Aya huffs for a moment, and can't help thinking that boys simply had no common sense when it came to romance. Had Destin watched no romantic movies? "This is the kind of good luck I meant!" She pulls him in after hugging him and gives him a quick kiss on his lips. "There!" she tries to sound tough but her strawberry-red face gives her emotions away. "You stole my first kiss so... Well, I stole it back! So you better come back to date me, okay?" She gives a satisfied nod.
"I'll wait for you." Aya promises, and puts him down on the ground. She looks longingly at him and clears her throat. "Ah... Perhaps you'd like, um, something for good luck?" She stares awkwardly at the ground in front of his paws. This always seemed so much more natural in the romantic movies she'd watched as a child.
Name of character: Benjamin
Your name (nickname), only if something other than your screen name: MOSSEH
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance: A large man in height and weight who pays little attention to his appearance apart from a well-cared for moustache which curls neatly upwards. His head is bald, his face is square and thick, and his looks are what would generally be described as 'menacing' with unfashionable tattoos curling around his arms. Despite all that his green eyes are friendly, and his moustache hides a warm smile to anyone who cares to not be scared by him.
Personality: Benjamin is an unfortunate case in that his appearance does not match his personality. It plays him as a brute, and that's exactly the role he was put into in his family's organisation. In actuality he's the kind of person who sees the good in people no matter what and in any situation wants everybody to be happy. Unfortunately, he's not incredibly intelligent and is often blinded by his good faith which is why he is yet to notice the dark side to his family's business in shifting. Despite his goodness, if it came to it he would choose his family over anything else. He has lived his whole life among them and feels like he is stuck as a part of that world. While he dreams of travel, he wouldn't know what to do without a home to come back to. He's also incredibly clumsy when doing anything that isn't markmanship, and believes that a good serving of food is the answer to most problems.
Rank: Goon
Group: Mafia
Animal: Non-shifter
Weapon and Fighting style: Trained in using a dart gun and is a very good shot which he considers his defining skill. Despite his size, is a clumsy mess when it comes to anything other than his sharpshooting skills.
Other: Part of the Family, descended from The Boss. Has been told of his legacy as a shifter from the day he was born and thus really wants to become one.
Aya drew herself back to reality when they reached the rushing waters of the river. The water looked freezing, and her heart skipped a beat as she remembered finding Destin's body on the bank in the arms of Kianna. She sighs for a moment as she considers the memory. Hadn't she been a bit harsh to Kianna? She'd have to apologise to the Rabin at some point. It just seemed that recently she'd been distracted with the other Brom guest while Aya had her hands full with Destin. She quietly promised herself that however much she loved - she stopped herself there, feeling that maybe she should use that word quite yet - however much she came to love Destin, she wouldn't neglect her other campmates. "This is as far as I can go Destin." Aya tells him. "No need for a war to be started by me going over there now, you know?"
Aya clasps him in her arms and stands up. "We'll go the river together, okay?" She didn't wait for answer, but just started walking. She was young and had all the time in the world to spend with Destin, but she felt as though she couldn't wait another moment to be with him. She blushed as she happily thought about kissing him afterwards. Then she'd get to tell everyone in the Rabins about them... And she'd write to her grandmother and parents and they'd be so happy... Her head filled with fantasies as they went.
"How about... We talk to her together?" Aya visibly winces at the idea that spills out of her mouth. Talking to a Brom sounded like suicide. What would Sacha say to her? Either way, if this person was going to be a healer than she needed to have the type of personality which didn't lead her to jump to a fight at every second. She stayed quiet and waited for Destin to give his thoughts on the idea.
Aya takes one of his paws into her hands and rubs it with her thumb while thinking. "Maybe someone will show up who can take the role for you? Isn't there any Brom who knows something about herbs?" She thinks about leaving the Rabins, just for a moment. Her heart hurts at the thought of it, not to mention they'd run into the same problem either way.
Aya's heart began to beat quickly at the thought of Destin staying with the Rabins. "I... I think she'd let you, right? You guys are old friends and all. The only problem she has with you right now is that you're a Brom... And if you weren't..." Wait, isn't this selfish of me? Aya stops talking, thinking that Destin must have similar feelings for the Broms as she did the Rabins. Even though she personally had no feelings of love for the camp on the other side of the river, wouldn't leaving them be hard for them? Not to mention, who would ensure that the Broms stayed well throughout the winter? If someone died, wouldn't it be her fault? "... But... Is that really a good idea?"
Aya pulled him in closer to her, and lets out a sigh. "You didn't ruin anything Destin. I'd love to go out with you... I know we're both just kids but I feel something special with you too. I don't want to leave you." She feels warmed by his fluffy body in the coldness of the day. "Why do we have to be in groups like this? I don't like the Broms... but I'd rather be with they be part of the Rabins. That way I could be with you."
"Ah, let's take a look at you." The Boss murmured, fully focused on Ambrose. He pulled back the grey sheet and froze. It was like looking back into the past. At the first son. His first son. "Harvey?" He whispered, feeling a strange sensation grab his heart. Was at last going mad? Harvey had died a very, very long time ago. There's no way this could possibly be his son. He took a step back and glanced over at Liwei. "This... This subject-" He cut himself off. "This boy... I don't... Take him elsewhere. Take him away." He rushes as fast as his weak legs can take him over to his desk and the album of photos.
