For the vets, mainly: So, you guys probably have/had pictures in your heads of the events that played out last time, right? Well, Emerald has no pupils. It's one of the things that some Emeralds have. Kind of like Lapis's eyes when she was cracked, but green and less reflective. So that's an interesting image.

I don't think that the Diamonds would do that. For one, I sincerely believe that Yellow Diamond is about as smart/logical/materialistic as a 3rd grader, and two, what Akaya+ianzerep(do you have something else we could call you?) said.
Example: If they could control how gems came out, Emeralds would be a lot less insane, but still diverse in power.

They're basically a ultra-bureaucracy with a deep-running caste system.
