"Aye." Daniel said agreeing with Bane. "Th' sooner th' better if ye ask me. Th' sky was darkening as we came back te ye Cap'n." he commented. It had looked like a simple collection of rain clouds, Daniel was amused by the idea of weathering a true storm with this crew. His brows knit together in the middle of his forehead. He was thinking how some of the crew would have to go below decks and wait out the storm while the rest fought it, they were not yet ready to return back to regular duties never mind handle a large scale storm.

"I- guess I never thought about pirates having families." Amelia admitted, blushing. Did she really think them so uncivil to not have the basic joys of human life? Family, love, hard work, loyalty... Pirates were the same as those loyal to the crown when it came down to it. "You must be glad that they had found you." She said, trying to move the conversation on. "You must have been there the day Captain Avery decided to journey out on such a vessel." Amelia was looking for another story, trying to maybe ease the pain of Scarlet losing hers.

It began to rain.

Appearance:
Hair colour: Light brown, between long and mid-length, side bangs with many layers
Eye colour: Bright green
Skin colour: a fair ivory, from her mother's side (she tans to an olive tone thanks to her dad)
Body Type: child... but closer to mesomorphic
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 88lbs

Blood Status: Mixed. Her father is a muggle born Italian and her mother was born into a magically gifted Irish/British family. It is hard to say as to if that side of the family is pure blood or not. They believe in loving whomever you love, equating to there being marriages to both purebloods and muggle borns.

Personality: Compassionate and steadfast, Beatrice is always out to help others and stand up for what is right. She is playful and fits in well with her house as one would have to be very clear or harm her greatly in order to lose her loyalty and friendship. Beatrice is always thinking of the good in others. She is determined and disciplined in almost everything she does.

Laurel wood with a Unicorn hair core 10" and Hard flexibility

Laurel
It is said that a laurel wand cannot perform a dishonourable act, although in the quest for glory (a not uncommon goal for those best suited to these wands), I have known laurel wands perform powerful and sometimes lethal magic. Laurel wands are sometimes called fickle, but this is unfair. The laurel wand seems unable to tolerate laziness in a possessor, and it is in such conditions that it is most easily and willingly won away. Otherwise, it will cleave happily to its first match forever, and indeed has the unusual and engaging attribute of issuing a spontaneous lightning strike if another witch or wizard attempts to steal it.

Unicorn
Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing.

10" in length
Most wands will be in the range of between nine and fourteen inches. While I have sold extremely short wands (eight inches and under) and very long wands (over fifteen inches), these are exceptionally rare. In the latter case, a physical peculiarity demanded the excessive wand length. However, abnormally short wands usually select those in whose character something is lacking, rather than because they are physically undersized (many small witches and wizards are chosen by longer wands).

Hard flexibility
Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair - although, again, this factor ought not to be considered separately from the wand wood, core and length, nor of the owner’s life experience and style of magic, all of which will combine to make the wand in question unique.

History:
Beatrice was raised within the magical community but often visited her Nono and Nona with family, giving her experience in the muggle world. She has a younger sister, and her parents love her very much. They are always encouraging her to strive to be the best version of herself she can be.
Beatrice was very excited to receive her letter to attend Hogwarts, just as her parents had. She was even more excited to finally be able to own a cat. She picked out a lovely, large, male tortiseshell/tabby kitten. She practically dragged the poor animal everywhere she goes, though he doesn’t seem to mind.

@Gisk Haha :P It would have been interesting! I had imagined her to be really short :P Like, 5'3" would have been her full grown adult height :P she is a wee petite one!

In all of the excitement, Beatrice wanted to be quiet. She was leaning on the glass of the window looking out onto the platform. It had taken her a while to get to this spot... many of the other, more desirable seats had been taken, so she didn't expect her parents to see where she was. Beatrice watched for them anyway.

The door to her compartment was firmly closed as to keep Tanino inside. The young tom cat wandered around the small area and sniffed under the door. He was curious and cautious about this whole new experience. He began to stick his paws under the door in attempts to play with a loose string in the carpet on the other side.

"Aye, she was." Daniel said, agreeing with Bane. He knew the questions about this would be fired at him so he tried to explain himself. He was not like the rest of his other crew, he never enjoyed a moment under that flag. Well, until he met Avery. "Th' girl Amelia was brought on t' th' ship after a raid. Th' crew got int' a tussle while makin' birth. She was dragged onto the vessel th' same way I was." He commented. Daniel did not want to be pinned with the blame. That night his post had been to watch and defend the ship.

"It seems so Scarlet." Amelia giggled, finally pulling away from the grasp of the sailor that had kept her entertained. "What if I ask you then?" she said boldly. This new found happiness bolstered her and gave her hope and curiosity. "How did Iris, Bane, you, and the Captain all end up on this vessel together? And to be so tightly knit?"

@Hidden Lilly Just two minor things with the cs.

1) I do ask for no anime style images, I would prefer you find a different one.

2) She's really tall for an eleven year old. Like, in the 95th percentile. You don't have to change it, but if you keep it, I would just like to see it acknowledged. Maybe she grows to be extremely tall in general.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry if I have contributed to the whole problem. Especially with not posting frequently... days seem to get away from me and there really isn't any valid excuse I can give. I sincerely apologise for my contribution to your frustration, disappointment and the overarching issue.

You have my support for starting it again, in a new way and I would love to see it grow :) I don't know if I will join this new iteration. Not because I don't want to but because I don't want to hold you guys back. I might just be a quiet supporter reading all of the posts as time goes on.
