Aidan Pierceman

"
Don’t sweat the little things. Life’s too short and fun to worry about the small stuff"
For the Record
║ Name ║Aidan, Lanier, Pierceman
║ Birthday & Age ║July 11, 17
║ Gender & Sexual Orientation ║Male, Heterosexual
║ Other Labels ║N/A
║ Occupation ║Works at the local gas station as a part-time mechanic.
║ Appearance ║Aidan stands at an above average height of 6’ even and weighs 200 lbs. At times, his figure may seem imposing. There’s a lot of muscle in that weight, which he can attribute to his role on the football team. Due to his work at the gas station, Aidan has garnered rough hands and lower forearms. Aidan’s welcoming smile, and gentle blue-grey eyes, however, contrast with his intimidating figure. Aidan likes to have a nice, clean appearance, so he keeps his face clean-shaven, and hair combed. His attire normally comprises tucked-in, plaid button-ups with rolled up sleeves, neat blue jean pants with a belt, and a comfortable pair of boots. While working, however, he’ll normally wear scuffed pants and boots and a simple t-shirt.
║ Personality ║The Positive:- Kind-hearted
- Good listener
- Modest
The Negative:- Shy
- Easily annoyed by bullshit
- Angered by insults towards self or others
What You See:If Aidan’s personality had to be summed up in one phrase, it’d be: A Southern Gentleman in Colorado. He’s not all that outgoing, preferring someone else to start the conversation. However, once a conversation is started, Aidan is polite and well-mannered. Not one for cursing all that much, he tends to also avoid confrontation whenever possible. Though it would be unwise to take that as weakness; he may not start a fight, but he will finish one. Aidan is especially more polite towards the opposite sex, for instance, holding doors open, or saying the occasional “mam.” Generally speaking, Aidan tries to have a friendly and respectful attitude towards anyone he talks to, having said that, if anyone insults himself, his values, his friends, or family, Aiden will immediately stand up to defend them.
Another major aspect to Aidan’s personality is his preference towards sensibility and simplicity. Thanks, in part, to his father, Aidan is a firm believer in the law of Common Sense. If it makes sense, great; if not, why bother? If there is no rhyme or reason to why something is being done the way it is, then why not change it for the better. Aidan is never satisfied with the “because that’s how it’s always been done” answer. If you can make something simpler and more efficient, go for it. Nothing irks Aidan more than having to deal with nonsense or BS just because it’s there and no one wants to change it.
What I Know:
Behind all the hard-working, simple life, blue-collar-esque exterior that Aidan portrays, is actually a very intellectual man. He loves to have debates and discussions on serious and mature topics, like religion, and politics; at least as long as both parties agree to keep level heads anyway. Aidan is constantly searching for more knowledge and even has a myriad of books in his room covering a wide range of topics; history, philosophy, even automotive. He’s by no means an expert in any field and will back the statement up, but Aidan loves learning about just about anything he finds interesting. He would love to share his budding knowledge with his friends, but he just can’t seem to get around the strange idea that everyone already sees him as a simple jock. Not only that, Aidan doesn’t want to come off as a know-it-all.

║ Brief History ║Born to a tough but fair father and a kind and loving mother, Aidan had a good upbringing in the town of Westworth. His dad, Richard Piercemen, was born in Westworth as well, and worked the lumbermill out of highschool and up to when they closed it down. At that point he had to go find work in the city. His mother,Lee Ann, however, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She brought her Southern charm to Denver while she was in college where the two met. A few beers later, their relationship started. Lee Ann agreed to move to Westworth, both to be with Richard and to get away from the city life. Soon enough, Aidan was on the way.
Aidan practically grew up outside. Even in this age of technology, when you live in a small town like Westworth, the best place to have fun is outdoors. His father introduced him to many things at a young age, cars and football being two big ones. Aidan learned how to work on cars during the summer months, and just about every weekend during fall, Aidan and his dad were throwing the ole pigskin. The rest of his time was spent either in school, or hanging with friends. His mother wasn’t on the sidelines the whole time. His mom passed on most of the mannerisms Aidan practices, along with her sense of fashion, which Aidan readily took to.
Lee Ann is also the reason Aidan came to have a passion in history. Lee Ann was a history major and now curates a museum in Denver. Her passion for history rubbed off on Aidan. Combine that with his likeness for cars, and a small dose from his father, and Aidan fostered a passion for American history, particularly post-industrial revolution. Now, Aidan is trying to use his natural talent as a football player to earn a degree, and follow in his mother’s footsteps and obtain a degree in history; all the while trying to enjoy his high school years.
