Hmm, that's interesting. I know so many people who say "roleplaying is dead" or "nobody roleplays online any more" but obviously that isn't true. I think the reason people think it's dying is because nobody tells anyone else that roleplaying exists!

Do you think there would be more roleplayers if we told our friends about it?
I think I found him for you:

Np mate, just glad to be here!
I much prefer games I'm in to be a collaborative story, not really a "game", but I do understand that game elements must exist. For example there must be some sort of "game master" who pushes the story in a direction, a group of creatives with no direction might argue and write a sprawling mess! Also if everyone is planning the plot like a story, how can there be any drama? A GM is needed to thrown in some curveballs that the other writers don't expect. Surely?
It's assumed that the Walking Dead apocalypse has spread to every country in the world, so my game idea is set in the UK (where I'm most familliar with!). I initially started a game set in Nottingham, and got several members to join - but it turns out inviting people by geographical location and not by writing ability wasn't a good idea!

The game I created hasn't started very well, so I was wondering about moving it across to here and see if anyone else was interested - OR if anyone here would be interested in joining it over on OngoingWorlds?

Here's the game I created http://www.ongoingworlds.com/games/1261. Anyone from the UK want to join?
Do you keep your roleplaying a secret from those you know in real life? Your friends, family? Are there some who do know, others who don't?

If you do, why?

(just curious!)
I don't agree with feminism. I agree with equal opportunities, and I think it's only fair that everyone has an equal opportunity to sign up and roleplay.
Hey hey guys. I'm new here so still getting to know people. How's your week in RP been?

Sum up this week in RP in just 3 words :-)
Hello! I'm a fan of the Walking Dead and am happy to be here on this site. I created a Walking Dead game a couple of weeks ago, and still trying to get it off the ground. I created it around my home town, thinking that the local interest would interest people - as zombie apocalypse storytelling could work anywhere right?

So what sort of roleplay do others do here? And which is the best roleplay site to use? This site itself? Or is this mostly an advertising board for elsewhere?
