I'm holding back my post until the actual presentation of your characters.
Geoffre observed the new contestants with curiosity, "Already formed a team, eh? Might be worth a few grand in sponsorship." With a swipe of his hand a holographic screen materialized, and with two simple words "Skylar Laverne" information on the contestants was displayed. "Hmm. 19, good, still in his prime, good reflexes most likely. According to pregame testing, very quick reactions and the like. Certainly one to consider throwing some money at. Now for the fat one. Wanatabe. Hm 38 years and kinda large, can't say he's in his prime, so that's a downer. Well it says he's a sumo, so I guess it makes sense he's large. Also says that according to their best guesses, because he didn't do too much, he's a patient man, though that might come in handy sometimes, in a game full of younger reactive people he might not last past the first week or so. Still, might be worth a small investment." With that the holograph dissipated and Geoffre went to observe the swans in his private lake.

Well, I didn't mean that everyone had to be connected to everyone, just to think about how the other factions would interact with yours. They also don't all have to be ancient immortal races. That being said, they're good to go, though I wish we knew enough about the Noctramancers to come up with a reason they might be in conflict.

I know they don't have to be immortal or ancient, but I made it like that because they're essentially Forrest spirits, so as old as the forest, and , not technically immortal, just that they luv as long as the Forrest reies, and since some areas of the amazon hale from when the world was mostly tropical, it is basic immortality. But extensive logging does pose a threat to them.
Geflas:

The Geflas are an ancient race, slightly older than the Vampires, although any contact is avoided, although the Geflas have always been a peaceful faction with no desire of harm, instead taking the role of forest protectors. With a inconsistent plant based DNA, the Geflas have the ability to change size, making them even more suited for deterring humans from forest. Though their true home is deep in the untainted heart of the amazon, some of the Geflas, including their formal queen, moved to the human world, in a attempt to cleanse it and restore the Forrest, but were met with hostility all the way from Sumeria, eventually driving them into hiding, until the announcement of Oliver Day's new refuge, of which was quickly sought out. Since then, things have remained between the Geflas and the Vampires as they typically have, with little contact or interaction, with the Vampires considering the immortal Geflas as of little concern, and the Geflas considering the immortal Vampires to be to offensive too socialize with. As far as Noctramancers go, the Geflas attempted to wage a crusade against them long ago, but it ended in failure when they encountered the land the dark magic had tainted, and were forced back to their jungle sanctum, of which they cast protective magics upon to keep it safe from the spreading taint of the humans/ Noctramancers.

Attire: The Geflas are known for their green to blue skin, and often wear leaves, social order is distinguished by each Geflas's birth trees distance from the heart of the jungle, with the queen being born at the very center,.
I have a deal of interest.

Also, side note, Quetzalcoatlus, was a 3 tonne flying animal, albeit with a wing span of forty feet.
Geoffre sat about in his mansion, right next to the presidential one, and with a great view of the capitol, as always, being a sponsor, and personal clothing designer of the president himself, Geoffre got a "sneak peek" at the competitors, it's be shortly after they were all assembled. Before they were all dressed up and pranced around in a attempt to be likable, many of the top designers of his company were usually the designers of the contestants, the pawns. With a wave of his hand a servant came over, a small boy, probably 20 years or age, came over. Geoffre remembered him well, just last year he had the servants tongue ripped out for speaking without permission. Goeffre only spoke two words to the now mute servant, "More wine." With that his glass was filled with some of the finest wine in the country, premium, many years of work went into its creation, and over a century of aging. He flipped the channel to one of the monitoring networks of the common folk, and grew a ever so slight grin watching their toils.

If you really want to continue this and you can't get the consent of the OP, then, to be safe, mold it into your own idea. It'll a kind of renewal of it, but it won't be the exact same, you know? If you base your idea off of it, but don't completely take the entire thing, then it's okay. And by base it off of it, I mean create your own idea using the original as an inspiration and not a cut and dry copy, if you know what I mean. It's work for you, but if you really liked this idea, then that shouldn't matter.Plus, if the plot can be generalized enough for you to safely create your own idea from it, then it won't be a problem. That'll take some analyzing and all that fun stuff until you hit the foundation, or at least garner a general concept from it, but it's the safest way to essentially 'revive' the RP.

Yeah, that's what I meant by inspiration. Thank you.
yeah, i understand that, my prolem was that the original left RPG and hasn't een seen yet. ut it was a really good idea so i was confused.
I'd say star ocean was pretty over looked, decent adventure game in my opinion.
