She is very introverted, and often chooses to listen rather than speak. Chiyome often falls into the role of the "shoulder to cry on", to to speak, in that she is relied on by friends for her emotional strength and willingness to listen. Chiyome adopts a serious attitude when the time calls for it, but she is able to relax during her downtime. She takes her duties seriously, and strives to be the best at what she does. Her primary ambition in life is to protect and maintain the honor of her family; she also aims to increase her family's status by excelling in her military service. Though she is young, she tries her best to keep up with her fellow soldiers in service to King Grey of Kanto.

naginata in combat that allows her to channel steel-type attacks. Also proficient in hand to hand combat to a lesser degree. Can understand Pokemon decently well. Skilled at handling aerial combat, wherein she can use flying-type techniques while in the air. She also has a basic education, allowing her to read and write. Coming from nobility, she knows how to conduct herself among high-class citizens.
History: Chiyome Mochizuki comes from a well-respected family of nobles in the kingdom of Kanto. Her family has a long-held tradition of becoming personal soldiers in service to the King, safeguarding the palace from generation to generation upon entering adulthood. Members of the Mochizuki family also traditionally take on more clandestine operations to serve the King's interests. Even before entering military service, members of the Mochizuki family are trained from early childhood in the art of combat in preparation for this service. This involves both practicing with weaponry and becoming proper Pokemon trainers. Chiyome takes up this mantle with pride, hoping to elevate her family's status. Using her ambition to drive her motivation, Chiyome trained long and hard in order to become a respectable member of the military. This became difficult to balance with the social demands of nobility, and as such Chiyome became somewhat introverted. Chiyome's father, a venerated veteran who served the King for many years, gave Chiyome her first Pokemon egg: a Scyther egg, which she was tasked with caring for. When it hatched, she was allowed to keep it, with the added responsibility of raising it to fight alongside her. This Scyther eventually became Chiyome's Scizor, her primary partner in battle. Over the course of her training, she was also given a Skarmory and a Marowak who would become trusted companions in battle as well.
When Chiyome received a strange letter from a messenger, she knew that this was one of those "clandestine operations" like those that her father had carried out during his own service. Why she was chosen, she wasn't sure; was it the legacy of her father? Or was it her status? She was no stranger to safeguarding members of the royal family (though nobody as high-profile as the Prince), was that it? Either way, she saw it as a chance to represent her family in these times of great strife in the kingdom.
