"It still could, if you would stop interfering." Alvios flipped upwards, forming two blades of light in his hands and kicking off the ceiling towards the ground below the flames. Upon landing, he swung with both blade, firing a cross-shaped blade at Jenso. "But if you can't make sacrifices, do you really think you will beat the entire Order of Chaos?"
Jenso's combination worked perfectly...until Jenso felt a deep gash along his left forearm. The light blade from Alvios' attack earlier hadn't been dissipated; instead, he had just held it behind him and shrunken it down. It was another pair of traded blows, as Alvios' free left hand cut into Jense's arm the moment before it connected, the forceful blow throwing Alvios up into the air. He let the momentum carry him upwards, kicking up off of a platform of light until he reached the ceiling, stabbing his sword in for something to hang on as he looked down at Jenso, coughing erratically as he healed his own gut of the minor internal damage. "Knocked the wind out of me with that one," he wheezed.
Alvios narrowed his eyes behind the helm over the top half of his head. "You're right...and you'll never go down if I don't make you endure anything either!" Alvios' greaves glowed for a moment before he dashed forward at incredible speed, getting in close and slashing horizontally at Jenso's midsection, the blade fueled with enough power to release an energy wave after the swing if he just tried to jump backwards.
Alvios had seen more than his fair share of Jenso using feint attacks and distractions in order to set up for more powerful techniques. Waves to cover his movements, fireballs to disrupt while positioning himself. He didn't even give the fireballs from above a second glance. Instead, as soon as Jenso dashed in for a kick, Alvios ducked under Jenso's leg, getting a good slash across Jenso's back with the blade of light in his left hand, before the sudden explosion sent him flying, skidding along the ground with the front of his jacket burnt away.

Thankfully, the explosion had also knocked him far enough away that he didn't have to worry about the fireballs that were raining down on his previous position. He stood up, rolling his neck once as his main sword began gathering its fragments back and reforming. "Don't think I haven't been watching you fight! Your raw power is ridiculous, but I see through your bluffs and real attacks now!" He got into a readied stance, to see how Jenso would respond. He would make Jenso come to him.
Alvios stopped as soon as Jenso's fist hit the ground, noticing the directed quakes. He jumped back to get away from the debris and to avoid getting trapped, and easily saw Jenso jump higher than he, prepared to slam down on him with a boulder. Not exactly classy. Or effective.

"Shatter." Alvios' main sword shattered into several light-clad shards, the same fragmented attacks that had been ripping apart the Swarm during their previous fights. The blades tore the boulder into worthless debris, and threatened to cut at Jenso from multiple angles. With the light blade still in his left hand, he launched another blade wave at Jenso, and launched himself back away from Jenso to land on a steady part of the terrain below, looking up to see how Jenso would fare.
"You're the one being stubborn, here!" Alvios moved to follow Jenso when he ran off with Melina, but was interrupted by the flame wave. Scowling, he brought his blade down hard, a blade of light splitting the wave and dispersing it. Upon revealing Jenso, he moved to catch his fist with his light-clad hand.

He drastically underestimated Jenso's raw strength. Even caught, he could feel bones in his wrist crack before the punch launched him across the room, Alvios tumbling on the ground a few times before managing to stabilize himself and land on his feet. The armor surrounding his wrist healed the tendons and bone of its own accord, and he formed a secondary blade, throwing two crescent blades of light at Jenso before rushing at the fighter again, intending to follow with rapid twin slashes.
Alvios swung down at Jenso, the light-infused blade threatening to split him straight down the middle. Unfortunately, Melina was also still right behind Jenso. He would have to get the girl to safety if he planned on continuing this fight.
Alvios looked at Jenso hard for a moment, before light began to surround his limbs and blade. Finally, the top portion of a knight's helm formed over his eyes, shrouding his gaze from Jenso.

"So be it."

~ End Of Chapter 117 ~
Alvios remained in a readied stance, silent for a time, before giving Jenso a very threatening glare. "Do you need to keep repeating that?! I just had to kill Cilia twice! Listening to the Swarm Queen spout that at me! I won't make that mistake again. The last obstacle for me Jenso, is making sure I don't hold back this time. I won't make myself kill Melina twice."

Alvios began walking forward, blade ready to be brought down on the struggling girl, and anyone in between. "I'll purge this as painlessly as I can. She will only die once, and be with her sister. I will burden my heart as much as I need to for the sake of the world. All lives are equal. If one must die to protect many, then that choice is obvious, no matter how close they are to me. I am not in the mood to argue this, Jenso. Stand aside. This is your only warning."
Alvios looked over at Jenso, incredulous. His grip tightened on his blade. "Jenso, stop. I don't know if you caught on there, but Cilia was a warrior. Head of the guard once the Swarm began showing up and she had to leave the inn to Melina. She..." Alvios paused, looking down at the young girl in front of him, struggling to fight the infection, tears on her face. His mind flashed back to Cilia, and both times he had killed her now.

Alvios lowered his head, and readied his blade. "... Melina doesn't deserve the same fate. I'll make sure the Swarm is purged for good, at any cost. Corona needs me to make this decision. So stand aside, Jenso!"
