Everyone's posting about those cool games they're playing right now in their statuses. Me? I'm wasting my life and time with The Sims 4.

Why is there so much salt in the statuses, like of all the things we could be complaining right now.

There comes a point in your life when you really have to kinkshame someone and question in their tastes.

1. Introduce Yourself
So uh, hi. My name is Haru Nyan (Ignore the name, it has a long story.), I have no idea why you even bothered to stumble in my profile but hey, whatever I guess.
I come from the Philippines so if you're wondering about my timezone, it's UTC+8:00. I'm more of a Casual roleplayer, although I have tried Advanced in the past, I just found more comfort in the Casual side of the spectrum. When it comes to roleplays, I usually like Modern ones, Fantasy is also cool or better yet, Modern Fantasy! High School RP's are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, there's just something nostalgic about them that just brings me back. I probably won't do a Fandom RP unless it's something I am highly knowledgeable about, also I'm more of a Follower than a Leader, so uh, don't expect me to be a good GM. I'm not very forceful you see, and not really good about asserting myself. I probably won't do 1x1 RP's, I'm more of a group person you see. Smut? Never. My writing skills become piss-poor when it comes to smut.
As for stuff I enjoy, when it comes to music, I kinda prefer in-game music. I especially like the songs in rhythm games, BEMANI games come to mind, especially DanceDanceRevolution and Pop'n music. Anime? I don't really watch anime, not to say that I hate it or anything, I just don't really have the time. Death Parade is really cool though, the OP is catchy~. Studio Ghibli films are also neat, Totoro is so cute~<3 Manga? Do Doujinshi count? Those are as close as I get to reading manga, but then again they're more close to fanfiction than manga so, probably not. Video games? Who doesn't play video games nowadays? I love RPG's but don't really like FPS games, Fighting games are also neat, but the only one I've really invested in is Skullgirls. (My main team is Parasoul/Double/Eliza btw), Visual Novels are also something I like, especially bara ones (Big surprise there.) I'd name specifics of the stuff I've played but that would take up like, half of this bio.
I couldn't be bothered to even care about the last two who introduced himself, one's a nun and they're no fun. The other's some magician, I don't know, and frankly I could care less. Why couldn't the academy admit someone who was like, I dunno, Ultimate Master of Unlocking, maybe they could get us out. Or some Ultimate Digger or Driller, so we could dig ourselves into civilization again. Ultimate Explosives Expert? Bomber? Heavy Weapons Guy? Nothing that could actually help us force our way through or make an exit of our own?! Damn it, the more I think about that, the less stellar this academy becomes. Maybe that screaming guy from earlier was on to something, at this point, I'm about to scream and shout my head off from frustration alone. Then that chic chick suggest we go split up or some crap. Yeah, because that always works in situations like this, right? I rolled my eyes at the concept, there's no way there's a secret exit or some shit. Get real.
But to my utter and complete shock, everyone was already forming groups to try and explore this wretched academy. I'm just glad the nun went with that fashion girl, I'd hate to have her around me. Now, normally, I'd go solo in this kind of situation, but that cook approached me and that surgeon and asked us to join her. I weighed the options...If there's three of us and one of them decides to go all homicidal, at least one of us would be able to witness it first-hand and inform the others, in the state that they're in, I'm pretty sure they'd believe it. And while going solo would significantly reduce my chances of getting killed, going in a trio would even it out just as much. I've got nothing to lose. I shrugged and accepted the offer.
Not a moment too soon, Maria approached me and asked if we could explore together. Now to be frank, I was a little, actually no, I was VERY skeptical of her action...How do I know she won't lead me into a secluded place somewhere in the building and kill me right then and there? No, I shouldn't draw conclusions from my own doubts. Besides, I might manage to learn a thing or two about this devout, I've been so caught up with my work that I barely forgot that religion was a thing. Yikes, if my auntie heard that she would've killed me!
Maria mentioned something about her monastery having hidden tunnels from underneath and quite frankly, that was something I didn't know of! Huh, I'll have to put "Monasteries" among my places to visit once I get out of here, of course my priorities being Italy and Japan, but I digress. I nodded to the nun, trying to keep an upbeat attitude, besides, if she was such a stickler for her sacred rule book then she probably won't hurt a fly...Emphasis on "probably."
"I didn't know monasteries had that, but you're right. Let's move out."
I said, while exploring the huge building. After exiting the Gym, I booted up my card to see what destination we should head to first. In a friendly manner, I asked the devout where we should start. One of the most obvious choices would be the Junk Room, probably hidden among piles and piles of garbage no doubt. A restroom could also work, but with the two of us being female, we won't be able to explore the boy's room for any possibility of said hatch and/or exit. Although, it could also appear in places where one would least expect it...Say, the bathhouse! Maybe there's some sort of tunnel that's hidden underneath the hot spring! Nah...That sounds way too far-fetched.
It turns out that not everyone was fully introduced yet, one was a girl dressed in a nun's habit who called herself "Maria Oathkeeper" now, Rio isn't one for religion but she can certainly respect the faith of people and how it can lift up the spirits of many, whether in times of crisis or not, faith is a powerful thing and whether or not she uses it to propagate the truth and Good News or not remains to be seen. Quite polite too, I won't question her fashion sense, it speaks for itself quite frankly.
Then there was the Ultimate Illusionist "Pierce Lavigne", I turned head to both Maria and the dapper man, I was quite amazed at the selection they had. Now, I don't know much about the man, he is shrouded in an enigma, but yet he carries himself with a sense of confidence...and maybe even arrogance. He's sharply dressed, I'll give him that and he showcases his talents quite well, although how it would help in a situation like this is better left unsaid...Could he perhaps conjure an illusion of a better life? Nah. Up next was a rather meek and timid boy, as if one or two wasn't enough. Xavier, eh? I crawled through the back of my mind, I know I've heard that name from somewhere...and only when he revealed his talent did it strike the bell! He caused quite an uproar in the collection community, with such an array of objects, he might as well open up his own museum! Isn't that what most people do? Although, he doesn't strike as the type of person who would be proud of showcasing off his collections, I can understand that. Some people collect some of the...strangest things to say the least.
With introductions finally done, I finally took the time to look at the card we were given by that Monokuma fellow. After booting it up, I glanced at the map to find out that there were not only living quarters for each of us, there was also a traditional Japanese bath house, a cafeteria, etc. But no exit? I pondered on the possibility for a moment, and with a confident smile, I proposed a possibility for those in the gym.
"Listen, we won't get anywhere just standing idly by. Let's all split up to cover more ground, and try to find an exit if possible! Afterwards, let's all meet up at the cafeteria, sound good?"
Also, @Zenphilvian, since The Good Doctor is a no show, why not kick him out and let Vocab apply? It's a fair trade. And I might as well get the ball rolling, however I'll have to do that later this day since I have business to attend to.
Why don't we let everyone split up and search the school grounds or something? Like, they look for a way out and find none and eventually, you know, like set up some rules of their own.
