"More blood..." Brianna nods slowly. "Sibling blood. That would be a first for the lab." Her face lights up and she smiles at Hunter. "That could be the last piece of the puzzle. It could perfect the formula!" She narrows her eyes at Ambrose. "Even in this state, we might be able to get information out of him about where he came from..." She sizes up Hunter. "Do you consider yourself an interrogator?" She lets Ambrose carry on as he pleases.

References of all my charries (and some more) so I get to see Sorrel draw at least one of them. ^^ SORREL, I HAVEN'T DRAWN A PROPER PICTURE IN OVER A YEAR SO... YEAH YOU MADE ME DO THAT.
There's two new characters here. One is Aiden (due to popular demand from Sorrel XD) and the other is my new character Alto (my gay child). Given that this picture seems to be Rabins on the left, Servals in the middle and Broms on the right... I guess that makes him a Brom. XD
So left to right it's Aya, Marik, The Boss, Brianna, Benjamin (in the back), Alto and Aiden. :D
Ignore~
Brianna feels warmed by Hunter's small smile for just a moment. The warmth disappears when Ambrose takes the paper and pen. She sighs and crossly pulls out another pen from her pocket. It was a good thing she usually kept a few extras on her. She taps the pen to her lips thoughtfully. "I wonder what this all means? Most subjects we've encountered have spent time away from home. So many mysteries to the mind and memories." She picks up the paper and doodles a chubby parrot. "Ptelea is the name of the subject's sister." she explains to Hunter and then gestures towards Ambrose. "Vivisection is rarely my field, although I do relish the results of what you achieve. As someone of that background, what do you make of this display?"
"Ah, I know you've experimented in the past on some that I was not involved in," Brianna looks at Hunter curiously. "The hallucinogens are a first for me with shifters. Have you maybe dabbled in them before? You sound experienced." As Ambrose spasms and screams she calmly pulls the pen from her pocket and begins to write down observations. "I have used them before on other subjects. My favourite part is hearing the range of visions that they see." She shows Hunter what she's written down for one of her notes. It's a cute doodle of a swamp monster.
Brianna sighs and steps back to join Hunter's side. "Now we wait. And we hope that he doesn't attack us in anyway." Her eyes slide over Hunter. "Ah, but you'll keep me safe, right?"
Brianna was grateful to Hunter's intervention. "You don't want to go along with this? You think you can escape us, Ambrose?" She glares coldly at him. Her voice is tight and the some of the hair in her bun has fallen out a bit. For a moment, she resembles a bad woman. She bends down, squatting with her face inches from Ambrose's. She presses the edge of the syringe to his neck. "Maybe you'll get out of here one day. Maybe not. The one thing I can promise you regardless is..." she whispers into his ear, confident that he can't escape Hunter's grasp. "... You'll never escape me. Even if you lose every memory, I promise I'll be there in your dreams." She stabs the syringe in and injects the drug. A name flashes up in her mind from the text The Boss sent her. "Just like you can't escape the memory of Pterea."
Brianna recoiled from the pain in her foot. Her expression twisted momentarily in rage, "Why you little-" she inhaled sharply and forced herself to calm down. He was trying to get her riled up. She was the only person who could influence her own emotions. She couldn't let him take over. Her face smoothed into a calm facade and she happily took the syringe from Hunter. "Ah, at least there is one true gentleman in the room." She nods gratefully and for a moment watches the strange coloured liquid in awe, holding it to the artificial white light from the roof. "I think we need to be careful of him," she warns Hunter and then turns to kick Ambrose in the stomach with her sharp heel.
Brianna notices that in Ambrose's state he had no strength to stop her from doing anything. There was something satisfying about seeing him cringe and fear her. Feeling lust of power overtake her she walks over to his body and tilts his chin up with one hand. With her other she digs the thumb into the burn line left by the skewer on his cheek. "Look at you... pathetic." she shakes her head. "Why The Boss chose to protect you over all the others I'll never know." She glances over at Hunter. "Let's inject the drugs."
"Ah, the subject?" Brianna glances over at Ambrose's sleeping form and frowns. She hadn't seen him awake. "Well, kick him awake for a start. Goodness Hunter, I do hope this experiment wasn't that taxing on you?" She shakes her head. "Oh, I don't mind." She flaunts some results on a clipboard in front of him. "I think I've figured out the genetic marker which denotes shifting! I sent it through to the lab scientists... They should be able to create a gene-therapy serum which flips the switch in the DNA." She leans in as if to hide the truth from Ambrose. "Equally, they should be able to stop the shifting ability altogether." She pulls back. "Of course, experimental data is always necessary. Bring out the hallucinogens."
