Which is the opposite. This shows were the vast majority of wealth is generated, note Aberdeen, the most northern city in scotland (unless you count inverness which is like, y'know, basically a town), it generates the second highest income. Also just note the north of england in general, some of those places are making at least a decent wage for themselves. Now, let's look at where the money ends up. London, and South East England (the place were successful people in london go to live and study, like Berkshire, Buckinhamshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Oxford, Surrey, Kent etc.)They may be an economic powerhouse, but they're not helping out the rest of the UK by being one. It's a shown fact - they're taking more than they give.

I support their independence and everything but how will the Scots survive economically? Last time i checked they weren't exactly a economic powerhouse.

I wouldn't get too excited. Poll results don't always represent the results of the vote. Case in point, in the last Alberta provincial election, the Wild Rose party constantly was ahead in polls and when the election rolled around, they were crushed by one of the biggest landslide Conservative victories in Alberta history.Same deal with Quebec's sovereignty referendums. They keep making it sound like a sure thing with these polls, but as you may have noticed, they're still a part of Canada.

My sister once stabbed her hand with a fondue fork by accident. Didn't even realize what happened until my mom noticed the blood.

Maybe you stabbed yourself without knowing or something.
