Annabelle just about how the knot untied when she heard that familiar voice, and she froze. She kept her head down and face hidden by the confines of her cloak. She could feel the ti of the sword pointing towards her and she lifted her head just slightly, enough she could see him but he couldn't see her. She closed her eye and sighed softly. "I'm sorry." She said as she looked back down. She hadn't even bothered putting her hair up, so her auburn hair was visible through the cloak. She brought her hands up to rest on the hood of her dark cloak. She kept her eyes downcast. "I truly am sorry, Jackal, and I hope you can forgive me." Annabelle said, then she removed the hood, it fell down her back and she looked up at him.
Her curls fell around her face and it was obvious she had been crying earlier with her puffy eyes and stained cheeks. She couldn't look at him long before her eyes fell back to the ground. "You know why I did this, and why I do it. You saw earlier in the village exactly why." She told him in a soft voice, "Do with me what you want, but I don't regret a single thing I did." She said to him.
[Sorry it's short, just getting over being sick.]
