@Tojin I'm surprised no one's made a reference to one of the deadest memes on the internet. Faith in humanity (somewhat) restored.

Will be going on an indefinite hiatus as soon as all of my current RPs die. I'm starting to lose my metaphoric footing on my studies and my grades are dropping as a result.

I'm not the ship's Captain, but I'll still go down with it. *salutes*

Yeah, the whole idea of making a Caster out of a not-so-popular mathematical figure who's only about 250 years old didn't seem to fly with me, especially considering the other submissions on this thread. I needed to kick it up a notch, so I decided to submit for a Lancer slot instead—someone much closer to home, if you get the idea.

(EDIT: Fixed the parameters and skills at the GM's request. The description for Lancer's Noble Phantasm has been completely rewritten to suit her origin story a little better. As of the moment I'm writing this footnote, I am ready to submit this sheet for review.)
@ADamnFiddle Finally managed to gain access to the Web. I'll fix the Master's submission ASAP and start working on my submission for Laplace (Caster) immediately afterwards. Thanks again!

EDIT: I made some adjustments to my original submission. Hopefully there won't be as many errors this time around... >_<
Here's my Master application. Lemme know what you think of it, and if it needs to be altered in any way. I might have the Servant application by tomorrow [if I'm lucky enough].

Makoto and Pichu manage to disembark from the ferry safely... save for the former's left arm still hanging limp. "So this is Melemele Island..." Makoto says, marveling at the urban landscape of Hau'oli City. "It's so different from back home in Ula'ula, Don't you think so, Pichu?"

Pichu lets out a squeal of delight before hopping off her Trainer's shoulder, feverishly sniffing at the air.

Makoto chuckles. "Looks like someone found the malasada shop! Sure, I'll treat you, buddy. We need to stuff our tummies before we hike up to our first Tri--"

Oof!

Before he could see it coming, a wild Ratatta smashes into Makoto's stomach, causing him to double over in pain. Startled, his partner Pichu lets loose another Thunder Shock in retaliation, stopping the fleeing rodent in its tracks. "Thanks, buddy. I'm okay now..." He manages to reincorporate himself with a small grunt.

"Now, let's get to catching this crazy little rat." Before he manages to fetch a spare Pokeball from his bag, the wild Ratatta musters up what little strength remains in it's tiny body to scurry down a small drain that wouldn't even fit Pichu.

"Hey, come back!" Makoto cries out in vain, with his empty Pokeball still in his right hand. Pichu returns to her Trainer's shoulder, but not before showing him something she found. "A Berry?" Makoto asks. "I'm guessing this was supposed to go down there... to the sewers. That's probably where their nest is located." He rubs his chin. "But why the hurry, though? The darned thing didn't even have time to fight me—it just up and ran away!"

"Pi..." Pichu whines.

"I mean, it's not like there are any predators in the city, right?"

ROAR!

"Me and my big mouth..."
Applying for Sailor Mercury's protege.

Name: Tina Yukino (Last name translates to "Snow" with a "no" suffix added into fit the naming conventions of the Inner Senshi.)

Age: 14

Description/Picture: Shove a blue Sailor Suit on her... rei.animecharactersdatabase.com/uploa…

Senshi Mentor: Mercury/Ami Mizuno

Origin: During the era of the original Moon Kingdom, Tina was a high-ranking Noble child who took up the spear after otherwise failing to catch the attention of a certain platonic crush of hers. She heavily admired Princess Serenity and venerated her as her prime role model.

Power Base: Ice/Snow/Other really cold stuff.

Personality: Borderline Usagi, save for a minimal boost in Academics. Where the former would score a 30 on her English test, she'd score a 55... However, when it comes to something worth practicing for, her determination to come out on top is superhuman. Her High Score on the Sailor V arcade game is the highest amongst her peers.

Likes: Ice Cream, Tall guys, Bubble Gum, Puppies (the smaller, the better!)

Dislikes: Sweat, Salamanders, Curry/other spicy stuff.

Biography: Tina is a half-Japanese, half-American student that lives in the same neighborhood as Ami. Ami recognizes Tina's potential when she tutors her for her high school entrance exams. Later, during said exams, a Youma starts attacking her classroom, and Tina manages to hold it off alone until the Sailor Senshi come up to save the day.

When Sailor Mercury personally asks Tina for her motivation to fight the Youma all by herself even though her life was in danger, she just beams and explains that "[Sailor Mercury] would have easily done the same for her. Impressed by her bravery, the Senshi decide to knight her as Mercury's protege and present her with the Mercurian Spear. As for her name, Tina insists on naming herself after the Greek equivalent of Mercury...

I am Sailor Hermes, and on behalf of Mercury, I will punish you!
I am well aware that I'd be stretching it by nominating a scientist/scholar to the Caster class, so I'll ask for permission before starting an application for Pierre Simon-Laplace.

I was inspired after reading Kalleth's application for King David as Archer and came up with the idea of summoning a Servant who managed to prove that the observable universe does not require "divine intervention" to operate.
Makoto, an anxious, short high school boy is on a ferry, accompanied by a tiny yellow rodent with light pink cheeks. The boy's large eyes widen in surprise as he notices the image of an island fading into the distance. "Look, Pichu!" he exclaims, extending his pointer finger towards the incoming landmass. "That's Melemele Island right there!"

Excited, Pichu climbs onto her Trainer's shoulder in order to get a better view. It is at this moment that a wild Magikarp Splashes out of the water and onto the deck. "Pi!" the Tiny Mouse Pokémon squeaks in surprise and accidentally releases a Thunder Shock attack, shocking Makoto in the process.

"Cripes, Pichu... You really need to learn how to handle those hiccups of yours." Makoto whines, returning to his seat.

"Chu..." Pichu's eyes begin to water.

"Don't 'Chu' me... You know that's the arm I throw my Pokeballs with, and now I can't feel it."

Pichu coyly nudges Makoto's limp arm and kisses it. "Aww... You're kissing it to make it feel better? How Sweet of you--" Makoto stops mid-sentence as soon as he realizes Pichu's actual intentions. Before he gets the chance to do anything about him, his working left hand has already begun balling into a fist against his will.

It hurt itself in its confusion!
Knock, knock. Is anybody here? I'm here for the Pokémon RP. :|
Ooh, I'm up for "a good old-fashioned" Holy Grail War! :D
In Hello 7 yrs ago Forum: Introduce Yourself
I might be a little late for this, but hi. Rookie Roleplayer #1295 here, stopping by.

Joking; call me Gummy. I'm actually a closet Moonie myself (Do people still call them that?). Watched the entirety of the original series (including Stars), even though I couldn't find the strength to continue watching Crystal.

Introducing myself at this moment would be beyond redundant, seeing as I've barely been registered on this site for 24 hours. I hope you're enjoying these forums as much as I am. See you around~
