Why do people have to lie? It's quite honestly the most annoying thing in the world, next to not tipping.

Work was insane yesterday. Between training and how busy we were, I didn't get home until late. Will hopefully get home early and with enough energy to reply today.

Bio
Momma, wife, and all around goof in that order.
Days off are normally Wednesdays and Saturdays, with Saturdays being mostly reserved for family whenever everyone is actually home. Online times vary depending on my work schedule. Some days I get home early, other days I get home half-dead and late. My time to actually write depends entirely on my day. I can get some writing done at work when things are slow, but then there are days I'm lucky if I can even look at the time on my phone.
I'm an advanced writer and I have a tendency to get ideas stuck in my head constantly for directions I want stories to go. I try not to be overly aggressive, but don't be surprised if I lean that way.
I haven't been on this site in quite a while, so I decided to blow off the dust and seek out some partners. I am currently in a slump and hoping to fall in love (With a story, not a person) to reinvigorate my zest for writing and perhaps rouse my muse from her comatose state.
As far as writing goes, I consider myself an advanced writer with a minimum post length of four paragraphs. My main characters tend to be female, but I do play multiple characters of various genders and orientations.
I work full time and have a family as well so my reply times can range from multiple times a day to once a week, depending on the current chaos level within my household and at work.
I am looking for someone who is willing to play a male main character. The gender of the writer does not matter to me.
I would like someone capable of helping to move the story along as well as play multiple characters as well. I do enjoy OOC chat, but I won't push.
All my RPs have adult content. I am only looking for partners who are 18+.
I am currently having a Slice of Life craving and have a few ideas floating around in my head.

Married Ex's Younger sister x Older brother's best friend******
Shy as can be, Kara always counted on her older brother to protect her from everything and everyone with one exception: his best friend. She has been harboring a crush on her older brother's best friend since he first brought him home, but never had the courage to say anything. Nor could she, not with her older brother always standing in the way. Her brother has every reason to be worried about her. Born with a heart condition, Kara has always been sickly and with their mother pushing her toward promiscuity, her brother was often standing in between her and some unsavory characters brought home by their mother. However, she finally gets her chance to talk to her brother's best friend when her brother is stuck out of town for a weekend with their father and he enlists his best friend to keep an eye on her.
Abigail’s life has never been all sunshine and roses. For the first few years, things were normal. Her parents worked hard, adored each other, and loved both her and her brother, but when her father got into an accident that nearly cripples him, things begin to change. Her father’s addiction began because of the pain he suffered, but their mother’s addiction was to escape the reality of her failing marriage and abusive husband. Their house became a haven to the scum of society. Their mother would bring in any man that was willing to give her attention, while their father was always strung out on the couch with an assortment of needles and pills littered around him. If it hadn’t been for her brother, Abby might not have survived.
An already miserable life became worse when their mother left their father without a word, not only raising the man’s ire at women in general but turning his full-out wrath on Abby. The situation grew dire when physical abuse was no longer enough to satisfy his anger. Abby could not be left alone in the house for a second, not when their father was awake, and with her brother Alex the only one working to provide what he could for Abby, the situation became too dangerous for her older brother to ignore.
After years of keeping their parents’ secrets, Alex finally went to the only person that he could trust; their aunt Clara. She moved quickly to take both children away, blackmailing their father with threats of turning him into the police to avoid the court system. For years the three of them lived peacefully, and Abby began to adjust to having a normal life, but just when she thought the end of her nightmare was close, their aunt is killed in a car accident, shattering the normalcy she was just beginning to get used to.
But now seventeen years old, and close enough to adulthood that the threat of being returned to her father’s care could be avoided, she and Alex remained where they were. Alex worked full time to avoid using the money their aunt had left them, but without a proper education, he was stuck in dead-end jobs that would not help Abby get her own education when it came time for her to finish up high school. He decides to join the military, which would not only help him support his sister but provide him with his own education as well. The problem was, he would have to leave Abby alone. Sending her to live with their father again wasn’t an option, so he enlists the help of his best friend instead.
The arrangement at first was that his friend simply stop in to check on Abby and make sure she was alright and had everything that she needed, but when their father makes an appearance, the plan changes. Alex begs his best friend to move into the house with Abby to help keep their father at bay and to keep up the appearance that Alex is still very much in the picture.

Co-workers
Rose was preparing to take the big plunge. In six months, she was going to be married to her boyfriend of three years. As her final celebration of single life, she goes on vacation with her friends. The trip was intended to be spent gossiping, hanging out at the beach, and partying into the night with the girls, but on the second night there she finds herself alone at the bar while her friends are off hooking up. And then he walked in. There was an instant spark between them as they bantered and drank together, but as the drinks go down, bantering turns to flirting, and flirting leads to waking up in bed together the next morning. Her options are to sneak out and pretend that nothing happened, but Rose quickly discovers that it's not as easy as she thinks. The last few days of her vacation are spent sneaking to meet up with her mystery man, neither one giving up any personal details. When she returns home, she is once again fully committed to her relationship and prepared to finish up the final plans of her wedding and leave the mysterious man to remain a distant memory.
However, life quickly takes a turn when the man she thought she'd never see again shows up at her work, and her boss announces that he will be taking over her department. To make matters worse, the company has just landed the biggest deal in history, requiring Rose to work directly beside the man she tried to leave behind. The two try to remain professional, but as their days in the office begin to stretch far past five o'clock, and they're forced to spend less time at home and more time at work, it becomes harder and harder to forget the people waiting for them at home.
Girl Next Door x Married Neighbor
She lived next door to them since she was ten years old, just a normal kid running around in the backyard with her older brother playing with their dog. He never really paid too much attention to her until she turned sixteen and started to babysit for him and his wife on their Friday date nights. The first few times he was oblivious to her, always handing her a twenty dollar bill before seeing her safely to her house next door, but gradually that began to change. A few months into their new Friday night routine, he woke up from a fantasy, one staring the teenage girl next door and from there he couldn’t get it out of his head. He found himself trying to find ways to get her alone, offering to drive her to school in the mornings when he saw her walking, and making up reasons to have her watch his kids even though he never had to go anywhere. He figured it was a phase that would work its way out of his system, but as time went on his fantasies about her only grew wilder.
After her eighteenth birthday, he began to test the waters a bit, seeing how receptive she was to any advances he might make. He’d flirt innocently with her whenever he was out of earshot of his wife, throw in a few touches that could be taken however she wanted to. She never really gave him enough to make heads or tails out of, but she never pushed him away either. He decided to take a chance one night while his wife was out of town for the weekend. Insisting that he couldn’t handle his kids alone the entire time, he asked her to stay over to help out to which she willingly agreed. The first night he spent trying to work up his nerve to make a move, reading every little response to seeing how far he could push his luck. He was surprised to find that while she was reluctant, she never turned him down. The next night he finally gave her a proposition; one time only and they could both act as if nothing happened afterward. Surprisingly she agreed, although exactly why he never asked.
They both moved on from that night, pretending as if it never happened, at least until his wife was diagnosed with cancer. With his wife sick and the girl next door in his house nearly every single day to help with the kids, the fantasies are back with a vengeance. Try as he might to continue with the façade, each day it becomes harder and harder to ignore his attraction. He’s left with two choices; tell his wife the truth and get the teenager out of his life for good, or do what he can to rekindle the spark between them.
Darker Version: The plot remains the same. Husband falls for his babysitter but quickly becomes obsessed with her. Knowing that his wife will never allow him to see his children if she discovers that he's having an affair with his teenage neighbor, he comes up with a plan to get his wife out of the picture while keeping his children. Using his own affair, he begins to plant evidence of his wife's adultery; buying burn phones with her credit card, searching for plane tickets on her laptop, and creating profiles on dating sites to give the appearance cheating. The plan is simple. Build up enough evidence to make it look as if his wife ran off with another man, then make her disappear.

Fantasy Plots:
Your character and my character are both seemingly normal people. They go to work, pay their bills, and try to enjoy life the best that they can. From the outside nothing appears to be unusual, until they cross paths. It starts off with a pull. After they meet for the first time, they are constantly drawn back to one another for no obvious reasons. Next comes the dreams which feel far too real and invoke far too many emotions to be simply their subconscious mind living out some strange fantasy life while they sleep. It's the assassination attempt that finally set things into motion. They discover that they are mates, both of different races (I'm not setting any specific race like Vampire/Lycan, Angel/Demon because I honestly don't have a set pairing in mind. It's something that can be worked out during planning.). Their mating went against the laws of their race, and as punishment, the two were placed under a spell, forced to live their lives as humans. Every few decades the spell was recast and the two were relocated to different cities, doomed to live out the same mundane human life planted into their memories. Meeting each other sparks their bond back to life, but now they must run from their kind who are now hunting them down to assassinate them before they can find a way to break the spell completely.
Angel x Demon
They were mates, a forbidden love that only one was certain would transcend beyond their contrasting natures. She was a creature of light, an angel sent to Earth to protect the innocent from the fiery tortures of hell. He was a demon, bent on corrupting and tarnishing every soul he crossed paths with. They crossed paths one day, lust reigning the day as he watched her fight off his brothers in defense of a village. He came up with a plan, a wicked plan meant to destroy her light and send her to the darkest pits of hell.
From that day on he seduced her, playing on the kindness of her heart, and whispering words of redemption into her ear. He would become good, denounce his loyalty to the underworld if she would be his mate. For months she refused, the wall she wrapped around her heart for him soon chipping away as he continued to pursue her. Against the wishes of her kin and her creator, she finally caved in, unable to deny the love she felt for him any longer.
For a while he strung her along, making her fall head over heels in love with him until she could hardly resist even the smallest smile sent her way. But his love was cruel, and hers was blind. Soon she was forced to turn her eyes and ears away from his many betrayals, and ignore the hurtful things he said and did to her. Throughout it all she loved him, convincing herself that he simply needed to be taught another way to show his love for her.
Then one night, in a rage when he could not anger her, he killed her. He assumed that deep down in her heart there was hatred for him, and her soul would be cast into hell for betraying her creator. What he did not know was that every cruel act had been forgiven, and even as she lay with her life fading away, in a pool of her own blood, the angel still loved him until her last breath.
He expected a hero’s welcome when he returned to hell, praise for corrupting and damning a pure soul that was required to love. What he found was ridicule, resentment, and humiliation once he discovered his plan had failed. Rather than be rewarded with a better place in hell, he was banished to Earth for eternity for failing. It was during his centuries among the mortals that he realized his mistake. His mate had been his chance for salvation, an opportunity for him to earn himself a place in the heavens. With that knowledge he began to hunt for her, hoping that he could restore her love for him and find a way to be allowed in heaven for eternity.
What he wasn’t aware of was the fact that the angel no longer remembered him. As her soul returned to Heaven, it was decided to erase her memories of him, leaving her completely unaware that she had ever loved the demon. Soon she was turned into a demon hunter, an angel tasked with eliminating any demon she crossed paths with. She quickly rose up the ranks, becoming one of the best hunters in the heavens, and gradually forming her own small army to combat the corruption of humans.
Now in the present, the angel has been returned to Earth to stop what is believed to be the war to end all wars on Earth. The two cross paths, resulting in a fight started by the angel. As the fight progresses though, she realizes that not only can she not hurt him, but she cannot kill him no matter how much she tries. Frustrated, she flees in search of answers, leaving the demon to once again pursue her and convince her of her connection to him.
A God Among Men:
Before the rise of man, the world was a far different place, populated by vicious monsters and evil beings that threatened to destroy mankind before it could even truly blossom. The gods watched, wishing to help but could not interfere directly. From their heavenly perch, they witnessed the slaughter of innocents, the earth tinged red with the blood of hundreds and thousands of their precious children. Frustrated, the gods came together to formulate a plan that would aid the humans. They could not simply lend their powers to the humans, not directly; the human body could not withstand them for long. They could, however, grant the humans the ability to use their powers for a short time, becoming a god among men until the humans were no longer threatened.
With the plan decided, the gods imbued a necklace with their powers, granting the wearer all the powers of each and every god. The necklace was gifted to the king of men, a good and fair ruler who the gods trusted. The king took full advantage of his gift, riding the world of every foul creature to threaten man, and near the end of his lifetime, he had nearly eliminated the threat to humanity. With his task complete and his life drawing to a close, the king decided that it was time to hide the necklace away, not wishing for it to fall into the hands of evil men. He tasked this final quest to a priestess, a woman believed to be the daughter of the goddess of love.
For years the priestess traveled the world, searching for the perfect place to hide the necklace, only returning to her kingdom once her task was complete. But the priestess was no fool and knew that there would be many to search for the necklace. For days after her return, she spoke with the gods, trying to find a way to protect mankind from those who would wish to do harm with the gift. In a dream, the answer came to her. The gods ordered the priestess to form a new brotherhood, a group of devote and loyal men who would pass along the tale of the necklace and its gifts, and vow to protect its chosen guardian. The Guardian, she learned, would be born once every five hundred years when the planets aligned. The guardian would carry the knowledge of the priestess, along with the location of the necklace.
When she woke, the priestess hurried to find her new band of priests, scouring the world for those with strength, integrity, and intelligence. She gathered twelve men, each vowing to fulfill their destinies and pass on their knowledge to the next generation. The plan was in motion, with mankind oblivious to the gift of the gods, protected from those who would use the power for evil; at least for a time.
One of the priests had fallen in love with the priestess, and when the woman rejected him, he fled the land. For months there was no trace of the priest at all, not a single rumor or whisper of where he may have gone. Then, as quickly as he disappeared he returned, but he had changed. The once good and decent man now had a sinister air around him, and try as the priestess would, she could not help but distrust him. Her mistrust was well placed. Within a night of the priest’s return, the priestess was kidnapped by a group of bandits, all of whom demanded she tell them where the necklace was. The priestess was beaten and tortured, forced to endure every humiliation known to man. Rather than allowing herself to give into her captors, the priestess took her own life to keep her secret.
And so the tales of the necklace lived on through the eyes of two group; the priests who remained faithful to their task, and the bandits who continued their blind search for the necklace. The legend was passed down from generation to generation, each group growing and preparing for the day the new guardian would return.
Humanity evolved, growing by the thousands, then millions, until soon there were billions. The legend lived on, the hunt for the guardian a constant quest. And then one day mankind destroyed itself. The world they had built was destroyed, becoming nothing more than a wasteland. The monsters that had been lurking in the shadows saw this as their return, their numbers growing as mankind began to dwindle away. The need for the necklace became paramount in the survival of mankind, but the guardian had yet to be found. The hunt was still on for the woman who held the key to man’s survival.
It's 2145, the world is a virtual wasteland filled with the crumbling remains of civilization destroyed in a nuclear holocaust. Humanity has dwindled down from billions to just under a hundred thousand, and slowly growing. Most humans wander from place to place, scavenging what resources they can find while searching for a place that will allow them to settle. The world itself has already started the healing process, with patches of fertile land and waters that are clean enough for drinking, but these places are few and far between.
Among the wanderers the priests and bandits have already begun their search for the guardian, who by all accounts would have been born eighteen years prior. Each group has their own motives. The priests to protect the guardian, find the necklace and use its powers to restore the world, and the bandits who wish to use the power of the necklace to take control of the world and gain ultimate power. Neither group knows exactly who they are looking for, only that the guardian is a woman born with the knowledge of the necklace's first protector.
Arimae is not what one would expect a guardian to be. Her mother swore that she was something special, destined to do great things from the moment she was born. But those high praises and dreams of a great destiny died along with the woman when the girl was five years old. Her father did not feel the same love for the girl, only viewing her with ridicule and contempt. When his wife died, he was quick to leave the girl to fend for herself, believing that she would die shortly afterward. She did not die, however. She survived, scavenging what she could and learning the skills she needed through trial and error. Her only salvation was her dreams, dreams of a time and place where the world was beautiful and peaceful, where she was respected and strong enough to take care of herself. Each night the Arimae would dream of this life, longing to become the woman she was in her mind. But when she awoke, the dreams became little more than a memory, and the reality of her life far from what she longed for. She traveled alone, always ignoring the pull of some unforeseen force that nagged at her, going out of her way to venture further from the call.
Eventually, the girl found herself a safe haven, a tiny little speck of land with enough fertile soil for her to grow whatever seeds she could find and enough rain to keep herself alive. She settled, scaring off unwanted company whenever they passed by. It is here that she has lived for the past two years, a little hovel of a home and a small patch of lush green land around it. The dreams come to her more often, and the pull is getting harder and harder to resist, but the girl stays where she is, pretending that she doesn't remember the destiny her mother spoke of.

People call me HSD or Dev. I'm a 26 year old female who is currently facing quite a bit of time on my hands. I have been roleplaying since I was 15, and consider myself Literate, Advanced, whatever it's called on this forum. Right now I am looking for two, maybe three roleplays to help me pass my time, and would be interested in finding someone who is willing to help me create a roleplay rather than going through the motions. I generally prefer character driven, complex stories, with lots of drama and romance. Fantasy and Science Fiction aren't really my thing, but there are a few ideas that I would be open to.
I could go on and begin listing pairings and plots that I have in mind, but to be honest there really isn't much of a point. I would be interested in coming up with ideas with my potential partner. As stated previously, I prefer romances with lots of drama, often times dark. I can do light and fluffy, but I often lose interest in them quickly. Slice of life stories are alright, as long as they aren't based on high school. Really, any plot with lots of character interaction is fine with me.
I can, if given the opportunity write quite a bit, but I will limit myself to what my partner is comfortable with. I do not mind adult content, including the dreaded s word, as long as that is not the entire focus of the roleplay. I do not do stories involving abuse, rape, incest, or extreme age differences. Drugs, violence, and adult language is completely open as well, as long as it is nothing over the top and excessive.
What I am looking for it fairly simple. I would like an open minded, active partner with a sense of humor that is capable of giving me something to work with. I won't give a paragraph number since I prefer quality over quantity. A post once a day would be nice, and more will always be appreciated. Communication is also key, and I do ask that you be able to chat whenever something comes up. As far as everything else goes, it can be discussed as we go along.
If you have an idea that you'd like to run by me, feel free to send me a PM and we can talk things over. The worst I can say is no.
