"Reina?" Brianna purrs. "The little we left bleeding in the alleyway? Oh, she's not going to help you now Ptelea." she stresses the name to make sure that Ptelea notices the knowledge she holds.
Brianna thinks for a moment. What would be the best persona for their purposes? Although she loathed to do it, the choice was obvious. Creepy scientists always did the best to startle young children and the Boss wanted the girl to weep pathetically and beg for her brother to come save her. She pushes her glasses up to the bridge of her nose and grabs a spare scalpel before going to the cage. "Ooooh, hello there sweetiepie!" Her own voice sickens her in its eerie tone.
Hours later, the sun rose over an unsuspicious warehouse. The day was bright outside despite the cold weather. However, inside darkness hung over the furnishings as if night had slunk into the room itself to hide from the sunlight. In a far corner of the large place was a makeshift cell. Its contents? A tiny little girl laying on a hard grey bed as if she had fallen asleep there willingly. Brianna couldn't stop herself from looking at the child. It distracted her as she tried to set up the recording equipment according to The Boss's latest text. I wonder if Lilian got the present I sent her? She mused, thinking of her niece.
Brianna huffs and gets into the other side of the car. "Well, I don't need to know them, do I? Let's just get on the way. Somebody's going to notice a little girl lying in the alleyway sooner or later and then we'll be in a whole different kind of trouble."
Brianna whips a pen out of her pocket and holds it right in front of Hunter's nose, as if she were threatening him with a knife rather than a piece of stationary. "How dare you even insinuate that to me, Hunter. I might not dabble in vivisection but I get a job done when it needs to be done." She retracts the pen and slides it back into her pocket. "Do you have the directions to where we're supposed to keep the girl in the meantime?"
Brianna nods, glad that the job was done. "Oh, I'm never going to leave my lab again after this." she sighs, drawing her labcoat a little closer around her in the chilly night. "Ah, but..." she looks at the tiny unconscious Ptelea. "We should be careful with her, right? She can't take as much brutality as the boy did."
As Reina comes around Brianna grabs her wrist and stabs the tranquiliser dart deep in there. "Nighty night sweetheart." she coos, looking with satisfaction at Hunter's own catch.
"Here they come..." Brianna presses herself against the wall and waits for Reina to come around the corner. "Both of them are coming. That's even better than I anticipated! You go for the target, I'll take out the extra one."
Brianna grins at Hunter and takes one of the tranquiliser darts in her hand. She could stab the girl with it if all else failed. She then let out a horrifying scream. It was like it came from the set of a horror movie, high-pitched and exaggerated beyond belief. "Oh, please! Somebody help me!"
