I'll have to read over the website and CS a little deeper a little later (AKA after I sleep) and I'll probably have an idea of what I wanna do, so I'll keep you posted. As for what I'm into, it's hard to pin down, don't you think? People are complicated :p

I'm a big otaku, so take away what you will from that. It's a pretty safe bet to assume I like whatever anime/manga you're thinking of, with the exception of the Big Three, because I work for a living and don't have enough time in the day to marathon 300 episodes like I used to.

Musically, I'm all over the board, but you can pretty safely assume the opposite of what I said above. I probably have about the bands you like, and you probably don't know mine :p

Other than that... well, like I said, I work a lot, so I sleep a lot. I don't have the time of day for other regular hobbies, so I'm super bland and boring.

Edit: Also, I never beat Devil Survivor, so I can't really comment. I should get back to it though...

Take your time with reading. I'm aware that there's material to be soaked up and understood, so don't worry if it takes you awhile.

Also, I agree. People are complicated creatures, which make the world complicated, just so they themselves wouldn't feel complicated. XD

Have you heard of the manga "MAGI: The Labyrinth of Magic"? It's very interesting and is what I mainly follow. My manga list is rather long, while my anime list...not so much. It's rare to see a good anime nowadays *sigh*. I did like "Noragami", though. It finished recently and was nicely done, plot, art and music-wise.

When it comes to music, I personally like Vocaloid and covers from nico nico singers.
If it were a specific band, I don't have a favorite. In my case, I like certain songs, but not entire groups. So far, the only bands, the songs of which I have liked are around 90% of their entire work, are "Nickleback" and "Hands Like Houses", yet I still do not listen to them that often.

Ah, sleep <3 This reminds me that I should hit the hay myself soon, since it's rather late.

Haha I am glad you like the idea! :D And yeah, El is fine :D

Should we send both Human AND key characters to your PM's or just the Key characters?

Do you possibly have a quick CS Skeleton that I might copy and paste?

And yes, I believe we do know each other from that old Roleplay haha It has been quite a while thinking back on it haha

Send me all of your sheets by PM. Once I decide that they are acceptable, I'll put them on the site. =3

Also, here's the link to the sheets: http://6am-yesterday.weebly.com/character-info.html

Hehe, yah, it's been quite some time since then. What did you apply for? I really can't remember. ^ ^"

I will also remind you all to read the rules before you make your characters. Although you have most likely read them before in other role-plays, lets just play safe and be clear on them. http://6am-yesterday.weebly.com/rules.html

The ride the human party had on the catbus was far from pleasant, yet different individuals were at a different distance from "pleasant". The majority found it to be a harrowing experience, the side effects of which would surely require months of therapy to heal.As for Hakuren, he could not care less whether the vehicle was upside-down or not.

Positioned comfortable in his seat, he had stretched his legs forward on the ground, leaned back and placed his hands behind his head, subsequently holding his hat whenever there was a sharp turn or a loop. With his eyes shut and expression positively happy, one would think he would truly be purring, if he were a feline. Whilst everyone else screamed and clung for their future grandchildren's sake, the young man in the midnight green coat did not even bat an eyelid at the happenings around him. The seat belt properly fastened around him, the howls of terror and fear were only elevator music as he thought about the many opportunities his new power offered, as well as the numerous methods of utilising its potential.
An ability, the basics of which was to tap into the world around oneself to a molecular level, in order to decrease the pressure and lower the temperature, reordering the structure of hydrogen and oxygen atoms, perhaps of other elements as well, seeing as this was Nowhere, was truly marveling in theory. Ice. It could be morphed into anything. It could have any thickness. Place enough energy into one single snowflake and that innocent little piece of white could flutter at your command to your unsuspecting enemy and freeze them in place. But there might truly be no need for it. After all, every living being had water in their system. The requirements would be to simply concentrate hard enough on the target and ice could form, halting them from the inside out. Their own body could become their own icy prison.
Alas, this would not be done with ease and the lad knew this well. Regardless of the countless ideas stirring in his mind like a wild snowstorm, magic this dangerous would not yield without a fight. It would take some time, if it could be metaphorically assumed that such existed in this dimension, before he would be able to attack accurately. Without a doubt, there will be a need to exercise and get accustomed to casting spells in action. Practice makes perfect. Figuring this out, the boy wondered in his thoughts:

‘We’ll reach the border and simply get escorted to the castle. Where’s the fun in that? I doubt there will be any chance to practice before clashing with the more problematic opponents. It’s been awhile since something out of order happened. If anything would happen, it should happen right about-’

At that very moment, the catbus halted in midair.

‘now?’

Out of fuel and our of sight, the fluffy giant lost altitude rapidly, dropping like a rock, it’s head towards the ground. The critter let out yawls of displease as it fell from grace so quickly, yet its pleas were not heard, for the screaming of the humans inside were louder than a room full of sewing machines. Harper had grasped a hold of Leon and Jasper, someone was trying to yell something to the rest, but the words got lost in the wind, and the only thing that made Hakuren uncomfortable was the thought of that short ponytail of his getting out from his clothes and waving like a white flag, as well as for his dear hat, which was now under threat of being swept away by the current.
“Oh no, you don’t.” he mumbled as he used both of his hands to keep his fedora on and hair concealed.
Unfortunately, this would prove to be a bad decision.

The impact was rough, yet did not end with a mere crash. The bus rolled downhill, turning its insides into a pot, which was being stirred. Hakuren’s seat belt could no longer perform its duties and broke, and, due to the fact that his hands were occupied, he was sent into the whirlwind chaos of the car. Several times he slammed into Leon, who had also lost his balance. Not uttering a single sound, the black-blue-haired person kept his eyes closed and arms around his head. It would end eventually. Until then, he would have to be a bowling ball and roll with the rest of them.

Harper said "I...I can't believe we're alive."

Those were the first words that broke the painful silence. The catbus’s journey had inevitably been cut short after it slammed into a tree. They were now at the border between what looked like a dessert fairy tale and an ordinary forest. Grouching and moaning, the Lost Souls rose to their feet, but were neither in shock, nor shivering in fear. This was, after all, a normal field trip to them. Such unexpected occurrences were actually rather common and, for their sake, it was best that they got used to them.

“I’m fine.” Hakuren said with a smile when his name was called by Riddle. He was still on the floor, but managed to push himself up to a sitting position with some effort. The catbus’s surface was so soft and comfortable. It would be one of the fines beds, if used for sleeping.

Riley said "You guys okay?"

The new girl asked, offering him a hand. The young man did not reject the offer.
“Yah, no worries.” he responded in a friendly manner. The red-head’s face was lovely up close, her hair was a flame, just like her amulet, and her eyes were a light blue, like a winter sky, yet did not have the chill he was looking for. The one who had it was not there and he was partly glad. Having someone so bluntly remark his actions in a negative way was not to his liking. Not in this dream, at least.

Up on his feet, Hakuren headed for the window, but rather than leap down when on the frame, the youngster grabbed hold of the fluffy wall on it’s outer side and hastily climbed upwards. Without any difficulties, he reached his destination and sat comfortably on the catbus’s roof. If one becomes stranded, it is best to look around from a high point and establish one’s location. Albeit he did not see a road or the like, the lad did spot something peculiar. Slimes. Indeed, creatures exactly the same as the ones from video games approached them in great numbers. From the safety of the roof Hakuren observed as the rest of his comrades took action or rolled around in cowardice with a slime on their face, such was Harper’s case. Lying in his chosen spot, it was as if he was watching a gameplay video.

Vincent established his role as a beserker by bulldozing his way through the animate half-liquid army and entering a one-on-one battle with what appeared to be the boss of this newbie level, the giant slime. Typical for his class, the blondie didn’t think twice before he acted. No, he didn’t even think once. He simply jumped in head-first into the arena that had quickly formed, using his mere fists for weapons. Despite the fact that his amulet was meant to give him massive amounts of strength, it did barely anything against this creature, which was not made of a hard substance. The man got stuck before landing a proper attack on the thing and would have been devoured, were it not for Leon, who came to the rescue and barely pulled his comrade out of the way. They reminded the viewer of Timon and Pumba, the famous troublesome due.

On the sidelines, Ace and Riley were doing a splendid job. Gracefully dancing with flames, they burned and sliced all that came in sight. It pleased the eye, especially Ace, whose size was bigger and flexible. No wonder they had red hair. Now, if only they wore something a bit more suitable. Surely, they felt torrid in those clothes. Something that revealed more skin, for instance. It needed to breathe as well. What Mado had found back in Yonder would have been perfect for them.

Immersed as he was in his thoughts in what kind of attire he would like to see the ladies in, what did manage to divert Hakuren’s attention was the loud ‘plop’ sound, which had been made by the giant slime. The leader had spit a green substance all over Vincent and Leon, which attracted the little ones towards them. While those poor unfortunate souls had become the main targets of the monsters, Hakuren had placed a hand over his mouth, trying to silence the laugh that was already making him shake. This was hilarious. Feather would be absolutely revolted to have goo practically everywhere on him. He was no queen, just a silly princess.

The slime gag was a good one. It was enjoyable while it lasted, but the situation got serious when the boss headed straight for the soaked humans with an alarming speed and might. Rage burning in its eyes, it certainly wasn’t preparing to give them a bear hug.
Letting out a sigh, Hakuren rose from the comfort of the catbus roof and stood on his feet, watching the scene before his sharp green-blue eyes.

“Just when it got interesting.” There was a light smile on his face, but what exactly did it mean, no one could ever be certain. “Usque ad caelum et ad turrim surrexit.”

Where did the incantation come from was not a question that bothered him. The point was that he knew of it and was sure would work.

Ice quickly formed below Vincent and Leon’s feet, yet did not freeze them. Instead, it built up, layer after layer, becoming a huge pillar, which elevated the two boys before the giant slime reached them. How the two were going to get down was none of Hakuren’s concern.

“Pluviae et lacrimae. ”

Several enormous icicles fell from the sky, ready to pierce all that was below them. Once a slime got struck, it would become frozen in place, but if there ground were to be the landing point, then ice would spread and freeze what was in the close perimeter. A good attack it might have been, but the youngster was shooting randomly and had no firm control over what exactly his needles of ice would hit or what would be frozen by their touch. It all depended on how fast those close by were.
He didn’t consider it a great flaw, though. From his perspective, his groups was doing nicely, although he didn’t know how well the catbus would take the cold that was now present upon its back.

“Get a move on it, Harper. Or do you want me to freeze you in ‘time’?” Hakuren joked as he continued sending ranged attacks. The liquid in his amulet had reached its half and was dropping below that marker.

Neither anime nor manga interest me in the slightest. If that's crucial to participating in this RP, then I may not be the man for you.

No, it's not crucial to participating in the role-play. It was simply my own curiosity ^^

I actually had a question! When creating a Key character should we send that sheet directly to you and not posted in the actual thread? The reasoning behind this is because I thought it would be cool if you only showed what the actual physical Keys looked like publicly so when the humans players picked them they wouldn't know exactly what they are getting until after they pick. So once a player chooses from the images of keys then the corresponding player will post the CS and show what they will be partnered with. Hopefully that wasn't to jarbled up to not comprehend. xD

That...is actually a good idea! I did mention that only the images of the Keys as simple objects will be visible to the humans upon opening the app for the first time. How foolish of me to not have thought of doing so for the sheets and site. Thank you for bringing this up, El, if I may call you that ^ ^

There is just one little problem with this idea. Due to the fact that I am the owner of this role-play, I will have to look through everyone's sheets and judge them. By doing so I will see what every Key is like. This will probably be considered unfair, since I also plan on making a human character (sacrificial lamb lol). Well, once we are sure and prepared to start, I'll just pick last, so everyone can have a fair go =3
You should all send your character sheets to me through PM.

By the way, have we met before on the old site? I do believe we have, since I remember your username. It was in the "Dance of Light and Shadows", wasn't it? Believe me when I say I will do my best to not repeat that tragedy. *beam of confidence*

When I read the phone message, I laughed to myself as I realized this is the exact moment I want to join. Murder, Mystery, Psychology, what's not to love? I haven't spent much time RP, but I'll show my interest and willingness to give it a shot.

Thank you very much! Your devotion will be appreciated, regardless of its level. =]

Kinda reminds me of SMT: Devil Survivor a bit. I'll submit interest, though with the caveat that if the pace of the RP is too fast, I won't be able to keep up. If that happens though, I'll let you know.

Hehe, I loved that game. I won't deny that it inspired me a little bit. I haven't played the second one, though I'm planning to do that sometime soon. Which route did you like/get?

Also, don't worry too much about the posting rate. I'll understand when people have their hands full on their side of the globe and will give them recaps and opportunities to jump in, if ever necessary. Believe me, if we get this going, I'll make sure to make it a comfortable ride...Even though...we'll be killing people XD

Now, to get one thing covered, depending on what kind of characters you plan to make, we might have to wait a bit more for one or two more people. A friend of mine told me that they will join and I'm currently conversing/persuading another XD I'm really excited about seeing everyone's characters. Hope we can make a great team!

Once more, if you all feel like asking or commenting on anything, feel free to do so. I appreciate and am quite fond of suggestions, so don't hesitate to make them. ^ ^

A bit off the topic, but whatever XD What kind of things are you all keen on? Music? Art? Sports? Games? *is eager and friendly*
Hello there, Polyphemus =3

Happy to see that I piqued your interest. If you have any questions you would like to ask, feel free to shoot away ^ ^ I'll gladly explain.

And, seeing as you're here, I'll take the liberty of asking a few questions myself. Are you into anime and manga? If so, which ones are you watching and/or reading at the moment?

[An original idea by Headphones]

Hello, everyone =3 I'm glad that you have taken interest in this little idea of mine and clicked to find out more. There is a lot of explaining to be done, which I can not summarize in just one go, due to the fact that I do not wish to make this post long and frightening ^ ^" That is why I advise you to visit the site I have made for this role-play, where I have written down and structured everything (hopefully) that you will need to know.

http://6am-yesterday.weebly.com/

After reading that introduction, some of you probably didn't understand a thing at all XD Don't worry. It's supposed to be confusing. Now, onto the short straight explanation, concerning this role-play.

This is going to be a role-play, which falls into the following categories:
1. Murder
2. Fantasy
3. Psychological
4. Drama
5. Cyber
6. Randomness X3

One day, you receive a message on your phone.

Basically speaking, in this story your characters will enter Cell City, a city located in another dimension, which is situated one day before their present. Within that town there are eight areas, full of peculiar sights, sounds and creatures, which will offer you an adventure of a lifetime. You will get to participate in many missions and quests, meet beings of all kind and see many wonders. Think of it as an MMORPG.
The reason why they, the humans, have been granted access to this bizarre land is for them to take part in a murder game. Every day they receive a message on their device, stating various news regarding Cell City, one of them being an announcement for the murderer of the day. The said person has to become a murderer during or around that time, seeing as something of this caliber can never be predicted accurately.

This being said, you should be aware of the fact that characters will be dieing during this role-play. Not descriptively, of course, yet they will and others will be their murderers. Not to mention that humans, who are users in the game, will also have the chance to fight each other. Thus, if you decide to join this story, don't complain when any of the mentioned occurs.

You will be able to pick between two types of characters: Players and Keys.
Players are normal humans, who got the message and a certain app, which automatically gets installed after closing the message.
Keys are beings from the other world, Cell City, which will play the role of companions and main battle pawns of the players.

This role-play will not be all about murder and killing. You will have plenty of opportunity to do other things as well =3 As I mentioned, think of it as an online game. It'll be easier to accept death that way.

Awesome! Mixed perceptions are best. Makes things interesting :)
Girl: Harper, Hakuren, Song, Vince
Boy: Riley
Undetermined: Inadi, Leon, Ace, Jasper, Leila
*stares at MUG* How dare you? While Lesley is in the bus? Is this some kind of drama?

Correction, please. Haku realized Lesley is a man =3

Also, I wanted to ask you all if my last post was understandable. Did it make any sense at all?

The flamboyant fanfare continued with the rest of those, who had not yet taken their pick from the treasure case of wonders.

First was Inadi, whose calm colours quickly faded, revealing the face of a person struck by the earthquake called stress. Truthfully, he resembled one of those office workers, whose nerve strings on the piano that was their sanity were about to break, due to pressuring deadlines, demanding superiors and lack of sleep.Throwing his open suitcase at the onlookers, paperwork emotions flew left and right, scattering through the dining hall. That voice of irritation, created by nervousness, contradictions and fear of the unknown. Eyes thirsty for a logical explanation of the happenings before them. An escalation of the heat within the soul. A marvelous display of the power within the amulet, the nature of which was electricity. Hakuren could only grin in amusement.
It was quite entertaining for the young man in the midnight green coat to observe this outburst of pure spiritual energy. That desperation, that desperation. It made his new comrade burn from the inside out. To accept the reality that is in front of you, to acknowledge what is in front of your as reality, to awaken from the dream that is your denial and to cast away the last of that foolish dreamy haze. That marks the progression of one's inner world. Never once is such evolution easy. There are always hurdles, pain and doubt, not only from what surrounds you, but from your own self as well. The grandest Court of Judgement, where the most lethal of penalties are given, is neither in Hell, nor in Heaven, nor in any other bizarre dimension. It is within ourselves. Our mind, a piece of meat when looked at in a picture, is the strictest judge of all. You may trick others, but to trick your own mind, now that is something only very few have accomplished and even then, it is questionable to say whether or not they were not tricking the rest to believe they had tricked themselves. Both the one who gives and executes the sentence, it is a locked cage, the key of which remains forever lost. A solitary confinement until death. A space where so much and yet so little is done and where such a great amount of information is stored, only to rarely be remembered at all. A mystery it was, the mind.
Apparently, Sihma could not bare the noise in the confines of his own neuron city. With so much agitation built up inside, the natural process of bursting out like a volcano, spewing all of that, which you have kept hidden until that point, began. It was nothing unusual, for most human beings reacted in this manner in similar situations. As a result of this occurring at the same time in which the youngster was clenching a magical charm in his hand, the sparks of his emotions materialized in the form of lightning. This was a spectacle that pleased the eye. Fortunately, he calmed down afterwards and later received an explanation as to why their group could not leave Nowhere. "So pocht das Schicksal an die Pforte".

Following this extraordinary parade of electrons, one which even Tesla would marvel at, was an ensemble of three girls. One after another, in a diligent orderly fashion, came Leila, Lesley and Leon. Le trio of their merry batch. Each of them a lady in their very own way, they portrayed elegance and grace among the rest of their more masculine and beary companions.
Alas the first mentioned could not keep her poise for long, as her freshly picked magical jewel slipped from her fingers. With astonishing speed and agility, the lass managed to grab hold of it before the precious masterpiece could soundly kiss the floor, yet inevitably landing and rolling on the ground herself. Sighing, Hakuren went over and offered the young miss a hand and a friendly smile. He intended to play gentleman until the bitter end.
Lesley, on the other hand, discovered their power quickly and handled it with ease. It was a rather befitting one. A green field, rainbows and a pot of gold. Where was the lepricon?
As charming as that individual of a questionable orientation was, the last, but not the least, Leon, took the cake, for not only did he present his newly found wind capabilities properly, he also had the courage and dignity to ask her Royal Highness for her crown. Rather than simply lend it, her Majesty granted it as a gift to the lad. It was obviously not at all a loss. She, as a queen of a country, most likely had many crowns or, perhaps, even an entire room full of them, thus one being given away was a simple act of charity one would expect from a billionaire.

However, before the Queen gave her answers and presents, she explained the mechanism of using and replenishing one's magical energy, namely pointing out the fact that one would perish if they were to run out of the liquid in the amulet, something Hakuren had assumed after recalling a certain anime. The rest of his party seemed to handle the news rather well or at least the greater part of them. They should have gotten used to this, seeing as what kind of hassles they were made to go through prior to their most recent return to the castle.

Once bidding goodbye to her Highness and the rest of the court, the humans headed out with their escort and guide, Zephy of the Kingdom of Sol. She was a girl rather small and petite, attributes which defined her as adorable, but the personality she revealed in front of them, whilst waiting for their catbus to the border, was that of a confident, strong-willed and firm young lady. This was not necessarily a bad trait. If truth be told, Hakuren's type, if there would ever be such a woman to begin with, was indeed such in character, albeit not as proud and boisterous.

Upon the arrival of their transportation, the black-blue-haired man wished to let out a purr of delight. It was just like the one he remembered from that old children's tale. A cat bus. Alive, meowing, with eyes playful and bright, it was a peculiar sight for those who still dwelt with their everyday mindset, but for those who had soaked up a fraction of Nowhere's randomness, this was something normal, if not at all strange.
Harper, the cowardly knight, hesitated in front of Ali Baba's cave and was "gently encouraged" to go through the cat's mouth. Riley, however, jumped head-first into the belly of the beast, eager to explore the world that awaited her, as any greenhorn would be. It was fun seeing this colourful palette of reactions. Everyone was unique, a special flower in a garden of wonders. And, as always, there was one, which wished to stand out from the rest the most.

Vincent said “No. No I am not getting on that.”

Surprisingly, Vincent was putting up quite the resistance when it came to entering the bus and it was amazing, if not ridiculous, to watch as a full ground muscly man got kicked by a little girl from behind and into the jaws of the feline.

Hakuren did not oppose this manner of entry. In fact, he was curious to observe the inside of a cat from this perspective. However, he did not dare walk inside first before giving way to Leon with the words "After you, my queen" and a wink. He was a true heterosexual, but nothing stopped the blue-green-eyed youngster from having some fun.

Ace said "For a tough guy, you sure aren't acting like it. It's just a bus, calm down would ya?" She laughed lightly and waited for the others, still a bit hyperactive because of the sweets.

Such was the comment Ace made, once they were in the bus, regarding Vincent's behavior, who was currently resting at the very back.
"The smaller they are, the louder they bark." Hakuren laughed along with her from his seat, which was located at the front.

(pretty much done, but might edit tomorrow, when I get back from school)
John said Also, unrelated: upon more careful inspecting of the previous IC posts:
Headphones Quote:The low temperature did not bother Hakuren at all.

In other news:

1. My reaction to Green leaving

Green, you and Mado shall be greatly missed. There would have been a very interesting twist if you had stayed around. Alas such ending shall not be seen. I wish you luck on the road ahead and pray we meet again. =< Best of wishes!

2. My reaction to Fox coming back

Welcome back, Fox-chan =3 No gif for you, but I have a picture as a present instead.

MUG said He turned to face the doorway that he and the other new members had walked into. He turned his head towards the group and shook his hand as if to turn away some kind of advance. “I don't want you all to think I don't like the hospitality this land provides. But at the same time I have no intention of dying in some strange land that probably is just a figment of my imagination as it is.” He said as he gripped the trinket in his hand tighter still, the aura now becoming a collection of lightning in his hand. Again, he was unaware of the development. “So to be completely honest....I.....really......DON'T WANT TO GO!”

.....Can't...resist....

Alrighty then~ So far we have:
