I myself have been sick like a dog since Saturday. I'm working on a post though, and that shall be up tomorrow morning. Unless you'd rather post first, @Sarcelle Renard
If I do a secondary character, I was thinking doing someone related to Desiree or any other of your characters. I think bringing in an ex would be fun though, seeing as how the two are forced to work together on missions but when they're off duty they go at each other's throats.

Also, sorry to hear the news. I'm sending you a virtual hug because that's as much as I can do.
"Harold, nice to meet you," she replied, looking up at the man while gripping his hand with a firm handshake, "I'm Desiree Monroe, also known as Murphy." She eyed his shield, and for a brief moment, she pictured Fischer bursting through barricades and large crowds, sending people flying in various directions. The thought was entertaining, but she refrained from making a comment in that regard. On the job, she was always a professional first, jokester second, at least until she got to know her teammates and was comfortable enough around them to let her guard down.

"I used to be FBI, although my gear is nowhere near as impressive as what they portray on TV," she smiled, knowing that sooner or later he would inquire about her laptop. "But I seldom engage in offensive tactics as I'm more of a computer nerd. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hell of a shot, but I can get you eyes and ears on the enemy upon command, regardless of their location."

Desiree always felt she needed to defend her skills because one: she was a woman and two: she sat in front of a computer for a living. Put the two together and you've got a rather self-conscious agent who at times questions her own work.
No worries! We've all done it.
@Lady Selune

So your post had me a little confused at first since you were switching between he and she when you referenced Krieg. I've done the same with names though, gotta love it.
I should say that Desiree still has her Australian accent, just a little FYI.

"Actually, I don't have a question...more like a suggestion," Natalia interjected, making her way to the front of the group. "Since we know very little about the case, maybe we can start by interviewing the victims' families. There's a chance that these attacks are connected, or maybe they're not, but either way we'll know whether we can follow certain clues that could very well lead us to the crazy lady."

Natalia figured she could put her two cents in without sounding like she wanted to take charge of the case, which wasn't true at all. However, her years of experience have equipped her with some investigative knowledge that always came handy regardless of the type of case they were working, and this time was no different.

"And if it does in fact lead us to her, maybe we can prevent an attack," she shrugged her shoulders, the idea sounding good to her but maybe the same couldn't be said of the others.

Natalia sat cross-legged on her bed with the usual warm cup of tea in between her hands. They'd been given roughly an hour to prepare for the mission, and given that she had gotten ready at a relatively quick pace, she decided to take 5 to 10 minutes of that time to just relax and let her mind flow freely.

As she looked out her window, Natalia couldn't help but picture Arthur from when she saw him not too long ago. The thought alone made the young woman blush, although she would never tell a soul about her attraction towards the man 8 years her senior and likewise, she never acted any different when he was around. She always enjoyed his company though as he was a very easy-going person to talk to, and since they've been at the ORO for 5 years, she's gotten the chance to talk to him more so than she's interacted with anyone else. Not only was he good a good talker (and listener), but she loved his eyes. Sometimes she would catch herself staring at them as if they were the only thing in the room.

With such thought, she snapped out of her trance. Natalia took one final, long sip from her cup before she set it down and proceeded to grab her stuff.

Now in the meeting room, Natalia waited by the window to receive their final instructions, but she didn't have to wait long. Given some information they were already aware of, Natalia couldn't help but tense up at the fact that this was already a dangerous mission and their group was just about ready to leave the house.
Her short stature of 5'3 was ideal for Desiree to stand towards the back of their formation to remain invisible. She always preferred it that way as she wouldn't likely get called out for one reason or the other. But Tourè's speech was rather short, ending abruptly with a smart-ass comment. She cracked a smile, thinking to herself that she might just enjoy it there.

Desiree was the first one to break rank and hurry off to the G.M.D. Department after they were dismissed. Once there, she noticed Edwards was looking somewhat nervous. That wouldn't have been a red flag had he not been in a leadership position, but Desiree dismissed the thought and figured he was just dealing with some personal issues. She was the first one to approach him as the others were still making their way there.

"Desiree Monroe, Murphy, USA, member of the FBI Counter-terrorism Division." She stripped herself of her weapons as she spoke, unslinging her M-4 to place on the table between the two of them, then unholstering her sidearm to do the same. Desiree then felt around for her multi-function tool, smirking when she found it and placed in on the table as well. "Just in case," she shrugged, then reached around for her backpack to take out her laptop. "And this is where all the magic happens," she added, pushing the laptop to the center of the table. "You can have one of your IT guys check it out, or if you know these machines as well as I do, then it's all yours."

"Oh, okay. Thank you!" But Kieran was gone, leaving Natalia to wonder whether he cared to hear what she had to say half of the time. The thought didn't bother her though; she knew he preferred to be left alone compared to the alternative, and she always respected his privacy even though she liked to help him every change she got. After all, they were partners at the ORO and it should already be expected that they both look after each other, both in and out of the field.

A few moments later, Natalia was off to gather some of her belongings. She gave thought to the mission ahead of her in order to come up with a quick mental list of the stuff she would need. The young woman rarely acted on a whim, and packing was no different. Every time she packed, Natalia would always double-check her bag to make sure she had everything she needed, and sometimes she would go as far as checking it a third time just to be on the safe side. Her OCD-like tendencies could be attributed to her upbringing when she was taught to be thoroughly organized, and such teachings have served her well into adulthood.

Now alone in her room, Natalia started to gather her belongings. A strange wave of nostalgia washed over her as she gave some real thought to the fact that she was going to Texas. It definitely wasn't home, but she knew some friends there who were originally from PR as well, and that was enough to make her eyes water.
