Oh you misunderstand. The infantry commander and i are an unstoppable force of deztruction of hold them in place and hit them in the vitals. For mother russia we are prepared for as many losses as we need to take.

Also, Serons doesn't refer specifically to beastmen alony, it just means an auxiliary, basically mercenaries of a different race

And to be fair...for every german grenadier squad you have like 3 conscript squads. And among my friends I'm notorious for creating a battery then shelling the crap out of everything before advancing. They do not let me team up with the infantry guy very often...Also, in this case, for Mother Stalin

Yeah, a lot of the mechanics can be seen in Dawn of War 2, like the cover, set up and teardown times and tanks being immune to small arms. I have to admit I feel bad when playing russians though. The general tactics is to use conscripts to hold enemies in place then shell the crap out of them...conscripts included.
