Regardless of the admirable morning, Variel slammed the wooden door of her hut and trudged off angrily over such a silly little discovery she had recently made. She had sent a letter to an Orzammar resident requesting a sample of darkspawn blood to be sent to her straight from the Deep Roads. Of course the courier agreed to it, but after two months of not hearing from him, she received word that he was killed. This infuriated Variel for she needed it to learn the Blight Wolf form if possible. And if the Courier is dead, she cannot succeed. "How dare he get himself killed. Shame on him for disrespecting my word," she mumbled under her breath.

With a fling of her wrist, she disposed of her black cowl and revealed her features. Her hair was an elegant chocolate brown that fell onto her shoulders in waves. The hair was mid-length, and she quickly pulled it back to do a full braid. As she advanced further into the Wilds, her eyes locked on to a patch of flowers and many types of plants. But there was something about those eyes. They were a bright, vivid orange; around the pupil was a ring of gold, giving them a flame-like appearance. And when she approached the patch to pick herbs, they swayed away from her, as if her flame-like gaze were to melt them away.
Hawksong had watched as Deathshadow stomped off in a fit of acrimony. With a hard gaze, she'd turn back to face Duststar and would dip her head politely before dismissing herself. She looked around for the fresh-kill pile as her stomach started to growl, and spotted it from afar. She nonchalantly advanced towards it as disapproving whispers and stares still plagued her from all around the camp. Normally, Hawk would be timid enough to back off and isolate herself from the others, but what was wrong with being a little rebellious for once?
Beforehand, though.

The orange-brown pigmented feline straightened her stature, puffing out her chest as if she was all high and mighty and held confidence. Which she currently didn't. But, these cats didn't have to know that! Lastly, her expression became stoic and her cropped caudal vertebrae coiled neatly over her hip, finally trudging over on light feet. The she-cat would stop at a reasonable few feet, diverting her eyes down to study the distinct bleached feathers of a bird. She leaned down to grab it with alabaster little teeth, but something stopped her. Turning around, she'd grin at the cats watching her and state, "I'll just go hunting." and she ran off into the forest.

Some time later, Hawksong returned with a thrush and a small field mouse in her maw. She'd quickly drop the prey in the fresh-kill pile and lick her chops. She had caught a third, a thrush, in which she had eaten in the forest so she could focus better. Shielding herself from few glares, she'd look around for the cat she met and finally caught the sight of his shadowed coat. Hawk quickly bounded over to him and sat, saying nothing.
I don't mind pictures unless it's anime.
But I suppose I can make an exception if that's the case. :3
