Klaus had found himself a nice little meal and had his fill before compelling and healing the young waitress and letting her be on her way. He slowly walked back to the Salvatore home, thoughts running through his mind, mostly about last night with Cassie, and that moment exactly brought a very rare smile to his face, one you would barely see him with unless he was truly happy- and he was. It wasn't long until he reached the Salvatore home and walked inside, where almost everybody was gathered in the kitchen having a drink, so he helped himself to some scotch and went to stand by Cassie. "Looking wonderful, as usual, love." Klaus said to her, his voice soft.
He took a sip of the scotch, making sure to slip some vervain in it before he did so. He had already been mixing it in with his drinks so he would become immune. He knew today they were all planning on getting tuxedos and dresses for the ball the following night, and he found himself very interested in what Cassie could be wearing, though she looked good in everything.

Anya had been tossing and turning all night, and that morning she woke up drenched in sweat from another nightmare, but this one seemed so real. She sat straight up in bed and gasped, covering her mouth with her hand. She knew all the vampires downstairs would have heard if she screamed or gasped any louder, and she didn't feel like being grilled. Taking a few minutes to calm her racing hear, she got out of bed. It sounded like everyone else was downstairs. Was she the last one up? That was embarrassing.
Getting out of bed, she changed into a pair of dark denim jeans, and a pale pink sleeveless blouse that showed just a small bit of her stomach. She put on a pair of black boots and brushed through her hair, braiding it to the side and putting on natural make-up, followed by pale pink lipstick before walking downstairs to where indeed everyone was standing. Smiling, she walked over to Damon and placed her hand in his. "Good morning." She said in a soft voice. A knock came on the door and in came Elena, looking radiant as ever. Dressed in a pale yellow sundress with white wedges, her dark hair in curls and falling over her shoulders. "Are we ready to go shopping?" Elena asked, beaming at everybody as she gave Stefan a kiss on the cheek.
