Now here comes a more helpful statement. Plenty of complaints but what really happened in IC is the princess and priestess being kidnapped. Akane, Kouko, and Yuki are fighting shadow snakes, and the others seem to be heading to find the princess.

Akane evaded a few snaps from the snakes trying to read the situation and a way to get out of it. In a few seconds it was apparent to her what this was. Advanced sorcery using shadows. She encountered it only once and she needed some assistance from a now dead priestess. Another snap missed the slayer tearing the bark off a tree. Kouko's weapon was good enough to actually damage them and Yuki proved they weren't completely incorporeal.

"Not as advanced as I thought. Kouko aid Yuk!i I'll lead the shadows towards me and you can deal the final blow!" Akane dropped her Naginata and ran near the shadows doing what she could to not get hit, but get close enough to get their attention. They would have to deal with this and find the source of these things.

She could feel their malevolent nature as their dark teeth barely touched her skin. Akane's ribs were aching a bit after that initial attack. Kouko would have to quickly attack before Akane gets too exhausted.

Well Idon't think Teamwork will work since the GM did say they aren't ready yet. I'm guessing they aren't powerful enough even together. Remember this was supposed to be a losing battle no matter what. Just teamwork won't be enough.

The only person who stated they had any spiritual influence on their CS was me, so it would make sense that Hanami is the only one who be effective at killing shadow demons. >.> We can't all be good at fighting every type of battle or that would um... pretty much ruin the whole point of working as a team to protect Mizuki..

Well I believe Raineh's initial argument was about Hanzo. So far the GMing isn't bad, but I think the first boss is so powerful because there wasn't a good hard limit on power levels for characters. Forcing the GM to make Ninja Lu Bu.

Well we do have a ninja and at least one other character who fights creatures that tend to rely on stealth to escape. I'm assuming that he's probably too good for them to beat while they are protecting someone. If he gets in close with certain characters it should be a better fight. If not then I guess they can always find a few ancient weapons to level up..

Actually I am wondering if Hanzo is someone they aren't ready to face then when would they be ready? Technically I'd say some of the group seem to be as high as their going to get in skill. I guess you could say when they learn his technique? Since your new at this I can understand the difficulty with dealing with all these power levels. Just for the future it would be better to know a hard limit for power levels players can get. If not you will get half the group having players that would fit into Dynasty Warriors when the strongest enemy can barely fight 30 people at once XD
