Name: Catherine Marrowblade
Alias/Nickname:Raven, Lady Marrowblade
Appearance: 5 foot 8
Reference 1:
Reference 2:
Age: over two thousand years old. Appears to be around her late twenties.
Race: God-blooded Human
Personality: (Will show most IC) Raven is known for her cleverness across the land. Whenever she makes a promise or a deed to someone she holds onto it and makes sure she sees it through, whatever the cost. Dignified as she is she was known to get into lots of trouble when she was younger. Her sparkle in her eye has slightly faded, but not disappeared, for the woman still can be amused from everyday life. Still beautiful but now wise, she has been swarmed by crowds of people for her to pass out her knowledge and advice of the blades and fist.
Biography/history: Raven’s name shall be shouted off sailor’s tongues for centuries to come. Her tales as of old display her as a dignified pirate, running the seas as if she owned them with her hearty crew. She was known to help stop the evil of Galendar during the stygian war, and when death stared her in the face she spat at it.
When Raven was but the age of eight her father Lord Marrowblade did something to cause the poor girl to run away from his mansion, escaping to the peasant life by hiding in barrels until they were picked up. Fortunately for her, however, she accidentally boarded what was the fearless pirate ship BlackWing. Raven was quickly discovered and became one of the pirates at the age of nine. Raven’s life as a pirate quickly led her to become fearless, courageous, and Savage. When the time came she became the captain of the ship, and several years later, summoned by Stygians. Raven joined the Stygian empire to fight in the war and that was where she met Christian, persuading him to join her and her allies' cause.
After the Stygian war Raven decided to continue her life as a pirate, roaming the seas and the universe with Blackwing, a beautiful ship to now call her own. Her marriage to christian is subtle, yet not unheard of, as rumors of the bond showered gently over Galendar like soft rain. Their relationship is different, for the moonless night and the heart of storms together as one could surely bring the world to its knees if need be. After lord Marrowblade's death, Raven took over and became Lady Marrowblade by default, (Her brother, next in line for the throne, vanished.) So just as the world knows her as the queen of the calm waters of night, she is soon to be well known for the queen of the stars.
Reason for recruitment: Raven is going to the tower to not only reunite with Christian, but to help with transporting recruits to their designated missions. After not seeing Christian for over a thousand years, Raven finally decided to return to the tower of stars. It is unknown why Raven and Christian went their own ways centuries ago, but rumour has it that it was because she wanted to continue sailing the seas, whereas Christian himself had to guard the high tower where he now resides.
Strength of Will: Superior
Magic: Though most of her magic has been unrecorded, there are several things she has shared with the world.
Mirror: Raven can clone herself using wild magic, summoning her own will. The clones have a lot less durability than she, and they break into thousands of shards after taking damage.
Glide: Like a cat, Raven will never get hurt from falling. Raven can cause her body to become next to weightless; with this she can glide until she lands safely. Raven can also run up walls and remain stationary for as long as she pleases. She can also run across surfaces that would normally trip or caution a person or vehicle with absolute ease.
Precision: No matter what armor a foe has, or what form of protection he or she bestows, Raven can tear through it so long as she uses one of her bladed weapons.
Vanish: Raven can completely vanish from sight in the blink of an eye, but nobody knows how.
Raven also has a divine form bestowed by her grandmother, but nobody has lived to see it and behold what secrets of untold power it claims.
God relations: She is the granddaughter of the Goddess the moonless night. Her relationship with the Goddess is that of family, and what runs in the family is something dark, silent, and deadly.
Tech: Raven has an arm that can morph into very heavy metals as need be for better hand-to-hand combat. This tech has been melted onto her arm, and as a result any weapons that have a sort of recoil, (say, fire weapons or heavy caliber guns) will not harm this arm. The reason why it's in tech is because it's the main key to Blackwing. Nobody can drive the ship or control some of its properties unless Raven is there with this tech.
Possessions/items/property: Raven owns Blackwing (Think of a more upscale version of this)
A knife in her cap that returns to her
her pistols
and a variety of other weaponry and utilities. Including one weapon she hopes to never use so long as she is breathing. Raven, also referred to Lady Marrowblade, owns land in a portion of Galendar. Her father, Lord Marrowblade, was royalty. After he passed away she inherited all that he owned, so she occasionally has to revisit old faces to make sure the land is fairing well.
Skills:
Martial Arts: Raven has had all the time, the patents, and determination, and after two thousand years she finally has mastered all common martial arts and forms of combat, whether hand to hand or with weapons.
Assassin: Raven not only has used her time to train physically, but she has lived and breathed in an environment where the shadows embrace the cold world of night. For several centuries Raven has taught herself the way of the shadow, and thrives in a peaceful, moonless darkness.
Leading the Sail: Raven is a master sailor, she picked it up when she was little and now she knows everything to know about being behind the wheel of a massive pirate ship.
Foresight: Raven had her eye split open on one of her ancient adventures, leaving her no choice but to summon her grandmother. With her help, they gave Raven the moonless eye, and just as there is white in a normal human eye there was black in this divine replacement. Though Raven covers it with her loose bangs she can still see. She can see everything in the dark, the shadows, and anything that lurks about, no matter if it is invisible to the average eye or not.

She has two pistols that turn into her signature rapiers: Moonbane and Nightsing. Light and Shadow blades. She usually uses these things mostly in combat. Raven was never one to indulge in futuristic technology Galendar has to own, since her own skills seem to do the trick. She can, however, use most tech if need be.

Name: Marielle Spade
Alias/Nickname: El
Appearance: Face:
Body/Clothing:
Extra Image:
Age: 23
Race: Human
Personality: Oh God...you’ll see.
Biography/history: Darkness is a creature. All alone with nothing to do but eat the world around it. Darkness is silent, patient, like a sly handsome man. But with just the flick of a wrist, an orange, warm glow conquers; A small stick between finger and thumb. This warmth will change darkness forever, a second of spades, a lone flame in the night.
Marielle was an orphan with nothing. Nothing but a deck of fifty three cards. They were special to her, particularly the spades. Spade cards in hand she wandered the streets aimlessly, without purpose, then, the lonely darkness called for her name in a man with a suit and black cloak. There was a twinkle in his eye, for he knew of her...ability. The spade gives her light...warmth..and the tenth of spade allowed her to manipulate the heat around her, conjuring fire at the age of 13. The man gave her a home, a sanctuary, in turn she would grow in her abilities for him in his world, his passion,
the circus.
For some reason Marielle left the circus, perhaps it wasn’t suited to her tastes, and wound up doing some heavy dirty work for those who needed it. Fancying machines and other means of transportation, Marielle became a master at engineering in her own due time, while finding plenty of other time getting into trouble. Somehow, however, she still managed to get the job done, and now she found a job that was more worth the cash than the thrill.
Reason for recruitment: Marielle’s master mentioned the tower of stars in some children’s stories during her training, piqued with interest she did some digging for information on the location not only to find out it existed, but they were enlisting jobs. However, she didn’t act on it, and during one of her darker requests she was to steal cargo from a strange ship in the middle of the night. Unfortunate for the job giver, it was never completed, for the ship was blackwing, Raven’s property. Marielle was surprised to see that Captain Raven didn’t punish her when she was caught, but take her in as an apprentice. Little did the magician know that their next destination was the tower of Stars.
Strength of Will: Potent
Magic: Marielle uses some magic based on drawing it from around her (wild)
and using the magic stored inside the items she uses.
Some magic is channeled (Like with the Joker and other royal cards)
Spade: Casts fire
Hearts: Charms/control
Clover: Healing/nature/luck
Diamond: Teleportation, Telekenesis, levitation
Joker: Insanity, trickery, deception.
Jack: Charisma, Fighting wisdom
King: Power, courage, sun
Queen: Knowlege, foresight, tech understanding, moon
God relations: Xavier Locksis, (Xandrius) The Reflection that walks.
Tech: Marielle owns a motorcycle that can handle basically any type of weather. It can fly through the air, go underwater, and ride on land relatively fast, and she made it all by herself. The magician has a warehouse with a Black Corvette sports car (Flying model), a skateboard capable of turning into a shield to help withstand types of elemental magic and damage. She invented a sword that transforms into a bladed whip at the flick of a wrist. She also owns thermal gloves and a variety of other normally useless machines she has invented and uses to her own benefit.
Possessions/items/property: Chaos deck cards, thermal gloves that allow the skin to withstand extreme heat and cold, Marielle’s storage hat, (which contains the following: throwing blade cards, chakrams, throwing knives and stars, smoke grenades, and a variety of vanity clothing and outfits.) Demon cloth (refitted for Marielle’s….personal tastes, not for the average individual to see.) and an obsidian dagger. Finally, she owns her whip sword (
