"Best of luck Sensei." Nodding swiftly Akira turned to break away from his Sensei and Sayuri heading alongside Hirudora to the Northwest, keeping an eye out for traces of people passing through. After the groups were a small distance apart he moved his had to tap the communicator, enabling the channel. "Test. Sensei, Sayuri, Chinatsu, is the signal clear?" As he spoke he looked over his shoulder to the bow bearer, he still wasn't completely sure what to make of her but he knew that if he came to blows he would have to trust her.

Glancing forwards again Akira reached into his tool bag and rummaged around for a kunai, eventually his hand clasped around the handle and drew the throwing tool and keeping it handy in case he spotted the target. "Hirudora, do you know the traitor's scent?" He shouted ahead to the summoned guide before opening the comms systems once more. "Sensei, does the traitor have any clue on how to camouflage or cover his tracks? You still haven't made it very clear what we're dealing with."

(Warning:Minor spoilers from FF4's plot.)
Born in Baron some time before the turbulent period of Cecil's quest, Breeze wished to join the red wings and fly the airships. He never excelled with school and spent most of his time forming and leading a gang of petty thieves made up from his friends. Soon enough he reached maturity and enlisted in the red wings, taking it as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf he cleaned himself up and was able to quickly work himself up through the ranks to become a pilot of one of the airships. When the king began issuing orders to collect crystals through any means necessary Breeze became uneasy and even the captains Cecil and Kain, whom he had previously admired, seemed unwilling to stand up and so he took it upon himself. Reverting back to his old chaotic ways the man lead a mutiny and stole one of the red wings, he set off on his own as despite his best efforts he was unable to convince the others to leave Barron behind. And so he sailed the skies alone until he could at last return to his home or find a new one.
I'd be up for this.
Still room in this?
I'm interested.

Akira reached to take the red apple, giving a nod of appreciation and a kind smile. Taking a bite from the fruit he began to think he'd simply had a bad first impression and that maybe this team would accept him, as he swallowed the food down he spoke. "My skills are close Taijutsu combat, traps, tools and perception." He said in response to Chinatsu's first question while gesturing to the sword on his belt, later shrugging off the attempted joke by forcing a smile and short laugh. "Spiders are no worry for me." There was a clear awkwardness about the way Akira spoke when addressing the girl, he hoped that it would pass sooner rather than later.

As the group walked forwards towards the exit Akira looked from Chinatsu to their Sensei, following him as the group set off. "Thank you Sensei, Hirudora, Chinatsu, Sayuri, I trust each of you and promise that your trust in me will be well placed." He maintained his position that Sayuri had suggested, wondering how best to track down this traitor. "Should we fan out? It might be easier to spot traces of someone than if we're clustered together looking at the same areas." He suggested as they passed the village gates.
I could get behind a revival.

Akira narrowed his eyes and looked to Chinatsu, he had hoped that after leaving the academy he'd leave behind the bullying and ridicule but it seemed it was simply the way of things. He watched the way her tone shifted, how her entire personality changed in an instant as she handed an apple to the other team member who likely had similar views but hadn't had the time to express them only to snap back as her attention turned back onto him. The threats went in one ear and out of the other, no point dwelling on them, the only acknowledgement he gave was a simple shrug and the blinking of his eyes. The girl muttered something else but Akira didn't hear it, he looked to Hiroshi.

Why he was being reprimanded for his silence was a mystery to him, lowering his head slightly Akira sighed quietly. "My apologies Sensei, Hirudora, I didn't have anything useful to contribute and I don't think idle chatter is something you'd want to hear." He was tempted to add something along the lines of 'Neither are death threats' but decided against it, no sense in starting an argument right before an important mission. His Sensei's words also shed light on why Chinatsu was acting so superior, the team had already performed one previous mission, that made Akira smile inside, she was really quite petty to hold a single mission in such high regard.

Raising his head to follow the team leader he looked to Sayuri and gave a faint smile, so far she hadn't made any comments leading him to hope that she was at least indifferent about him which meant he'd be able to make a good impression. Then he looked to Chinatsu, keeping the smile up, there was a slim chance she was just in a bad mood and that treating them correctly and showing each of them he was useful would improve their current relationship. His gaze shifted forwards to the open door and he gave a swift nod to Sayuri's statement. "Right!"
