Marik was walking along the boundary of the unclaimed territory and Rabin land. He'd been planning to explore the river earlier, but it had seemed unusually crowded had almost every point. He enjoyed a good fight, but it hardly seemed sporting to interrupt someone else's. At least this part of the forest was relatively quiet.
(Sleep well Star! ^^)

Aya feels her whole body stop in shock for a moment. She shifts back into a human and just stares at the cutest little creature before her. Her hands go to her cheeks and a smile creeps up across her face. "You! Look at you! Look at how cute you are!" She circles him once, taking note of his intricate spots. "You really are just like a miniature cheetah!"
"I've never heard of an ocelot, but if it's kind of like a cheetah... Well, cheetahs are really cool! I mean, Sacha is a cheetah!" Aya gives her wings a flap of frustration. "What kind of talk is that from Fabine? No matter what you shift into, it's important! Every animal is useful in some way. Besides, it's a part of who you are." She looks at him hopefully. "Please, can I see it?"
"Oh, oh!" If Aya could have blushed as a hawk, she would have been doing so right then. Instead she lands and preens her feathers for a moment with embarrassment. She is too flustered to notice his silence, and tries instead to press the conversation away from herself. "Uh, what do you shift into?"
"Yes! Definitely!" Aya nods, marvelling at the thought of it. "For once I wouldn't have to worry about whose going to come home with injuries, and we'd all work together. Life would be so peaceful." She shifts, taking to the skies to swoop around in excitement at the idea for a moment. "Hmm... How do you think we could go about doing that?" She questions, hovering slightly above his head.
Aya smiles happily at Destin's comment. "Oh, thank you! I always get so worried when I go to collect herbs you know. I keep thinking someone's going to attack. The shadows from the trees make the forest look so scary when I look at your side of the river." She thinks on the Rabins for a moment. "I'd like to believe that everyone doesn't attack unless their provoked but I should tell them about you. They wouldn't want to attack someone without reason." Her imagination fires up in a naive fashion. "Who knows, maybe one day they'll even learn to stop fighting each other?"
Aya presses her hands together happily and smiles at Destin's descriptions. "Wow, the Broms sound... Well, they sound kind of like the Rabins!" She laughs a little. "I wish we didn't fight all the time. Maybe we'd actually get along." She dips her head towards Destin in an apologetic fashion. "I'm sorry that I thought you were going to attack me." She looks away worriedly for a second. "What do you think your friends would do if they saw me?"
"She's got like dark brown hair and she shifts into a cat... She's pretty quiet, but she's so strong. And no one's as cool as Sacha! I admire both of them." Aya smiles at the thought of the two. "You must have people you look up to in the Broms, right?" She shuffles her feet awkwardly. "Maybe if you told me about them I wouldn't see them as villains so much. Right now they just seem kind of faceless."
"Sacha killed the last Brom leader...?" Aya cocks her head and thinks about what Destin is saying. She'd never heard that. Sacha was good in a fight, but never had she seemed the kind to kill. Not without reason, at least. She pulled her mind away from the thought and concentrated on his other statement. "We're not weak!" She felt a sudden rush of passion for her group mates. "I see them practice all the time! You should see Selena with her dagger! She's so cool!" She quickly turns back to Destin, not wanting to seem ungrateful at his offer. "I mean, it's a nice thought but... No, the Rabins can't be entirely wrong. I'd never leave them. They're my friends."
"He wouldn't...?" Aya didn't feel able to judge what Fabine would and wouldn't do, not knowing him at all. Of course she didn't really know Destin either, but he felt earnest enough. "Of course I do!" She casts her thoughts back to the camp for a moment, hoping that everyone was safe and enjoying the sunshine. "Why? What kind of things do you hear about us?"
