Klaus looked away from him once more. His eyes glazed over as he thought of recent memories, ones he didn't want to bring up, but she was persistent. Just as he was about to tell her, she changed the subject and he found himself relieved. "The carnival?" He asked her with a raised brow. It had been a couple decades since she went to one of those, but she looked like she really wanted to go so he just smiled at her and nodded. "Let's go then, forget all the supernatural stuff." He said to her and grabbed her hand, "I do know where it's at, love." He said and led her to the bright lights and to where the crowd of people were heading too.
After paying for two tickets and an armband they'd use to get on the rides, he led her inside towards the middle of the carnival. "Where would you like to go first? I'm not afraid of costers or heights, so I'm up for whatever you are up for." He said, hugging her closer to him. He savored this moment, it did feel nice to get away and just forget the real world for a little bed. He was starting to lose himself again, but this young woman was helping him find himself.. his human self.

Anya laughed at his comment. "I can't help it, you put yourself in the situation." She joked back as they headed to the carnival. The bright lights were beautiful against the dark night sky. She hardly noticed when Damon asked what she wanted to do first then she finally replied. "Let's go to the Ring of Fire, unless you're too scared." She said, looking towards him with raised brows. She pointed towards a plain round circle, a car that would fit 15 people was going in circles, at one point it stopped at the top and stayed there for a minute or two before going back down and up again, staying in a complete circle.
Screams came from there and there was already a line building up. She grabbed his hand and dragged him to the line where they stood, waiting to get on. It didn't take too long before she was showing her armband and getting in a seat, waiting to be strapped and secured in, waiting for Damon to get beside her.
