@Tojin I'm surprised no one's made a reference to one of the deadest memes on the internet. Faith in humanity (somewhat) restored.

Will be going on an indefinite hiatus as soon as all of my current RPs die. I'm starting to lose my metaphoric footing on my studies and my grades are dropping as a result.

I understand the issue revolving Longinus and his Excalibur-ranked Holy Spear. I'm submitting a third attempt for the spot of Lancer of Blue, since I'm pretty sure you have no intentions of accepting my latest Servant application. When I'm done with the character sheet for this guy, I'll edit it into this post.

SPOILER ALERT: I'll be submitting a sheet for Don Quixote... As a Lancer, not a Rider.

See you in a few!

EDIT: Here it is. Let me know if I missed anything.

@Gummy1295
Alrighty. Apologies for the snags you've been running into during the process.

Don't mention it. A huge part of it is my fault for doggedly insisting on writing sheets for a particular class, anyway ^^;
Tiina Bouquet

Location: Great Hall
Time: Morning
Interacting with: @Cerces22 ~ Circe

Tiina had never been so conscious of her height before. Even for a 14 year old, she was already rather petite in stature. As she stood facing the stairs that led to the front door, she started getting second thoughts. "I know I earned this early admission into the Academy, but..." She muttered to herself. "Do I really belong here?"

There were still only a handful of students within the premises. Noticing the lack of activity amongst her peers, she rolled up her sleeve a bit and checked the time on her wristwatch. "I'm an hour early..." she tells herself. "I should look for an itinerary for now." It was then that she noticed a bulletin board at the base of the rightmost stairway with many papers stapled to it. Upon further inspection, she noticed that many of these papers were promoting various extracurricular organizations and clubs. She skimmed through most of them, but she found nothing that caught her eye too much. "I was never really much of a club person, anyway..." she sighed

She found the schedule for the orientation among all these flyers and brochures. "Okay, I'm supposed to be at the Great Hall in the second floor for the orientation..." She takes a moment to check her wristwatch again. "...51 minutes from now. I suppose I should head up there right now regardless, though. It's not like I have anything better to do." She shrugged and headed up the staircase to the second floor.

On her way up, Tiina notices a tall, pale man with a portable gaming console in his hands. She immediately recognized what game he was playing by the familiar chiptune coming out of the system's tiny speakers. As she passed beside the man, he doesn't even glance in her direction. "I've never seen anyone so immersed in a game of Pocket Monsters..." She mumbled under her breath, a tiny smile curling up her rosey cheeks. "I hope everyone here is strange and quirky like that."

Shortly after making it to the second floor, Tiina's half-elven ears picked up another familiar noise—the crash of steel on steel. Worried, she rushed over to one of the windows, only to find the combat arena on the floor below hers. Two people were sparring inside, one being a human boy and the other being a tall, well-dressed, vampiric-looking professor, with Tiina herself being the only spectator that she knew of. After a few seconds spent analyzing the battle, Tiina pouted. "This is barely a fight," was her conclusion. "The boy's clunky and rigid fighting style doesn't demonstrate beyond the basic understanding of swordplay..." She let out a sigh of disappointment. "I feel for the professor. You can tell he's trying his hardest not to erase the boy from existence."

She remained spectating the sparring session until the two decided to stop about 20 minutes later. "You are stronger than the last time we met, but you are still weak," the professor declared in a rather blunt fashion. "Come again." With that, the student bowed to his superior and walked away, looking almost as disappointed as Tiina. Just as she started turning away, she noticed someone else enter the arena: a much better-built young man with a heavy-looking gauntlet on one of his hands. Tiina cocked an eyebrow. "This looks like it's starting to get interesting."

Just as she was getting comfortable, her trained elven ears started picking up a loud commotion getting gradually closer. When she turned her head, she found the professor, the one she'd noticed playing Pocket Monsters just before, leading an enormous crowd of students up the stairs "Is it really that time already!?" she exclaimed, frantically rolling up her sleeve. Indeed, it was time to meet up in the Grand Hall.

The professor flamboyantly opened the door using a familiar, letting the army of students to spillinside, dragging poor Tiina into the Hall. Within seconds, most of the seats in the back were occupied. Eventually, she found an available seat around the middle of the Hall, next to a roughly-dressed red haired girl with a disgruntled face. "Excuse me, sorry! Coming through!" She squeezed through half of the row until she reached the seat she was looking for. She turned to face her neighbor, asking her in a nervous tone:

"E-excuse me... Is this seat taken?"
@Cojemo

Funny story, I submitted Longinus for the Lancer class but I originally intended on placing Hector of Troy in the Lancer of Blue spot instead. I decided against it, since we already have Achilles as a Servant and I want to help keep the Servant pool nice and diverse, with Heroic Spirits that hail from all around the world...

...That being said, I would totally revert to Hector if you polish up Paris.

...not really. cool idea tho
True Ether isn't an element, it's just a type of magical energy. If you're giving additional damage then I'll need a metric. I'd also appreciate justification for why it's stronger against Evil-Aligned.

Longinus is viewed as in the same light as Rhongomyniad according to the latter's sheet, so I personally wouldn't have any issue with placing it on the level of Rhon. Of course, prana cost would scale with that as well. Best to check if Fiddle has any objection to that himself, though.

Rhon is ranked at A++, according to the wiki, so I'll take the risk of giving it the same ranking as a tentative. If Fiddle thinks it's too strong, I'll edit the post accordingly.

Also, I'll erase any mention of the bonus damage. I was under the assumption that this buff is standard for holy figures such as the Saints.

With that said, any other observations?
@Over Illusion

]1. I'll change it right away.

2. I originally meant the skill to use True Ether-elemental damage, but even though it's been tainted with the blood of Jesus Christ, I think it would make his Noble Phantasm far too strong for the Master or the Servant to handle. I'm keeping the long-range, Excalibur-ish beam of light, but I'm a lot more comfortable changing the element of the Noble Phantasm's attack to Fire, with bonus damage to Evil-alignment Servants.

3. That's workable. I'll get it done right now, as well.

4. I think I'll need to ask permission before increasing this NP's rank to anything above B. The Holy Lance is indeed a relevant artifact in Modern Christianity, but would it be fair to raise it to a rank rivaling or nearing that of Excalibur? Or would that be too powerful for this iteration of the Holy Grail War?
Lemme know if you're still running low on characters. I'm down for submitting another character application if you need one or two more. ^^
Decided to drop Agüeybana and replacing her with a newer, more well-known Servant of the same class.

So, let's make this Swift and deadly. Presenting another Rule 63'd warrior who fights with a pointy stick: Meet Longinus, better known as that one "guy" who pierced Jesus Christ's waist with his Lance to make sure he was dead.

So, how about it?

@Over Illusion

If you're looking for some historical explanations for Agüeybana's Noble Phantasm, I've come up with a few.

Defense Nullifying Effect ~ The original Taino tribe would go into battle wearing little to no clothing or armor. Just like the description of the Noble Phantasm states, the spear would be able to even out the disadvantage by ignoring the opponent's armor... As if they were riding into battle bollock naked.

Explosive Throwing Spear ~ Fun fact: The English word "hurricane" comes from the name of the Taino deity of storms, Juracán. You can see where this is going already. Instead of a rapid release of concentrated mana, a large Wind-elemental shock wave or a cyclone could be materialized instead.

(Lemme know if you're buying this shit.)
