han Jee-Han is a Natural Ability User, or a person given an innate supernatural ability by Gaia, the consciousness of the planet Earth. Specifically, Han Jee-Han's ability is known as The Gamer, which like its name indicates, allows him to be a living video game character, especially of the RPG variety. This means he can access his own stat menus, level himself and his Skills up, be able to function in a calm an steady manner no matter the situation, heal injuries by sleeping on a bed for a few hours, make enemies drop loot when they realistically shouldn't after beating them, lug around items via an Inventory window, turn actions into Skills both Passive and Active, and even extend his video game-ness to other people by inviting them into his Party and voice chat with them.

As it is, Han Jee-Han is an Magic build character with most of his points going into the Intelligence stat, giving him a large Mana pool to work with. He also has a few body reinforcement and basic martial arts Skills to beef up his physical abilities should the enemy make it close to him. Han Jee-Han though prefers to use the Mana Projection series and its variants, which shapes his magic into solid shapes to impact the enemy with non-elemental damage or create a basic Magic Barrier spell around his body. Last but not least, he has made a familiar pact with an Earth spirit called Nome, who can be summoned to help manipulate the earth to do things such as fling boulders, dig instant holes, or hit people with a giant earth club.

• Personality: Han Jee-Han is a huge lover of any and all good games, to the point that reality shifted and turned him into a living video game character. Despite being laid back most of the time, the guy tends to be really good at concentrating single-mindedly on a task when his interest is piqued, such as grinding Skills so their proficiency goes up or hunting down dangerous creatures to gain Experience. He is also a bit of a goofball with weird quirks such as proclaiming he's a genius and laughing maniacally or cracking weird jokes. All in all though, he's a nice lad with a strong sense of morals and a very curious and inventive mind that allows him to have fun no matter the situation.

• Starting World: The Gamer-verse version of Earth
What appeared to be a rather explosive situation (of the nuclear variety even) was soon resolved thanks to the daring lad Ran had been talking to . "Really, thanks for that. I think I owe you my life." Smiling and flashing him a thumbs up even as she kept her heart from thumping around wildly, the Japanese woman sagged and became semi-boneless from the passing of the problem. And then she jumped up once more when she heard someone screaming along with the sound of wind.

The mage found it so terribly hard to resist running outside the drinking hole with the rest of the herd, suppressing her instincts at seeing how much hero material people were out a charging. Instead, she quivered a bit in her frozen standing position before slowly sitting down, heaving out a small sigh. "Too many cooks..."

Murmuring that under her breath, she then raised a hand to signal some more drinks from the bartender. After all, he did pay and well, it was a bar. That and she wanted to learn more about the guy and one had to drink to continue to be in said establishment. "My name's Ran Hoshigane, magister magi and random roving weirdo." Giving a large grin, she extended her hand out to the locally dressed traveler who seemed to have the look of a kindred spirit in him. "Might I know yours, young hero?"
I'm not sure why people like Kyubey. But this is catharsis right here.

Oh um thanks! I try my best to make her a giant goofball, eheh.

And yeah, I'll think on how to calm her down and post tomorrow to deal with the situation if others haven't done so.
Thanks for being so reasonable about this.

And well, I'll try to have Ran talk to her in the future once she isn't as scary as she was led to be, eheh.
Annnnnd posted in the main thread.

Also first post in the discussion I guess. Glad to mee you all, fellow rpers. XD

"Murple." Ran stuttered as she felt someone looming over her, looking like the anthromorphic personfication of the King of Kaijus himself! Except as a lady. Just the sight of that was enough to knock her brain of kilter seeing how... destructive the source material was. She was fairly certain that the girl based off of giant monster was just as bad tempered given the baleful glare she was given.

"Ah... sure... Yeah. I'll be quiet, yep yep." While by no means submissive, the young woman really didn't want to tick off someone whose resume had "unnatural disaster" and "excessive property damage" on it. Nervously palming what appeared to be the stereotypical fluffy feather used to induce a sneeze in one hand from under her sleeve, Ran got ready to use a certain spell should things go FUBAR. Her plans after that was to use a certain secret technique that anyone could use to relocate, get a better handle on the situation, and come up with an according counter.

Wincing as she was part of the cause to the current almost reaching explosive level of reaction from the other patrons, the girl stood still and hoped that things wouldn't go the way she thought it would be. Though if it did, she could then cross "Cause a barroom brawl" off her list of things that she couldn't do prior to multiverse hopping.
"Ahhhh, moo juice. Clearly this is of high quality since cowboys are known for taking care of cows. Plus it seems to be so fresh I think I heard a cow moo!" Ran happily stated as she hefted the cup up, did a weird salute, and gulped the thing down in one go. "...Warmer than I expected, but rather rich and frothy."

Putting down the glass and paying up with what appeared to be a five dollar bill emblazoned with "Abraham Lincoln- Vampire Hunter" on it with the eponymous president fighting said children of the night instead of the Lincoln Memorial on the flip side. The fact that she had a magnificent milk mustache was also something she missed due to the fact she felt a hand patting her shoulder. Turning about, she saw what appeared to be a young man holding...

"...Is that Plue the snowmanpillbugdog?" What sounded like a strangled squeeing sound emanated from the easily excitable girl as she took in the doubly cute apperance of the duo, a big dumb grin on her face. Patting the hybrid creature and basking in the niceness of the feel of its fur, Ran then regained a smidgen of seriousness thuogh she kept on petting the sentient animal's round head. "Unfortunately no, I'm not its owner. And since no one here is reacting to Plue, my deduction is that if we walk outside the bar and shout out "LOST PLUE", someone should logically come running and claim the pillbugdogsnowman." A fist was clenched with the flames of youth and righteousness even as a fervent gleam entered her eyes at the sidequest flag she had triggered already.
