S-So... um, yeah. Anyone is free to throw their character at Liz if you want...
As Liz walked towards the gym, she began to hear more and more voices coming from it, meaning there were an awful lot of people in there who could possibly see her scars. Nervously, she pulls her hood a bit further over her head to do her best at concealing her deformation. The last thing she wanted was attention from any more than one or two people at a time, if that. Finally, she enters the gymnasium through the open doors, and is instantly greeted by the sight of rows of small booths detailing each of the clubs. Liz simply stood there for a moment, quickly glancing over the booths. She wasn't sure what clubs might interest her, so she decided to begin wandering around the outskirts of the aisle, nervously sticking her hands in her hoodie's pockets. As she passed by the booths, one particularly caught her attention; The Gaming Club.

She's spent plenty of time playing video games during her difficult time of shutting herself in her room for a few years. So much that she might be good enough to impress some people here, if she tried hard enough. However, she didn't have the courage to go there alone at the moment... so she continued to wander around, pacing along the edges of the aisle in search for her own bravery.
Thanks for accepting my character!

Now... I just need to figure out how to get them involved.
Alright, very first post. I probably could've made it a bit longer... Eh, at least she's heading towards the gym now.

Oh well. Anyways, thanks for the help, Tali! And thanks, Scales. I look forward to doing stuff with you all. ^^
A loud sigh echoed through an empty hall in the residential area of the university as a slouching, messy young lady walked down it, her hood mostly concealing her face. She was carrying two duffle bags over her shoulders, presumably full of clothes, and was glancing side to side as she looked for something. "Now, where is it... ?" She mumbled to herself as she scoured the halls for her assigned room number. She certainly didn't show it, but she was actually rather excited to be getting a roommate with her dorm. She searches for a few more minutes before finally stopping at one door, sighing in relief. It was her room. And her roommate's. That's when something hit her.

"... What if she's in there? Oh man... I didn't prepare myself for this!" Liz worriedly whispers to herself, hesitating on opening the door. She waits a few moments, staring at the doorknob and contemplating whether she should knock or not. "Come on... I need to talk to someone sooner or later...". Taking a deep breath, she finally struggles to bolster up her courage as she raises her dainty fist to the door and knocks. ... No answer. Shrugging, the girl slowly takes hold of the doorknob and twists it open, peeking inside before heading all the way in.

"Oh, thank goodness..." She sighed as she saw that there was currently no one in the room. However, she did notice that there were already a lot of things in the room. Her roommate must have already gotten here and dropped off her stuff. Glancing around, she felt the slight temptation to take a look at the her roommate's things, to get a better idea of what she was in for. "No, that's weird! What's wrong with me? Gross!" She thought to herself, shaking her head to get rid of the immoral thoughts. Deciding she ought to check out the clubs next, she slowly removes the two duffle bags and sets them on one of the beds. She'd unpack later, but for now she wanted to check this place out. It was her very first college, after all, and she's heard colleges have some pretty cool clubs available. Liz slowly walks towards the exit, before heading towards the gym to take a look at the clubs. Maybe joining one could give her a chance to make a friend or two, even!
Hm... I suppose she'd want to get herself familiar with the layout of the school, first. Alright, thanks. I think I have an idea now. :)
Alright, so, how am I going to start? I must admit, I'm still somewhat new to forum RP... I'll probably end up asking lots of questions like this.
Oh, that would be swell! And thank you!
Appearance: Liz is an extremely skinny, decrepit-looking girl, standing at 5'3" and weighing in at only 95 lbs. Due to a bad accident involving her own abilities, she's the victim of two rather deforming burn scars on her cheeks. However, she does her best to hide this by often wearing a hoodie, and keeping her bangs long enough to cover her face somewhat. She never wears makeup, showing off her constantly gloomy, tired eyes with prominent dark circles underneath. Her hair is clearly very messy, not taking the time to brush it, ever, but despite that she is rather clean for someone who doesn't care what people think about her appearance.

Name: Liz Charleston

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Power(s): Steam manipulation.

Limits/Weaknesses: Unable to use abilities unless water is present, and is not impervious to the effects of her own powers.

Equipment: A dark grey hoodie, MP3 player, and at least one bottle of water at all times.

Personality: Liz is, to put it simply, an extremely dark and gloomy individual. She's grown up with a normal life, but she simply has a cynical, skeptical outlook on the world that causes her to constantly get herself down whenever she thinks about it. She doesn't enjoy talking to people, and often just sits by herself around the school when not in class. However, despite her initially spooky personality, she actually craves friends, but due to her shyness and inexperience with social interaction, she often finds herself unable to attempt making them. This also leads her to have somewhat of a self-esteem issue, believing it to be her scars that prevent people from approaching her.

History: Growing up in a relatively normal household, Liz's life was not very interesting or eventful for a long time. Her parents loved her like any other parents would their own children, and her grades in school were average at worst. However, during the turn of her teenage years, she discovered something when cooking pasta one night... If she willed it to move... the steam from the pot would do so. She was fascinated, believing this must be some kind of amazing super power, and secretly practiced by herself whenever she could. However, it was not as safe as she thought initially, as steam can get incredibly hot. As she was attempting to transform ordinary water into pure steam, she made a mistake with predicting what would happen, and the water exploded into a jet of boiling-hot steam, burning the girl's cheeks. Knowing her powers couldn't be revealed, she simply told the hospital staff that she was cooking, and knocked over the pot. After that... she slowly began to withdraw from society, locking herself inside. Only recently has she gained the courage to go out and further pursue her education by going to a university... and who knows, maybe she'll find out more about her strange abilities as well?

I-I hope this is OK!
Name - Razma Nazandesh Petersen
Age - 26
Gender - Female
Class - Security Officer
Appearance -
Information - Growing up, Jill hardly had what most would call a "normal" childhood. She was born to a Caucasian father and middle-eastern mother in the midst of a civil war and revolution in the Middle-East. From the day she was born, she was taught to survive, and once she was big enough to hold a gun... kill. At age 11 both her parents were killed in a bombing, leaving her along with nothing but a gun and the clothes on her back.
Refusing to give up and die, she managed to fight her way through the civil war, surviving until the very end after 6 years, damaged, but not broken. She escaped the potential warzones she once called home to flee to Denmark, where she was taken in as a refugee and taught both English and Danish, before joining the Royal Danish Army so she could continue killing, which she felt was the only thing she was good at. Already being very skilled at using firearms and battlefield tactics, she naturally excelled, quickly rising through the ranks up to Colonel. It was around this time that she was approached by a foundation representative, who seemed rather interested in her skills.
