*nominates Hakuren as the tank, sponging up everyone's attacks like the nice guy he is* 83

ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ BRING IT!

Lol, no, Haku's going to be a magician XD More precisely, one of those sorcerers/wizards, who focus on magical damage and traps, not on healing and buffing.

It would be interesting to see one of the characters as a healer giving the wrong kind of buffs X3
Luke said "Ouch, you've got quick feet but I really don't want to hit you again. So why don't you let us leave and we'll invite you guys to a dinner with Death next time?"

'These people seriously didn't get the metaphor.' Hakuren thought 'Then again, meeting Death would be interesting. I wonder if he plays tarot.'
He had been circling his opponent for awhile, striking every time he saw an opening, much like a viper, and only once had his attack succeed, being a kick at that. His hands had never been useful in such situations, yet, fortunately, they came in handy in other, delicate predicaments.
On a side note, the hooded black-haired man did appear sincere in his proposal for a truce. He had made no clear signs of wishing to counter, nor had he moved much for that matter. However, the youngster in the midnight green coat didn't buy it. Sweet-talking was what he ate and served, thus it was far too easy to distinguish.
Luke said "Really, we're friends."

"I see. So you like making your friends pipe down?" the lad laughed as he sprang forward for another opportunity.
Just as they had finished exchanging those words, the stranger released Leila and, rather than humbly assist her with taking the handcuffs off like a true gentleman would, he shoved her straight at her incoming comrade. The 'hero' managed to dodge by a hair, which left the damsel in distress tumbling down to the lake like a log. His instinctive reaction was to look behind him, in order to make sure she was ok, but he stopped midway and turned his attention back to Luke, who had taken advantage of this diversion to promptly escape. Letting out a "tsk" sound with his mouth, the human's two green-blue eyes followed their target as he reached a safer distance, away from the sight of the fight.
Luke said "Well, catch you next time, I guess?"

"Sure" he smirked "Hope we meet again, even though we had a rocky start of a relationship."

By the time Leon limped over to his side, Hakuren was not feeling in good condition. Once the young man had finally held to a stop, he felt the weight of his exhausted muscles. It was both surprising and not illogical to begin with. They had walked through Yonder, hiked up and down a trail to the caves and had to fight off these thugs. Albeit he was not out of shape, the wounds on his head contributed to the disturbance in his bodily order, as fibrin, that magical protein, tried to cease the bloodloss, whilst mitochondria strained themselves in attempt to produce enough energy for excessive movement and healing. It was as if he was a drum at a rock concert, with the drummer being overly passionate about his instrument. Pressing his right hand against his forehead, the sensation of touching liquid and something sticky innervated his receptors. Soon enough, he began to feel lightheaded. The student could keep himself on his feet, but he couldn't help but lose the sense of his surroundings little by little. Only the more important events were registered in his brain. Like how Bear suddenly went out of character and barked at their attackers, snatching back the list. Or when Leon countered their comment with a daring statement. It made him smirk. He would have loved to join in the mocking, but nature had other plans. The throbbing did not cease, nor did the sense of dizziness. It was similar to that time he had gotten drunk, only it hurt far more and he wasn't crying. In fact, he was smiling, something so bizarre it was creepy.
The goddess of luck smiled upon them as the Living List was retrieved. The Bear had saved the day, despite being a klutz. Only escape now remained and before them stood a fearsome obstacle. The hooded quatro apparently did not intend to walk out of the cave without the list. Both sides were preparing for a second round, yet Hakuren knew he wouldn't last long in his current state. He was on the brink of falling unconscious. There was barely enough energy for him to move. Tightening his grip on his hair just a little bit, the lad murmured under his breath:
"And miss out on the fun? No way."

With the arrival of their guides the ending scene began. The curtain was about to fall on this little spectacle. A familiar loud yell woke him up from his hazy daze just in time for him to embrace the incoming Dissonance, who tackled him into a hug. Her overly concerned self was adorable and he couldn't help himself from petting her between her fluffy white ears.
"Don't worry too much." he smiled happily "I'm fine."
Serenade said "I'm glad you're all here and I'm sorry we couldn't have come earlier. Those people are bad news, I didn't know they'd be here...it's been so long since any of them made an appearance. Really, I apologize."

The stern, but kind black rabbit told them all. Apparently, the quartet, who had nonchalantly left, were familiar with the Nobodies or at least it was the other way around. The youngster noted in his mind to ask about this later, if he could even remember what had happened after he had his much needed rest.
Serenade said "Let's go--"

The dark hare could not finish her sentence, for a light humming song of sadness waltzed in slowly, twirling gracefully through the air, like a snowflake in the first snowfall of the year. It was the siren's song.

Silently watching the fleeting memories of a life gone past, the only thought that could occur in Hakuren's mind was:
'Where's the Pause button when you need it?'
So much useful information came and went. He was at the right place, at the right time, only his mind was in no condition to record. What he managed to make out of the flashbacks were the figures of those hooded people, the mayor, some woman and bits and pieces of dialog. From what could be seen, this was the witch, who had been drowned in the lake. How convenient. It could serve as a vital clue for the closure of the case. Unfortunate it was that he couldn't catch everything. There was one scene which grasped his on-the-brink consciousness, though. It was the third tape, where a conversation between the witch and two of her mysterious companions occurred. One of them was the young man's sparring partner, who was shaking with cowardice, whilst the other closely resembled that unnamed person, who had been the first to deliver a blow to his head. The witch addressed her as Caitlyn, yet when she had introduced herself in the cave, she had stated she knew not her own name. How peculiar.

By the time the film ended, Hakuren was resting atop the rocky uneven ground, not moving a muscle, other than the ones required for breathing. His wounds had almost stopped bleeding, yet he had lost enough to feel completely out of it. His body protested against getting up and he listened to it. Not that he really had a choice in the matter. It was far too troublesome to stand. However, thinking about it for a moment, he considered it would be more comfortable to lazy about somewhere warm, on soft white covers and maybe one or two girls around. The realist in him confirmed that the last element wouldn't be present, not now at least, but there was no true reason to give up all hope either. Everything was possible in Nowhere.
To push himself to a sitting position was a painful task, thus he took a moment to look around before attempting to move once more. Everyone else, apart from Harper, were still on the ground. When the glasses boy got to take a look at the Living List, Hakuren was close enough to notice that "A Siren's Song" had vanished. They had completed their mission.
"Two down, eight more to go." he laughed. Despite feeling pain all over his body, this weirdo still had it in him to smile.
Gosh, Mado, I love your style XD
Mado said "Give me the list and your head comes off."

"OFF WITH HIS HEAD!" shouted Red Queen Mado.

Good morning, everyone. Greeting you all with a little video:

This is Add, the newest character of Elsword, which is still not available for EU and US. I got bored with the game, but when Add comes around, I will so reinstall the game and play X3

Also, Fox-chan, I don't advise you to post something with a lot of development on the Luke-Haku battle, since Leo needs to come it. Lets make them brawl some, with hits and evasion and all that jazz, but nothing too over the top.
XD Ze Grizzly! EDIT: The picture works now =3 .....WHY MUST HE BE SO CUTE?! I thought he'd be some big macho. Not a...not a...sweetheart T_T

Well, me and Nadi have posted. Not much of our teamwork has come to light, but it will in Nadi's next post, where Leo comes in.
Just so we can be clear on something, I don't mind if Haku gets hurt, just not with a pipe or pole. Something serious like that would send him unconscious.

|| BATTLE TABLE ||

Harper - ???
Ace - Gary
Mado + Jasper(?) - Sacchin
Hakuren + Leo - Luke

|| NEW SHIP ||

Sacchin + Jasper = Bear couple

A sigh of a questionable kind escaped Hakuren as he sat amidst the piles of rocks. Leon approached, unfazed by much of what was happening around them and made his suggestion. Pushing himself in order to stand on his two legs, it was as if the psychology student saw being made to rise abruptly as a small, irritating matter. Taking one step forward towards Mado, the trios were now closely together. He looked at her and whispered words only the three of them could hear.
"Mado-chan, retrieve the list, will you? Cut anything as much as you like, just not the paper. And Leo," he glanced sideways at his partner in crime, a small line of red going down his temple. "wrestling isn't a good idea right now. Just follow my lead."
Taking one step back, he looked at them both, hands in his pockets, relaxed, as if he had met up with friends and had not a care in the world. But behind this farce of inactivity lied a hidden agenda. Once assured that the stones beneath his feat were just the right base he desired, Hakuren bent his knees only a little bit, presumably about to crouch, yet sprang sideways, towards Luke and Leila.
At a high speed he raced, using the information he had gathered about the terrain in his advantage. Not once did he quiver. Not once did he trip. It was either his precise memory brought into action or the fact that the cocktail of hormones, served after the first blow to the head, had set the body on an auto survival mode. Chances were it was both, with a pinch of the madness that dwells within each of us. How insane the lad was on the inside could not determined quite easily, but it could certainly be said by examining his appearance. A young man racing at full speed, with blood splattered on his head and shoulders, still dripping as he moved. The slight grin, which grew with every fleeting moment, was the cherry on top.
Drops of crimson stained the cave's floor as the youngster headed forwards like a torpedo. His course appeared determined, not a thing could divert him from his path. However, just as he neared his target, suddenly he took a sharp turn to the side, where the man's hand was occupied with holding Leila's handcuffs. Once establishing his new position, he jumped backwards, in order to use a stone to thrust himself forwards and landed where the hooded's back initially faced. Once more he made a sharp turn, yet made sure to leap and jump further away, for he would now be facing the pipe's side and getting hit once more would lead to disastrous consequences. At all times, he made sure to keep his green-blue eyes on his opponent, in order to head-dodge and evade the metal weapon. Soon enough, he completed a full circle around the stranger and began another and another, this time even faster and gradually shortened the distance between them. This logically made not much sense at first, yet had plenty of reasoning behind the curtain.

In the short time Hakuren had lived in this current life, there were many things he had experienced. Joy, sadness, curiosity, pain. The pleasures almost always weighed as much as the hardships. An inevitable element of his growing up was the common lawless street. Despite never having one defined home, in which he belonged, there had been many alleys, streets, lanes and the like, which he had crisscrossed and examined with the curiosity of a cat. It was impossible for him to not learn that the old phrase "curiosity kills the cat" was not simply a figure of speech. In his younger years, he had gotten caught and beaten several times, yet each time he found himself rising and becoming stronger. For better or for worse "stronger" was not directly used in the literal sense of the world. Of course, his body inevitably toughened a bit, but he did not earn nicely formed sweaty muscles, a gigantic back or plates. Apparently, the boy's body was never built for it. Instead, his legs became powerful enough to sustain a time-consuming run, in other words, his stamina rose and so did his speed and agility. Between fight and flight, he had always chosen flight, knowing that he could never knock out someone with just one punch, unless it was some miracle. This decision enhanced his hips, tights and feet enough to save his life many times when he got on the nerves of the wrong crowd. The occasional obstacles lying around, such as boxes, trashcans, benches, sleeping people, bottles, and basically trash, had increased his ability in judging his surroundings quickly for the purpose of maneuvering or utilizing the said items against his pursuers. It had been amusing to see how people flared and yelled at him, once he reached a place they could not reach. He had had to bare a good amount of beat when he began venturing out into the dangerous areas, but it was all well worth it.

The situation at hand did not offer any specific objects, other than stones perhaps, yet kicking them would be hard and bending to grab one would be far too pricy. Thus the lad in the midnight green coat did the best thing he could. Confuse the opponent. The stranger had Leila in his grasp, which limited his movements significantly. Furthermore, he had to keep track of Hakuren's consistent shifting, which undoubtedly would make one's head slightly dizzy after awhile. If he did not pay attention when the youngster headed for the back, there would automatically be an opening, which Hakuren attempted to take a couple of times, yet failed (?). Regardless of his misses, he kept on circling the man, coming closer and then backing away, in order to avoid the pipe and kicks that got sent his way. There was no need to hurry. He had all the time in the world.
More or less completely ignored by the group, Hakuren quietly took in the prodding from one of the hooded individuals as a little blessing. It could have been another hit to the head, which would have definitely sent him to the abyss that was his unconsciousness. This being said, he stood still in his sitting position among the rocks, awaiting the continuation of the play.
Whilst his newest eery companions turned eye and ear towards the direction, from whence the unfamiliar sound came, the young man in the midnight green coat stared at the ground, yet not blankly. He surveyed the terrain and established several steady routes for movement, but his main objective was comprehending the stability of each of the attackers' locations. The many different stones and boulders could serve as one's ally or enemy and if push came to shove, he intended to use them for his own benefit as well as possible. Another figure, which befell his observation was Leila, the puppy girl and partner in the drag-along that was Dissonance's cheerful jog. Currently the only new human not under a net, her hands remained cuffed and held by a person, who seemed rather cheerful and friendly, not to the same extent as the mighty Pinky, of course. Holding a pipe in his other hand, he certainly seemed to carry the role of 'treasure keeper' and his footing was not unsteady at all. The youngster would have delved in more into his proportions and the girl's lovely twisted position, were it not for the familiar voice, which rang through the cave.

Harper said "Guys?" Harper stood at the entrance with Jasper between him and Ace. "W-What's going on?"

"Nice of you to join the tea party" Hakuren responded, smiling as always, albeit he might have appeared a bit frightening, due to the contrast between his casual expression and the blood that was dripping from his head.
Ase said "Looks like someone started the party without us."

He could only smirk at that. This ginger-head had flames burning in her eyes already, the kind that would eradicate anything simply to get a taste of battle. It was a pleasant sight, indeed.

The woman, who had delivered the first attack, approached the newcomers, yet the black-blue-haired lad did not pay much mind as to what they conversed about. The topic was already far too clear for him even before anything had been spoken. It would be a negotiation for the Living List. Rather than listen in on what was being said, his sharp green-blue eyes instantly began creating a map, using the information gathered prior to the assault and during the silence in imprisonment under the net. It did not bare great detail, however, it provided the much needed basics of the loci each and every being occupied and the possible teams they could create.
At present, Harper, Jasper and Ace stood at one of the entrances to the cave, along with the cloaked female pipe-wielder, who had made her way towards them. Leon, Mado and himself were surrounded by a trio, consisting of Pinky; her giant guardian and Jolly Roger, the person who held Leila captive. The first mentioned stood between them and the newly arrived, becoming the first wall, which required penetration. Her tall companion took a stance to her right, a short distance from where Hakuren sat, which was unfavorable, seeing as he could hinder any attempt of escape. The third had taken a steady position to her left, further away that the second man. This left an opening towards the entrance the cave investigators had used, which was good fortune, for they knew how to go throw it. If ever the need to make a quick exit came, it would be the best option, provided the nets got lifted, of course. If the secondly mentioned did not occur, it would leave the fight 4:3 in favor of the opposition/thieves/crooks/just plain weirdos with hood, not to mention the quartet had weapons and obvious experience, whilst the trio most likely had something next to nothing. Overall, it would be a very unfair battle that would lead to his team's demise. The most plausible methods of winning were either gaining the upper hand through numbers, which would require the prisoners' release, or for Harper to take a hike and call the Nobodies, due to the fact that if he got captured, more precisely if the List got captured, it was game over for all of them. Needless to say, Hakuren did not favor the taste of losing. It was a vile, bitter flavor, one which did not go well with anything. The lad preferred softer, sweeter things, one of which was victory. Albeit he wished to obtain the sweet nectar the Olympic heroes savored, his contribution to the cause would need to wait only a few heartbeats.

Quick she was on her legs, indeed. Like a graceful fox running through the high grass and over a river, trot trot trot over the stepping stones. Ace zipped past Pinky, the little devil whose pole had been returned by the Grizzly, and swiftly took the nets off her comrades. It was as if a mountain had been relieved from their shoulders. The heavy items had been shoved aside, as if they were as light as melted butter. Despite his new-found freedom, the young man did not move a muscle. Perhaps it was because of the pounding in his head, perhaps from the tiredness he so often ignored, or maybe it was just for his own amusement that he did not attempt to get a move on at first and chose to simply observe as events unfolded before him.
Harper had tackled the woman who had requested the List, taking her down into the depths of the lake. However, in the process of doing so, the Holy Grail of their journey in Nowhere had slipped out and was being chased by the most notable individual from the group, Jasper the Bear. Already a klutz by nature, the ridiculous expression she wore on her face and the even greater tangles her legs created intrigued the observer. A foolish slobbery smile. Singing drowsily. Tilting unconditionally sideways and eventually falling flat on oneself. Such behavior was easily recognizable as a drunkard's, a dead drunken woman. This turned his smile from a light to a playful one and several possibilities crossed his mind, yet he put them away for later when all would become calm and peaceful.
It is said that God watches over those who fall victim to alcohol. Well, God probably got some popcorn and 3D glasses on, because the scene was hilarious. The white-haired girl desperately did her best at keeping her footing steady, yet tripped and kissed the ground. This was taken of notice by the Grizzly and, albeit he approached to merely take the List, he stopped, pitying his sister bear. He gave her a handkerchief as a token of his kindheartedness, but did not help her thoroughly, for he considered it an unwise decision, due to their current situation. A little piece of comedy never hurt anyone, apart from Bear.
This humorous moment a small breath of fresh air for those, who had witnessed it, yet it was not without its additional profits. The tall man had changed his location, moving further and further away from the captives. It drove him closer to Pinky and blocked the five entrances on one end of the cave. To balance this out, it also left Leila and her 'master' stranded, as well as a free route for escape from the entrance on the other end of the cave. If they were to bale it out of there, only Hakuren, Leon, Mado and Ace would be capable of reaching safety first, whilst Jasper, who would slow them down, Harper, whose whereabouts were at an unknown depth in the lake, and the List would stay behind. As much as he would hate to admit it, saving his own skin wasn't an option this time around.
Hey, everyone. Haven't posted in a while, have I? =3 The reasons for that are two:
1. Last week before a short break, which is also a week by the way, and we have a couple of tests.
2. I'm a bit hesitant about posting, seeing as we'll have to fight.
Haku will be targeting Luke and I'm currently thinking of a game plan, which I feel a bit insecure about, seeing as I've never entered an actual fight in role-play form, thus I am scared of going overboard. Technically speaking, Hakuren and Leon will be working together, so spoilers~ That's why Oblivion hasn't posted, yet =3 We've been scheming behind your backs!

Will write today, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish, since it is rather late here. This being said, I might post tomorrow. I have a test on literature tomorrow, though. Not to mention the history teacher will be asking some questions -.- Well, she likes me, so I'll probably get away with it. In any case, excuse us if we are late~

EDIT: Fox-chan, could you delay your post a bit? I don't have time right now, so I will be posting tomorrow (after about 9 or 10 hours from now; not entirely sure), since I want to get some sleep. I will come around and post though. Just don't run off without me XD
Just dropping in to say "Hi", so HI =3, and to present you all with a little musical piece.

Music Night with Headphones presents: The forest at night
I have one food picture in the cluster in my previous post =3

Also, guys, check this out XD

Kimchi said @Fox: Sorry didn't see that question. This was the original^ Hatsune Miku I think.

Nope, that isn't the original. Just a piece of art some fan remixed =P

Kimchi said @Headphones: Wow.. just read your post. I love how you can stay so phuken sophisticated and poetic while your chara takes blow after blow to the head. RESPECT my friend respect.

Thank you~ And thank you~
Hehe, Jasper got drunk from the goo. I wonder what Hakuren shall doo~

John said THIS IS FUNNIER THAN IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. HELP

So you think this is funneh, eh? Vell, ve shall see vat shall happen to LeilAH in the future.

Joking XD Glad you found that little side-note funny. But really, if he takes another hit, the situation will get very bad and I won't be able to play him for the duration of the chapter. Gary's pole got taken by Sacchin, so I hope I'm in the clear for now.

Thanks for the fish, Fox-chan =3 Appreciate it.
I'm curious to find that no one reacted on the strikeout joke. Was it not funny enough?

A song for you all, even though it's not night here =D
