New Beginnings

And so it begins! Alright @Fetzen, here it is. It may say I'm the GM but it lies xD

So how much control do you want? I'm used to doing RPs where I am strictly the player so I attempt to do something and the DM says if it works or not. Ex) I swing my sword at his ankles, trying to knock him to the ground. DM: You hit his leg with the flat of your blade and he stumbles but doesn't fall

Or do you want me to have a little freedom. Ex) I swing my sword at his ankles and knock him to the ground. DM: He does a quick roll and is on his feet again in the blink of an eye, knife in hand.

Personally I am totally ok with either. I'm not the kind of person to go God-Mode in any sense of the word. I find failure to be a challenge that gets to work through. Although if you have a plan for the story, something I may try to do could be against what your plans are and that's totally fine as well. Or we could do a mixture. Ex) I swing my sword at his ankles and knock him to the ground. (You can either let this go and roll with it or continue:) DM: Your sword strikes home but when you expect him to fall, he just lunges at you, his blade slashing through your upper arm.

And also we should agree on which POV and which tense to use. Third person tends to be the easiest and I have a terrible habit of wanting to stay in present tense. I can do past tense but expect some slip ups from doing present tense RP for so long haha.

I'll let you get it all started. You know a bit about my character and I'll post more about her in the character chat so you can start at whatever point you want and have us be however you want us and we will go from there. Very excited!

**I am looking for someone willing to put at least equal amounts into the plot. I struggle being the only one trying to come up with interesting things to do.**

Here's a little bit about me:
I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about two and a half years now. When I play, I am into heavy RP. I like well-developed characters and I also enjoy challenges that my character gets to overcome. I enjoy medieval fantasy in pretty much every aspect of entertainment: books, shows, movies etc. (Don't worry, D&D is not a requirement to RP with me, just letting you know some of my background in RP. I also would prefer to not teach D&D over a play-by-post forum because it gets really complicated. Sorry!)

The tags should tell you exactly what I'm looking for. I prefer 1x1 because that way I don't have to stress about 'keeping the party together' which can be a big problem in D&D. I enjoy romance but only when it is logical and progresses the story. Pure romantic fluff for no reason other than to have romantic fluff annoys me. I also prefer mature content again, when it is tasteful.

I tend to enjoy darker RPs and very much like dealing with things like demons, slavery, and torture because that creates character growth in the best way. I also tend to play female characters but I can do both. If anyone is out there and willing to partner up I would be ecstatic to hear from you!

Editing for just some more clarification and because I can :-) I want bad things to happen to my character. I want to get my character to their lowest point then they can rise up from it. I love intense conflict so lay it on me! BRING ON THE CONFLICT :-D I want to bite my nails and not be able to leave the computer. I also am more than willing to throw in some plot points of my own so you don't have to do *all* the work :-)

Hi! Could use some help
