Annabelle was a little startled when he stopped her and moved in front of her, walking backwards. She stopped so he would. "Yes, I was. There is nothing wrong with that, I like to help the poor out. I don't want to be made to be some monster." She said, shaking her head softly. She felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest right now. She wanted to leave and get home before she did something that would give her away as her other persona from last night.
In all the ships she stolen off, she never came so close to her identity being found out and by him, though it wouldn't had mattered considering how drunk he was last night. She gave him another nod of acknowledgement. "I really should be going now, Mr. Jackal, thanks again for finding my locket, I'm not quite sure how exactly it fell from me neck, but thank you." She said, clutching onto tht necklace and pouch tight before she walked past him once more, walking a little too fast, her nervous clearly showing, but she didn't care. She was usually a lot more composed than this, so why did she feel so nervous around him right now?
Annabelle was stopped by two smugglers who grabbed her. "Ah, look, the little princess herself in person." One said. He smelt like booze and sweat. "Let me go." Annabella said through clenched teeth as they kept her pinned against the brick wall. It smelt like musty garbage in the alley. "So pretty." The other said. "I'm warning you, let me go." Annabelle said, struggling against the two men. "Or what?" One said and she smiled. "Or else this." She said and easily pushed them off her and quickly took both of them out. It was a little hard to do with the dress on and small heels, but she managed.
She groaned when she saw a small rip at the end of her dress, but brushed it off and fixed her tiara, glancing at the two men, smiling down at their knocked out bodies. "Told you." She said.
