"Well Summer, I'm no expert at this, but I believe you're a Shifter. Similar to me in that you can change forms. The difference is I can only change into half-man half-wolf, and you fully change into any animal in existence." The worry Damien had a minute ago, subsided as the full picture was being shown to him. " If you ask me, I think it's pretty cool. And you shouldn't be worried about anything. Well, besides the pain you might have while morphing, but other than that, I think you're fine. "

"Is the Pain... always this bad? It felt like my body was being torn apart and forced together into this unfamiliar shape. I had a moment there that... I thought I was dying. Havā didn't tell me that it would be so painful.. or that I would even change at all. I'm mostly Elf as far as I know... not that even matters really, I don't know my parents, or my grandparents for that matter."

"Honestly, I don't know. From my experience, my first transformation was the most painful. But I gradually got used to it, and now it doesn't phase me at all to change. The difference again, is that you're a shifter and I'm a werewolf. All I can say is to hope for the best, but for now, I guess the question is how long do you stay that way. Can you shift on will right now, or is there a timer?"

"Um... I don't think I can shift right now... I mean, I want to but it's like... my body won't allow it just yet. It's a strange feeling, but... maybe you can teach me to fight while I'm like this? I'm sure size doesn't count for much if I can't use it."

"Hmm, the problem with that is, you're on four legs. My werewolf form is bipedal. I'm not entirely sure what I can teach you, and if I can teach it well. But I guess the least I can do, is maybe make you a little more comfortable. Follow me into the living space."

Damien then proceeded to the living room, so as to have more space for his larger werewolf form, and stripped down to nothing but his pants. After a few deep breaths, Damien started growling, as his transformation began. Fingers, hands, toes, and feet began to grow in length and size, turning into paws, as claws replaced his nails. His nose and mouth were replaced by a wolf's snout, and his canines became larger and sharper. His ears grew upwards and pointed outwards. The rest of his body grew larger as muscle mass was added, all the while, black fur sprouted all over. After the transformation was complete, Damien the man was replaced with Damien the werewolf as he let out a long howl.

Damien stood in the center of the living room now a seven-foot tall were-beast, wearing nothing but ripped trousers. "So, what do you think?"

"Honestly? If I wasn't stuck in this shape I would ask if I could touch you," Summer replied, "Um... your fur I mean... I... uh... not... oh dear..." She shook out her fur in a flustered manner and carefully approached Damien before nudging him with her nose. Though he was about Seven feet, Summer easily came up to his chest, so she just nudged his shoulder. "Your fur is... soft. Does the condition of your Human hair affect the condition of your Wolf Fur?"

Summer felt equally soft against Damien as she jumped up to chest level. "Not really, my fur just seems to be like that. You however, feel as soft as a cloud." Damien stood there for a second, thinking of the next course of action. "So, uh, what should we do now?"

Summer was silent for a moment as she thought about what he said, though that didn't last long as the pain of another change rolled over her, causing her to let out a howl. "Again?! WHY AGAIN?!" she cried out as her bones began to shrink and rearrange themselves back into her small elf form. By the time her shift finished, tears were streaming down her face as she tried her best to get over the pain.

"Oh... I'm... uh... you are soft," Summer sniffled when she noticed that she had gripped onto his fur.

Damien watched her morph back into her normal self again. This time it seemed to be worse as he saw tears in her eyes. He chuckled at her last comment before wiping away her tears with one finger, "Thank you for the compliment. I promise you, the pain will go away soon enough. When I cannot say, but soon." All this time, Damien couldn't get the fact out of his head that she was completely naked. If he was in human form, his face would have been red as a cherry, but the fur made for a good mask. He grabbed a nearby blanket, and threw it over Summer to cover herself up.

"Now I think is a good time to rest and regain your strength after all the exertion that was put on your body, yes?"

Summer gripped the blanket tightly to her and looked up at Damien, shifting from foot to foot. "Um... I guess but I... can I just stay with you in here for a bit? I don't usually talk to people and... I like talking to you," she murmured softly as she looked at her feet, a light blush on her cheeks, "I mean... you don' t have to talk to me... you are already so kind, I don't want to be a burden to you."

"A burden?" Damien asked in confusion, "You're never a burden on me. We can talk for as long as you feel like, but all I ask is this; from now on, never believe that you would ever be a burden on me or anyone else for that matter. If you agree, then we will talk whenever you feel like it." Damien then picked her up and carried her to the couch, opting to stay in wolf-form. It seemed to make her feel safer, at least, that's what Damien thought. He sat down on the couch and sat her down on his lap, with her head resting against his chest.

Summer was initially startled by Damien's action, but she relaxed against him and couldn't help the small smile that crept onto her face. "I'll try my best," she finally said, "I promise. Thank you... for helping me. I'm not used to people being so kind... what with me having been a slave an all, people used to look at me with disgust. Thank you for not looking at me in that way, I can't place how it is you look at me... but it's not disgust." Summer leaned up slightly and kissed Damien's furry cheek and smiled up at him.

Damien would have been as red as fire thanks to that, Thank the gods for fur. Damien cleared his throat, "Yes, well, some people in this world may be cruel, but I do not believe that everyone is inherently evil. It's the society we live in, I'm afraid. Slavery is the norm, and until it is outlawed, some people will get the short end of the stick. I do believe, however, that times are changing, and slavery will soon go away. Jade Fist's cause is admirable, but I'm not entirely sure if violence is the only answer. Either way, you're not in the life anymore, you're among people that like you for who you are, not your race."

"Until now, I wasn't even sure if anyone really liked me at all," Summer admitted before letting out a small yawn, "It's nice to have someone who likes me for who I am... even if I am a timid little Elf-Shifter." It was obvious that Summer was both joking, and terribly tired at that moment. "You know... you are oddly comfortable... I can't figure out if it's because of the fur, or if it's just you."

Damien chuckled and started petting her head, "thank you for the compliment, and I bet this timid little elf-shifter will become a great and powerful elf-shifter. One who will stand tall and show everyone that anything is possible, no matter who or what you are."

Summer just smiled a bit before resting her head on his chest once more, content with listening to his beating heart as the rhythm eventually caused her to drift off into a dreamless slumber for the first time since she arrived at the University.

Damien sat there for a second to make sure Summer was asleep, before picking her up and taking her back to her room. "Good night Summer, hope you're transformations get easier." He quietly walked out and shut the door, before walking to his own room.

At some point during the night after Damien left, he was awoken by her frightened cries yet again. This time though, they seemed pained more than scared like the others, pained and a lot louder which made him wonder how it is that no one in the other Towers ever came to see what was going on.

Damien shot out of bed, startled and almost tripping over Ember. He burst through his own door, and ran to Summer's. Damien checked to see if the door was locked, and indeed it was. He took a step back to get good footing, and brought his foot into the door, breaking the top hinge and handle. He ran over to Summer and gripped her tightly, "Summer, wake up! It's justs a nightmare!"

Summer let out a louder scream and started to thrash about, not realizing that it was just Damien who had a hold. Despite his best efforts, Summer continuously screamed to be let go until her voice went hoarse and she slumped into him, crying. She finally realized that is was Damien who had a hold on her and she tried to stop her tears, she didn't want to seem weak in front of him, though she had a feeling that her worries were too late.

Damien sat down with his back against her bed, and Summer still in his arms, "Summer it's ok, it was just a night terror, nothing is really happening. I'm right here, no one else." Damien wiped away Summer's tears for her, trying to calm her down anyway he could.

Summer slowly calmed down as she rested her head against his bare chest, trying to focus on his heart beat to help her slow her breathing. "I'm... I'm sorry... I... I wake you up every night... I'm sorry..."

"Hey, hey, it's ok. I know it's gonna take some time for you to get over your past, and everything else. I've already accepted that. Don't ever feel sorry for something that's out of your control. I promise you will get over it, ok? I'm not that far away," he said looking towards his room and the broken door, "and now, I'm even a shorter time away. If you ever need me, just call."

Summer just stared at her door, or rather lack-there-of, and then looked up at him before giggling a bit. She had no idea why, but she found the idea of him breaking her door rather amusing, but that only lasted a moment until she gently gripped his shoulder. "Would you... um... will you... can you stay with me tonight please?" she asked with a light blush on her cheeks.

Damien was a tad startled, but he didn't show it, "Sure, I'll stay with you." Damien lifted Summer up and tucked her into bed. He made a pile of pillows on the floor and Summer handed him the top blanket on the bed, "Thank you." He gave a sharp whistle for Ember to wake up and come into Summer's room. He motioned for Ember to jump on the bed with Summer, "Maybe that'll help. Good night Summer and Ember." Damien then got on his little makeshift bed, and lulled to sleep.

Evelynn, ever the bitch, busted open the door and told Damian and Summer that it was time for supper. "Damn, and I was just about to give you a bath, Ember. Guess you got lucky this time. Now I guess I gotta wake Summer up." Damien patted Ember on the head before walking over to Summer's bedroom door and lightly knocking, "Hey Summer, I think you went to bed a bit early. Apparently Supper is ready."

There was no response for a bit, so Damien knocked a little louder and was rewarded by a half asleep Summer answering the door in her nightgown. "Hmmm? I'm sorry... what were you saying?" she asked as she stretched a bit and yawned before rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Hmm, well." He started after seeing her in night clothes. "You might want to get some better clothes on, 'cause supper is ready." After that, Damien simply turned around and left her to her own devices. "Sorry buddy," he said to Ember, "you're gonna have to stay here. I'll sneak you up something good though. Ember walked over to Damien's room with his tail down and scratched on the door to be let in. Damien did as was asked, but didn't bother checking his own room and instead headed downstairs.

Summer quickly changed into a white sun dress and chased after Damien, "Hey! Wait up! Can I walk with you? And I'm sure Ember can come with us... our animal Companions are just as much a part of the group as we are. Isn't that right Merlin?" The hawk perched on Summer's shoulder let out a screech of agreement, "See?"

Damien came in close so as to keep Ember from hearing, "No, it's that Ember might try to eat all the food on first sight. Don't know about you, but the sight of a dog all over the tables eating everything and making a mess MIGHT not be the best of ideas." He then resumed his posture like nothing was said and gingerly walked down the stairs. Summer followed quickly behind, and the couple soon found themselves standing outside of the towers, waiting for everyone else with Aegar and Evelynn. "Hey Aegar, nice to finally meet ya, and Vampire Witch? You might want to work on your manners if you wanna be a better host."
Here you go! Hope you like it!

Alright, expect my sheet sometime today.
Color me interested. Look forward to seeing where this goes

"So you're my ancestor, huh?" Damien mumbled under his breath as he walked up to the volcano structure. Once he got within arms reach, he placed his hand on the window-like area. Unsurprisingly it was warm to the touch However, before long, he found that the lava inside the volcano had seeped out, and formed a small pond around where he stood. He then found himself standing INSIDE the volcano on a small island. Across from where he stood was his ancestor, Ignis, that seemed to be of flesh and blood.

"Hello Damien. It's nice to finally meet you in person. Or as close to that as we'll get." Ignis said with a soft sounding voice.

"Likewise, to be honest, though I figured my ancestor would have been a werewolf, not a werefox. Not that that's a bad thing. I actually kinda like it. 'Variety is the spice of life' they always say."

Ignis chuckled at Damien's last comment,"Yes, well. I hope you know why you were chosen, Damien. Bonketsu is getting ready to come back to the world and bring it under his rule once more. You and the other sages are to banish him once again. Remember, your allies are your greatest asset. Protect them with your life."

"I understand Ignis, is there anythiing you can tell me about Bonketsu that could help us beat him?"

"I'm afraid not, it's been thousands of years since he was last seen, and he could have radically changed since his last appearance. All I can say is go with a open eyes and a clear mind. If you need any help, you can contact me telepathically."

"Thanks in advance for all that you will do, Ignis. I promise that I will make you proud, and with the teamwork of all of the sages, we will banish Bonketsu back to his pit."

"Good, now go, Damien. It's time your adventure started its next chapter." Damien soon found himself, back in the courtyard, with all the rest of the Sages. Guess, I'm waiting on everyone else now. Damien then looked around the courtyard at the other sages and saw Aravan was the only person that hadn't touched his element yet. He was soon, however, engulfed in black flames. He literally melted in front of everyone, leaving behind a small pile of ash where he once stood.

Damn, that's no way for a man to go. Another man soon came into the courtyard and stood where Aravan once was. He, however, did not make the mistake Aravan did, and placed his hand upon the pillar of darkness. Well who's the new guy?

Damien started off towards Tenebra with Ember beside him every step of the way. He opted to hike the distance instead of sailing. He hiked over hills, trudged through rivers, and forests. He stopped and rested in almost every town along the way. He met many colorful personalities, maybe some that would help later on, on his new quest. Finally after a few weeks of trekking, Damien finally found himself outside the city of Tenebra. "Cool place, though it might need a little more light." Damien mumbled to himself. He made his way through the city, looking at all the demons that inhabitated it. He never really saw any demons in real life, only in books and scrolls. After about half-an-hour of walking, and possibly asking for directions once. . . or twice, he finally found the entrance to the school; or what would have been the entrance if the gates were closed. Inside, he saw seven figures. A short, pale-skinned elf, a human noble, The Jade Fist, a Nymph, and another human. . . that didn't seem like one? He also saw, some kind of black sludge monster, and another female figure standing in front of it. Damien slowly and cautiously made his way forward. He didn't know who these people were, and if they were the other sages, then I had a lot of power, but he wanted to be on the safe side. Ember mimicked Damien's attitude, but didn't growl towards anyone yet. "Hello everyone," Damien said as he got closer. Sorry for keeping you all waiting, I decided to hike this trip."

Once Summer had finished her conversation with the Jade Fist, I think I'll just call him Jade, she thought, she started towards Ostel, that is, until a new arrival spoke. She turned her head to the gate entrance and stopped in her tracks the moment she saw him. He looked like another human, but that couldn't be possible right? He didn't seem like a normal human in the sense that Ostel did. Infact he seemed... almost animalistic in some ways. "Um... hello," she said in a small voice, a blush spreading across her cheeks.

The small Elf, was the first to speak to him. By how she sounded, and the way she held herself, Damien could only guess that she was a former slave. "Hello, to you too. My name is Damien Ormansby. What's yours?"

"Um... Summer... just.... Summer...." she replied, shifting uneasily from foot to foot, she found it easier to talk to Jade because he was an elf, but the Damien was not and she wasn't even sure how to act while talk to him. What was polite to him? What was rude? She only thought of all these things out of habit and not wanting to make him angry.

"Hmm, Summer, huh? I'm sorry to hear that you don't know your full name. Oh, this here is my dog Ember." Ember, than barked happily with its tail wagging back and forth. "So is everybody finally here or are we still waiting on anyone?"

Summer looked around with a confused face before answering, "I think everyone is here," she murmured, "I can't really count so...." She trailed off as Merlin perched himself on her slender shoulder and gently preened her hair, "Oh... this is my hawk Merlin."

"Hello, Merlin. Alright then, it was nice to meet you Summer and Merlin. I suppose now that everyone is here though, the people in charge will start to get things rolling, no?"

"I... um... I... I guess so..."

Summer's train of thought was interupted as a familiar voice asked, "Getting used to everyone I hope Summer?" Ostel asked as his sturdy figure came beside her with a warm smile. And right beside the Sage of Light came the imposing white wolf with it's red eyes glaring at the newcomers, but not growling just yet.

The human then looked to the new arrivals and bowed his head, "Ostel von Grimward, and I suppose I am the Sage of Light. I assume you are Sages as well?" he asked with his eyebrow raising in curiosity.

"Grimward, you say? I know the name. Some nobles in Lucerna, correct? Either way, it's good to meet you, Ostel. My name is Damien Ormansby, and yes, I am a sage, of Fire to be exact." Damien then looked down at Ostel's pet wolf. "A nice wolf, you have, Ostel. My pet might be a distant cousin to your own." Ember still knelt down next to Damien, happily wagging its tail. "His name is Ember. What's your pet's name?"

Ostel looked to Damien first and then down to his companion, "Sometimes I wonder if I am Snow's pet. He does not get into as much trouble as I do it seems. Funny train of thought I guess." He chuckled to himself before shaking his head and extending his hand, "Good to meet you Damien."

After a firm handshake between the two, The Sage of Light turned to the nymph, "And earlier I believe you said your name was Calixta correct?" He said with formalality kicking in.
Hey, sorry I haven't posted yet. Expect mine to come some time tomorrow.
Well, it may have taken me a bit longer than I had hoped, but I finally got my first post up.

And, Aria. Ya that movie was kinda funny, especially then ending scene in heaven.

It has only been a year since that fateful day, and Damien is still on his path of revenge. However, he has come to hide and control his emotions better, even adopting a facade of a laid-back attitude to keep from getting overly angry. In that year, Damien started with the city the Earl was based in. Damien obviously knew he wasn't yet powerful enough to charge headlong against his foe, so he decided to start with the soldiers that were sent to attack his tribe. After scrounging around for information, he was able to identify one of the captains. Although Damien didn't know much in the way of assassination, he did his best, and before he killed his foe outright, he gained the knowledge of the rest of officers. Beginning with the lowest rung, Damien worked his way up to the general in charge of the attack.

Damien learned that the general was in another city; apparently on vacation. He was on his way to see if the information checked out when what seemed to be a stray dog caught up to him and wouldn't seem to go away. There seemed to be a parchment wrapped around the animals leg. The dog allowed Damien to approach unopposed and grab the paper. When Damien unraveled it, the message seemed both awe-inspiring and too good to be true.

Damien, darkness threatens to engulf our world as it had thousands of years ago. The Six Sages are being called upon to defeat this evil and once again ensure peace reigns over Divus. You are the Sage of Fire, and are asked to report to the school inside Ena Kristala City to begin your training as a Sage. Do not allow your need for vengeance cloud your judgement. Aid the world in its time of need.

The letter was simply signed Amalia. The letter seemed too far-fetched to Damien, yet the mysterious person mentions his "vengeance." Only a handful of people truly know what happened to his tribe, and this person is going to great lengths to get his attention. Tenebra is a ways off, and anything could happen to Gilius while he is away, but if what this person says is true, then how can he say no? He decided the best idea would be to venture to Tenebra and see what this person has in store for him. As he began his journey, however, the dog that carried the letter stayed with him. With the apparent liking the dog took to Damien, he reluctantly decided to take him as his pet. After a little pondering, he decided on the name Ember on account of his own element. The dog seemed to like the name and so it stuck. The duo set out on the adventure towards their new quest.
