The Rainbow Blitz
Full Rulebook
The rainbow is a mysterious thing. Humans think it is merely light’s reflection in water molecules in the atmosphere. Humans have always been very naive. Their belief is not the truth, not even nearly. The rainbow is the source of this world’s magic, the magic which is based on color. The seven magical elements are all spread from the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Through all times, since the creation of light, this has been the truth. Many speculations have been thought and believed in by humanity, but none guessed what was really the case.
However, another kind of civilized life knew this truth all along, which existed undetected by mankind. Therefore, they had no name given to them by humans, but for simplicity’s sake we will call them ‘folks’ or ‘little people’. The physique of these creatures vary as much as animals themselves, split into countless races. The only thing they have in common is that they are all small, civilized creatures. As ‘big’ as rabbit or as small as an ant. Either way, they are indeed little people. These creatures have, if not able to manipulate the colors themselves, at least known of the magical construction of this world. They have all to a degree worshiped the rainbow, and celebrated when it has chosen to show itself.
Recently, something amazing happened. The rainbow spread itself over the land, more specifically a land where many civilizations of little folks were scattered, and converted into strange matters of color. The ones to discover these matters were known as ‘keepers’. The keepers soon became leaders of their respective societies, and did what pleased them with their colors, whether it was sharing it with the civilians or keeping it to themselves. The word spread, and the common belief became that the one to collect all the fragments of color would become the new lord of the rainbow, the almighty of this world. The keepers then made it their goal to collect the fragments, with goals like to cleanse the land with the rainbow or to become the dictator of all existence. The conflict starting soon after became known among the folks as the
Rainbow Blitz.* * *The roleplayer will be in control of a civilization where one of the citizens have become a keeper, and probably taken on an important role in the society. The inhabitants of this civilization are folks. The race of the folks are only limited by your imagination, it is completely in your hands. The general rule, though, is that these little people are never taller than one foot. Folks can inhabit anything, because of their size and diversity, so the geography of your little nation can be anything from a mountain to a pair of shoes. Remember, use this creative freedom wisely.
The goal is for your nation to obtain all the color fragments. Remember, there may be more fragments of one color, but rarely more than two. The one who obtains all of them will get the power of the rainbow, or so you’ve been told. The ways your nation chooses to use to get hold of all these colors, are up to you, if your nation chooses to try to get them at all. Whichever choice you make, if your nation has a color fragment, they will become part of the conflict.
I believe we need between 7 and 10 nations, and we're good to go. Hope people fint this interesting! I will personally be the GM, so I don't count as a nation. I think that is for the best.
