Bio

Hello! I'm Heap!
Welcome to my little corner of the guild.

My current life status and availability:

I live in the Western area of the US in an apartment I work 2 jobs and 50-65 hours (Not exaggerating) a week to pay for. I work primarily as a professional graphic designer and part time at a local family owned shop mainly as a favor to the owner who needed the help. Aside from that I'm relatively active in my social life and non-role-playing activities so while I'm still online everyday the hours are usually really early in the morning and really late at night. That being said, if you find me in chat and I randomly disappear, I'm not trying to be rude, someone probably just showed up at my door wanting to hang out or go out.

My Roleplaying style:

When it comes to joining a role-play I usually go for a more adult themed type. Not necessarily intimate just more of a mature context. The genre doesn't typically matter so long as the idea is somewhat original, that to say, I don't go for role-plays based on any specific media very often. The exception being if the role-play is based off an already well established story that it's not completely following the canon of it.

Who I am:

Curiosity is my blessing and curse. I must know as much about everything as I possibly can and often will never take a simple answer to a question without either inquiring further or doing extra research on the subject until I know it's origin, current political and monetary state, how it's used and if in any way it could influence my own life. So far as I know I'm a pretty easy going, fun loving, person, I'm not afraid to go against the grain or do something that seems a little odd. In the end I genuinely just want to be a happy person and in turn share that happiness with everyone around me.

Side note:

I've made a few friends since being here and truly cherish my friendships with each and every one of them (you know who you are). If you guys ever need anything, ever, I'm there, you never need to ask twice or feel like you are any less important to me then you really are.

The Ibrus Clan is also a thing consisting of myself, @Vashonn, @Caster and @Big Dread. We are a group of miscreants and are all really good friends. I would do almost anything for them.

Let me do some reading on either lunch breaks or after work today I'll see if I can conjure up another character. If I don't make one I can relate to I have trouble staying interested in my own characters lol.

Thank you so much for the patience and help. =] I'm glad there are people like you on this site, it'll certainly make it easier to get my bearings.
Hello, I'm Heap!

I've done a lot of play-by-post Role-Playing in my life, first on CLTCG (A site that was never very popular and shut down after a few years) and on Otazuzone which also got shut down. I was a moderator on CLTCG for a while before it closed. I've since had a busy life with no room for the extra time it takes to read other peoples posts and in turn, design characters and stories. I work a full time and part time job with a family as well so life is busy.

I really look forward to meeting some of the wonderful people I've seen here. This seems like a great community!

By trade IRL I'm a graphic designer, so if there is any way I can help on that front I'd be glad to!
@Crimmy

I would really appreciate that. This site is different from any other play by post rpg site I've ever been on. I was a super avid member of them before, but a little behind on the popular anime and unfamiliar with creating posts.

Looks like this anime isn't on crunchyroll ='[ so I can't even watch it to get an understanding. Lol
@Crimmy

Like I said, I'm new to this site, also I don't know the source of this topic so I don't understand the level system or gemstones. Also I thought the story took place in a school that was jr high to high school. I guess I just misunderstood.

I was going to make it so she couldn't make a door again and that the stress of the situation was the only reason she could do it, and that she was so weak and ill afterwards that she couldn't make anything again for a while.

I guess I just picked the wrong rpg to start off with on this site =] thanks for your patience.

Age: 14
Appearance:

Personal Information

Has long brown hair and brown eyes. Her features are a mix between Japanese and Russian.

Personality:
Doesn't speak much, will help those in danger around her, sheltered, and doesn't quickly reveal information about herself.

History:
Born in Russia to an illegal Russian arms dealer as a father and a Japanese mother. Her mother Hitomi was a trade deal with the Yakuza for a small arms deal, she was then very young, only 16, and beautiful. Vladimir, Naomi's father, found he had a liking to Hitomi at the time and kept her for himself. Hitomi spent the next 4 years locked in a room with a bowl of food a day and the occasional 'visit' from Vladimir. She was released from the room when she discovered she was pregnant. Before any signs were visible, Vladimir publicly married her and had her live in his home. Immediately he began stating that his son would be the greatest successor and so forth. This made the birth of Naomi simply infuriating when the time came. This began the physical the abuse of both women. The only company they got in the home was the weekly food delivery and, after Naomi's 5th birthday, an under the counter paid tutor.

At age 8, Naomi's mother, Hitomi was once again pregnant, and once again Vladimir sang about having a son and successor. When Natasha was born, Vladimir became even more furious then he had ever been. This was around the time Naomi discovered her abilities. Her tutor had given her a small sketchbook and a few pencils. Naomi practised, but had a natural talent with drawing. When Natasha was 4 and Naomi 12, Naomi noticed her sister crumpling up old newspapers and stuffing them in a sock, after so many pieces she tied off a section. After a moment, Naomi noticed she was making some kind of weird human-like doll. Natasha hugged the doll and kissed it, 'her only friend' she stated. Natasha then cuddled up to Naomi and asked her for a story. Naomi, used to this request, pulled out her sketchbook so she could illustrate the story she was telling. She began drawing a beautiful doll, blonde curly hair, green eyes, a satin green dress and black glossy shoes. She told a story of how it was a princess and had a beautiful prince and so on. Natasha fell asleep clutching her doll. At this Naomi tore off the page with the drawing of the doll on it, crumpled it up and threw it in a corner.

The next morning she woke up to an ache in her head and a little bit of dizziness. Natasha was at her heels jumping up and down excitedly holding, to Naomi's astonishment, the doll she drew! Naomi tried again and again after that to repeat the circumstances that brought the doll to them but to no avail.

One night, the night before the first day of school at Kichijoji Academy, Vladimir came home in a rage, an arms deal went south he said. Hitomi and Natasha (now 6) were by the door at this time, Natasha was holding Molly, her doll as she began calling her. Vladimir saw the doll and tore it out of her arms, "Where did you get this?" he screamed. Natasha began crying and Hitomi began pleading. Vladimir took the doll and threw it in the room with Naomi then slammed the door on her, leaving her in the room and the other two outside of it.

After many crashes and screams, the main door slammed and then there was silence. Naomi cautiously opened the door to find the bodies of her mother and sister lying next to the kitchen, each one under a pool of blood. The tears came rapidly, she tried shaking them awake, screaming their names, but nothing happened. Naomi ran to the room and slammed the door. She pulled out her sketchbook and drew a bolt lock on it. Tearing out the paper and placed it on the crease in the door and murmured "please work" to herself. She felt the paper transform into metal and a lock take its place. She smiled, then felt dizzy and sat on the bed.

Her eyes opened to the door slamming open and yelling. It wasn't just Vladimir’s voice though, there were others as well. "Whoever can give me a grandchild and heir first, with be promoted to my second in command!" He boomed. Naomi was scared, the tears ran down her face. She woke up with two names on the tip of her tough, Academy City and Kichijoji Academy. She quickly began drawing a door, she didn't know if this would work but the pounding on the bedroom door persisted with cat calls, drunken burps and angry screams. "Please take me to academy city" she whispered to herself. She grabbed her mothers over the shoulder bag, slug it over herself and placed the paper on the empty wall. She felt a doorknob under her palm and without opening her eyes, opened the door and stepped through. At the sound of the door closing, she passed out not knowing where she was.
