All the burden on my shoulders has been put aside for now, and when I have to pick them up again, I take it happily as this time I have someone to help me.

I finally participated in writing contest. Naturally, I lost. But I enjoyed it a great deal. In other news, soon a bachelor.

Soon it's summer and soon I'm enjoying holidays.

Bio

They called me Habibi when I played World of Warcraft. I enjoyed the nickname.

I also enjoyed playing it. Reading the lore, raiding, eventually playing in RP-servers and making quite many stories there. From there my interest to roleplaying rose. I tried forum RP:s, Larps, dungeons and dragons... And eventually I found myself here.

I enjoy playing characters and wondering how different people and characters see the world, why they think like they do, how they would do their relationships. I enjoy telling stories and wondering things from different perspectives. Moral issues from black to white and every shade of grey between them. Wondering religious, philosophical and ethical things. Trying to understand one's culture and background. Trying to understand others from the point of view of my characters.

As for what else I do? I'm studying physics in Finland. Going to specialize in material physics. I also dance. Like, a lot. Ballroom dancing, historical dancing, Charleston, Swing dances... I love the way of expressing myself through music. A hobby of mine that I'd love to do bit more professionally.

Waiting until New Year is an OK solution. Though at the moment I'd have decent amount of time and would have loved to pour some into this RP, but I do understand the situation so I'm fine with this.
Nice posts. Interrupted my exam reading a bit, but my post is up. Back to reading...

Seriously. Damn sweet posting from people so far. Love reading this.
Michael grabbed his cheeks with his right hand and squeezed them a little as he listened the the details. Periodically it extended his lips even more and probably made him look like fish. He didn't know, he hadn't watched himself doing this in a mirror for lethal reasons. Nor did he care

He squeezed a tad harder as he heard reasons for them to be chosen. Invisibility in the big picture, political situation, lack of allies. Seemed he was a tad bigger fish than others, but he shouldn't get too cocky in this situation.
He squeezed another time when he heard about the payment. To be earned... They didn't discuss it to greater detail just yet but promised to return to the very point that interested him a lot.
He drummed his right hand's fingers against the left one as they discussed about the frictions between the barons. Fancy information, something that already gave the Fourth Face ideas on what to do. And how he'd perhaps get with Maccellan's gang into the mixture. Possibilities were there.

And before any more was revealed or discussed, one of the two thralls made a phone call. After that, Fourth Face was dropped into rabbit's hole.

It was a fraction, a passing moment. He didn't know how it had happened, it just had. First he was about to die; he was about to burst, his insides to be pressed into a single point. He grabbed his chair in pain. And then he felt his power intensify as pain vanished. The mists that were him, inside him... He didn't know how, but he knew that it was possible, even easy, to fill the room, even the docs with mists. Or turn invisible, with smallest mists needed for his existence. Fight against the winds, he understood now how little he had tried out his powers, how little he had expanded his powers... And then it was gone. He was no longer a real monster but mere mob boss's lap dog again.

This he thought is what I yearned for. Power... He understood from looking from others that they too had experienced what he had. They had power too... To be used or to be watched out for, he didn't know. He took a deep breath and tried to relax again in his chair.

“We will give you the tools to take back control of your immortal life that has been denied to you. Any questions?” Michael had none. He understood that this was the chance he had longed for. And he was ready to aid in this rebellion just to get the two things he wanted. Power... And Power. But there was a long road to that goal.

For Michael's dislike someone still had doubts about this whole plan. Michael was more than happy for the Detective to talk out loudly in order to explain the situation for the sickened creature. But there was far more interesting facts that he revealed to the group. A possibility that their employer would be a Baron was an interesting one and would make a lot of sense. They should prepare to be betrayed by such a Baron if it'd come to it.

Peter was an intelligent man and one reason he was hired once. But a fool also; such information could be saved for oneself. Still naively trusting others, Fourth Face thought. Or trying to make himself look trustworthy in other's eyes.

“So, if you can’t take the heat it’s time to get out of the kitchen, because I’m saying we need to sign a blood pact, secrecy or death, as I’m sure I’m not the only one of the opinion that none of you can be trusted.” The Detective, Peter Reed said, looking at Michael while saying this. Michael tilted his head and made half a smile. A small one, but still. He was guilty for small betrayal in their short time they had worked together. But he agreed that he either didn't trust a lot of them either, so a blood pact, while he disliked the idea to a great length, would still be the best opinion here.

“But of course” Michael said, confidently, straightening his pose (Which didn't improve his situation much thanks to his bad posture) and grabbing the jacket's front, yanking it downwards. “None of us wouldn't like to have a dagger in our back.” he said before turning his head towards the two thralls.” And if that's what you call... “ He licked his lips and made a smack. “Proof of concept, I definitely will offer my assistance. Others?” He finished, looking left and right with his eyes.

Perhaps one day he'd be betrayed thanks to this whole ordeal. But he trusted he would be the smarter one when that day came.
I have nowadays nothing but free time (...And reports and thesis to write) so no worries, take your time!
The colorful bunch that had been summoned to the meeting was eagerly waiting after Michael had sat down for whatever was coming next. Seemed that he had been the rude one here, coming last to the meeting. The man in polo started his presentation; whether he was nervous or exited, the Fourth Face couldn’t tell. Thrall like that would be expected to be afraid in a company like this; if he had good news that would interest the lot, surely he would be eager to see their expressions.

Michael had expected there to be a bigger force in play and in his mind his confirmations became right as thrall spoke. Behalf of a proprietor… Probably one with a lot of influence to have confidence to summon this group. “… But isn’t that part of the fun?” Thrall had joked. Fourth face snorted quietly. The gathering here was far from fun. An amusing try, but the fellow didn’t have a future as a comedian…

What came next however took the cake. This group, right here… Would overthrow the Barons and the Monarch.

The idea was a madness he’d encounter while watching himself in the mirror. The presentation’s main point was so simple, yet so big, bigger than unlife itself. The promises and possibilities that existed in that small idea. And this group would be trusted with information to tear them down. Plan was simple, it was brilliant; hot coals of hatred were already laid between the vampire barons and the monarch. They would simply put some gasoline and watch as the inferno engulfed them.

And it had been done in the past, the thrall said. Michael wondered if this had happened centuries ago or if it was a lie, but he let the tough go. One who had summoned the lot seemed confident to this plan. And for reasons or others he had a trusted them with the information. Blood pack of course would keep everything revealed here confidential, and another would come if they were to take part in this revolution. Something Michael wasn't too happy about, but perhaps it'd be worth it.

Michael was bit too excited for all of this, so he tried to calm down in his bald round head. There were possibilities in all of this and he would take all the profit from it gladly. There were numerous risks too, Maccellan’s blood pack being one of the bigger things. Would he be able to take part with greatest effect to all of this? And even if he'd be able, they were toying with Barons. Jonathan Scott had once playfully said that “Blood pact is for your own safety, Fourth Face. Oh believe me, some rules are to be followed lest you be swallowed by shadows. Heh heh heh…” Year later he understood that his sire talked about the Barons. Force even Maccellan’s gang didn't want to toy with.

The group around the table had already said out loud the concerns that were bouncing within his mind. It was fine and all as he wouldn't have to be a doubter like them, so he would be left to ask about the cheese. Indirectly telling that he'd be interested, not only to thrall but the others around the table too.
He opened his arms, saying out “And what would we gain from orchestrating this revolution?”
He put his right hand on his chest, putting on an innocent smile. “Freedom is nice and all, but surely if we’re to risk our lives there’s more profit to this?”
He pointed his finger at the male thrall. “You did promise... Advancement, in that letter I received.”
He then emoted with his hand towards the other participants. Theatrical, but Michael couldn't help it. "Perhaps you too were promised... With this?"
After ending his speech, Michael leaned forward, put his weight on elbows and toyed with his thick, outwardly pushed lips with his right hand's fingers. A habit he enjoyed while waiting for an answer, as he didn’t have any beard to yank nor one would grow in his face.

Naturally revolution and overthrowing even few of them barons would give the Fourth Face a chance to rise to even greater heights. After some obstacles were destroyed first.
Got a post ready. I'll re-read it and post it in day or two.

EDIT: Changed my mind, read it just now and posted.
Well well well. There are two that would fit Michael well: Lenore "Raven" Nevermore (nice reference) or Daciana Vãduva AKA Lady Umbra. While I'd like an idea of "Be aware of them ravens", I think the Burroughs fits the Maccellan's gang better.
I've made a shorter post now. I will be quite busy for this week and weekend with possibly this period expanding to next week's Saturday so I'm giving people liberty to God-mode my character if needed.
If they were to follow Shiloh's orders- She had age, wisdom, experience and a truckload of information in the archives- they were to find Morgan as soon as possible. Robert was about to ponder opinions on should he start finding Morgan or not, and in latter case where he'd find the security cameras to follow her trail, when their Degree in Mathematics showed up. Talking about tracking spell with Mandy. It felt unrelated to anything before Emma explained the situation.

"Someone used magic to attack the office; Morgan is in pursuit. I can find the source of the attack, which I suspect is where Agent Blackwood is headed ” she told to the group, showing a floating fountain pen. Robert was shocked at the information, and a question came in his mind that Mandy had already put together in words: “Is… Jacob okay?”.

"Ah, yes, he and his daughter are fine. The girl... sustained a minor injury, nothing serious." Emmaline had told to the group. Robert was concerned greatly about this ordeal. Morgan aside, someone had attacked the Priest and Hawthorne Investigations's office. And from all of them they had targeted Jacob’s daughter. This was outrageous itself and it took some effort for Robert to keep his calm. Situation needed action, but not hot-headed rushing.

He clenched his fists and rose on his chair. ”Sol. We've been attacked. I'll take the agents at hand to find the source and deal with this.” He said before he slammed the laptop shut. It gave out a beep before going into sleep mode. He made a quick look at agents at hand, sharply stating ”Emma, lead the way. Mandy, you too should come.”
Robert definitely wants to follow the lead that tracking spell would give us. Someone has attacked the PHI, they shouldn't let it slip!
