Wonderful! Time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone! Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese, true?

Definitely my favorite Daedric Prince.

I'll post tomorrow. It's a little late now.

A hospital might not be the safest place. In fact, any place that masses of people converge onto will become a target, strategically speaking (if I was an alien invader that's what I would do). It would be best to get out of the city, or at least as far away from the downtown area as possible, toward the outskirts.

To be specific, my idea was that the hospital safe-zone holds out against the scouts until the main army shows up, giving us about 1-5 days of recovery time in the hospital. Just to clarify.

Also, I'm a big fan of this 'use their technology' idea for our escape. I'd prefer cloaking devices, because it increases the tension. It also would make for a tense scene when we realize there are invisible infiltrators in the hospital. See here for something like that. You'll want to skip to the 1 hour mark.
I'm making Lucian a Co-GM, since we have two separate groups of people, and I need to have someone who knows the story and can tell it when I can't, usually because I can't really post exposition for the other group without controlling someone's character.
Sten was displeased by the presence of the Ork among this delegation, as he was at the psychic messages he sensed from the Eldar; having worked with the Eldar Harlequin before, he was familiar with his psychic 'smell.' He was unable to make out any details of the message, and neither did he care to, for it was business for the Inquisitor and the Inquisitor only. However, the Interrogator's presence disturbed him by far more. The subtle background noises he always heard from the warp died out as she entered the room, as did the flame at the tip of his lho-stick. He could almost see the emptiness of her soul spilling through her eyes, creating a choking cloud of... nothing. Sten shifted uncomfortably in his seat. Every fiber of his being thought only of getting out of the room and away from her, until his gathered his focus and followed the example of the inquisitor and the grey knight. Sten couldn't comprehend how the Inquisitor could be in the same room as her and show not a trace of discomfort. The space marine librarian, he was less surprised at for his lack of apparent discomfort, for the space marines were more than simply human, and likely were not troubled by many things mere mortals did. At least I won't have to worry about falling asleep anymore. he thought. He focused on the mission briefing, which was lacking quite a few details. The idea of jumping into the unknown was alien and uncomfortable to Sten, as he usually had a hint as to what he was yet to encounter. Perhaps the currents of the warp would clear once he got to the surface.

I generally do pretty badly when it come to D&D, still enjoy it though. You rolled a one and stabbed yourself in the face with your own sword congrats you are horrible at this.

One time when I was playing, a friend of mine was charging up a fireball when he rolled a 1. His character immediately went "OH DEAR GOD A SNAKE" and fried his friend's familiar. It was quite funny. Except for the guy who lost his snake familiar.
Ray finished his song and took a plate of food. He enjoyed the aroma for a bit as he took his food back to his seat on the deck. This stuff smells absolutely heavenly, and was made from common and inexpensive ingredients. Had I smelled this but a month ago, House Skalter would have a new chef. The food tasted even better than it smelled. Ray sat and savored his meal, the sea breeze and the break from singing.

He listened to the captain's plans. The Falkland Ice Floes were a treacherous and frigid place. Ray hoped the crew could get some better clothing for the cold lands of the north before going there. He also hoped that whenever they stopped to purchase said supplies that their stop was quieter than the last. Nolan took his dishes when he was finished; Ray thanked him as he took them away to the galley. He leaned back against the wall as he sat on the crate he had been using as a seat, humming a tune to himself, and letting the dying day lull him towards sleep. It was not to last.

"I believe we have an uninvited guest!" Nolan cried. Ray was up in a heartbeat, his rapier flashing in the light of the sunset. He rushed into the galley and got to Nolan. "Where is he?" Nolan pointed behind the crate. Ray called out. "Alright, whoever's out there had better come out without a fight, or I go in there stabbing. Come out!"

Ah! A fellow DnDer. I really enjoy playing, but haven't found the time or people to do so recently.

Also, sorry, Cap'n Aki, sir, I'll be posting soon.

Also, Hi and welcome to the crew, Jivusa.
Okay, so it wasn't that subtle. *Shrug*

Ten points to Raineh Daze for figuring out what the 'All-father' was. I had planned him to have a strange feudal-worlder's twist on Ecclesiarchal beliefs, with the All-father being the Omnissiah like this: 'Omnis' means 'all,' 'siah' gets confused for 'sire,' which means father.
