I had a couple of pieces left. We went through them fast enough that we know to have more for next time
I just passed the candy to the kids who rang mah doorbell. That's all I did.

Haha thanks Leos - to be honest, I took some inspiration from Tulio and Miguel.

Yessss.....Road to El Dorado. Still my favorite example of Those Two Guys.
Dura didn't say anything for a while. She just sort of trudged up the snow-coated steps quietly. Possibly it was dredging up some bad memories, but she didn't physically show any sign of it. After a bit, there was a roll of her shoulders that suggested a shrug. When she spoke finally, her voice was measured and calm.
"Short of it was that I got ambushed by a pair of vampires who I reduced to ashes with a scroll, but not before being turned. But as we still got a way to climb, may as well give the long version. This was decades ago that I got turned. I was travellin' on my own, was gonna check out a tomb. As preparation beforehand, I bought a scroll of Bane of the Undead, in case I needed to make an escape. While in the woods, I apparently caught the eye of a vampire who thought I'd make a good fledgling. He and one other, probably another fledging that he turned, ambushed me when I was settling down for the night. I was physically forced to accept the bastard's blood and blacked out.
"When I came to, I was a vampire. And I was pissed. Don't think the bastards ever expected a recipient of their "gift" to thank them by unleashing a Scroll of Bane of the Undead. Probably wasn't the smartest idea, unleashing anti-undead magic as an undead. Probably only saved by the scroll's spell being made to not affect the caster. But I was in the rage, and I wasn't thinking straight. So once they were reduced to ashes upon the wind, I gathered my things and headed deeper into the wilderness. Had to come to terms with what I was now. Had to figure out how to live with it. Had to understand how to control myself in the presence of people. Control the thirst that comes with it. Hardest was to learn was how to not stand out. Learn how not to be the one who looks the most suspicious when something goes wrong. Was a couple of years before I felt comfortable in a city again."
When she finally felt silent again, they were almost to the top. Seems travellin' up a mountain takes less time when one's focused on something else. Not to mention all the animal hazards seemed to have been dealt with already. When they entered, she followed the sound of chatter and the smell of food to where everyone else was. Once there, she bent down to allow the small Khajiit off her shoulders then leaned against the wall away from others.
We'll see. I've got to retype an entire post that I tried to do when everything was goin' bonkers :T
Dura climbed the steps slowly and deliberately, making sure each step was on solid footing before taking another step, her steel boots crunching softly in the snow. Even with her ability to see in the dark, the storm impeded visibility heavily, so she focused on one step after another, each one taking them a little further to their goal. High Hrothgar, home of the Greybeards, masters of the Voice. When the Khajiit's spell spilled the conured voice into her ears, it pulled Dura from her reverie. So the cat knew that the spark of natural life had long since died in her. While it irked Dura slightly that she was found out so easily, by a cat of all things, she was not as surprised as she probably should have been. After all, it was a magic cat, and were cats not full of tricks? The orc started speaking, loud enough to be heard even in the din of the storm.
"Dura gra-Shurk, and as you apparently know, not one of the warm-blooded living. I am vampire. Have been for over a century now. I do my best to keep it a secret, so I would appreciate it if you didn't revel it to others."
Dura bent down when the Khajiit returned with her things.A She spared an internal chuckle at the sight of a cat in a cloak. Once she was low enough, she held her arm out for the Khajiit could climb up her. Speaking in a low voice again, she nodded and replied, "That is fine, it'll help pass the time as we climb up high to the castle just beneath the sky." Once the feline was on and nestled comfortably, Dura rose and open the door. They headed out of Ivarstead's inn, and into the dark of the night and storm to begin an ascent up the mountain's form. A vampire and a cat, an odd duo at the least, began the trek up stairs snow-made treacherous and sleek, scaling the ascent in weather bleak.
Posting what I have so far.

Name: Mylis
Age: 89
Race: Altmer
Class: Heavy Archer/Sniper (ARC, HA, ALC, SNE, SPE)
Appearance: Clicky!
Personality: Mylis is often serious, focusing on the task ahead. Be it murder or mayhem or hunting a dragon, that's where her focus goes. When not actively engaged in work while on a job, she's preparing for it. Making poisons, charging the enchantment, acquiring arrows, tending to her bow, and so on. The job and the pay come first. Can't live without pay, can't play without pay. Pay first, then play. Only once a job is done and she hasn't picked up a new one will she finally loosen up some.
Bio: ((Doesn't have to be super in depth, just state why your character joined, basic backstory, aspirations, etc.))
Equipment: A suit of unenchanted Bonemold armor, her identifying aspect being the red scarf she has wrapped around it. Her prized possession, a bow built from quality spring steel with a soul trap enchantment built into it, reagents for making poisons, and several soul gems of varying size, including some black ones. Several of each are filled with the appropriate sized soul, save grand and black, which she only has two filled each.
Other: Soul gems are mostly sold, rather than used.
I just realized that Clear Skies would be the most useful shout for a sniper. Why the hell did that take so long for it to click?

EDIT: THat said, Mylis isn't going to start with it, that's for sure.

EDIT2: I'm thinking of having Mylis in suit of Bonemold armor that was purchased during the time she did work on Solsteim, or should I go for something else for her armor?
Of course. I follow what I call the "One shot" rule when playing marksmen and women of any kind. One well-aimed, well-picked (in terms of arrow/bullet type) shot is vastly more effective then many rapidly fired shots. After all, why waste arrows downing troops when you break them by nailing their commander through the eye with a single arrow? As such, she should be considered a sniper, using her high stealth primarily to get to and between positions without being noticed. This is vital as her mobility otherwise is hampered by a preference for heavy armor. Because in all honesty, she has no intention in being sneaky up close, which calls for lighter armor, and if enemies manage to get her in close combat, she values thicker armor's ability to turn less-than-direct hits.
